I received an energy therapy session from Wilson on Saturday, March 2, 2019 and my experience was…read morepositive. I was seeking support because with the cooler weather and rain, I have not been as active as normal and my body has been feeling stagnant and stiff. What I experienced during the session with Wilson was a waking up of my energy, so that felt great and was what I was wanting. I'll explain what the experience was like, in case others would like some idea of what to expect. He started with working on my back, so I was face down (fully clothed). He applied pressure and a rocking motion all along the spine. I could feel some spots were very sore. I knew these to be specific acupressure points along the body's meridians and recognized some of them from my experience with energy systems and from knowing my own body. For example, I would say in my head "ah, there's lung meridian" and "ah, there's the kidney point" and "there's gallbladder." I know from work with other practitioners that when I have these points pressed on and rocked that it releases energy blockages for me and I feel better afterward, so I was happy early on in my session with an expectation that good work was happening. Wilson also pulled (dragging hands over the body) energy across the body's hemisphere's multiple times. This is really good for getting the energy to flow across the mid-line (between the left side and right side of the body and the brain). Next Wilson had me turn over and lie on my back, so that he could work on the points that are accessible on the front of the body. He worked on connecting and stimulating all the major energy (meridian) intersections, once again applying pressure and rocking, and encouraging energy to move by dragging his hands on the body. He did what I know as the "hook-up" (from Eden Energy Medicine references) where he touches one finger on the center of the forehead (third eye) and one on the navel. I immediately felt my body begin to get very warm so I knew this was working! After working on the torso, he moved to the arms and legs, hands and feet. My legs had a lot of stagnant energy so they were very sore as he applied pressure and rocked. I even said "yeow!" a few times because there was so much gunk (my personal technical term - ha ha) that needed to be moved out. About an hour after my session I started to feel soreness throughout my body as the gunk was being moved by all of my systems in the natural healing process of removing waste and toxins. I kept drinking lots of water and decided to take frequent short walks to keep things moving. After lunch I felt compelled to rest. I sat in the recliner and rested and then fell into a deep sleep, waking up after a couple of hours. I got up and began to move again, a bit like a slug, and then began an organizing de-cluttering activity in my office. My body continued to feel sore - primarily in my neck, mid back, and lower back. I continued to hydrate. I had a good night's rest and the next morning could feel the soreness still, but less. I felt great and had a good amount of energy. The soreness improved throughout the day and by the end of the day very little remained. I am very pleased with the results from my session with Wilson.

I highly recommend a visit, I know it's been entirely too long since I was last in his presence. Unfortunately, I can't vouch for the location and atmosphere of the wellness center (all my treatments were offsite), but rest assured you're in good hands.

My friend and I came here on a weekend for a 60 minute massage. There are two lovely women here, they're not very proficient in English but you can understand the basics. We got an appointment immediately. The massage was truly the best part. They ask if you want it medium pressure or if it needs to be sensitive. I went with medium, she took care of a lot of my knots, I had some tense muscles she did a very good number on those. I really enjoyed it. I had a shoulder pain going in and it completely disappeared after the massage. Again, it's not a very fancy place but a decent place for a good massage. They know what they're doing and are reasonably priced. Do let them know what you like and if you have any areas you want them to avoid or focus on. They only accept cash, so make sure you have cash on you and a little extra for tip. It's definitely worth it.
