My husband had a terrible massage from Kristen that he did not ask for then was told that it was $20 more than the price on the website which the owner tried to say that the specified price listed was the " starting price " which it does NOT say starting. It lists $250 for a couples massage, so that is what the customer is expecting to pay. That is how it used to be. The owner then called and interrogated my husband about his experience instead of trying to reconcile it. Was overall a very uncomfortable experience that we were so disappointed by. We traveled 3 hours for this and 100% will not do again. We will still be returning to Morro Bay though just sans Spa By The Bay.

Herbal tea on arrival, one hour gentle massage from Don, a foot soak and a light lunch, manicure (his very first), pedicure (his feet never looked better) and facial from Melissa, Dad practically floated home. He loved every minute, was still floating 2 days later. As he wrote us: "It's luxurious, yes, but also therapeutic, a body healing. Medicare should include it." And I suspect he will be back. After the massage was over, I thought "well, that was okay" However, the next morning I noticed that the nagging pain in my left shoulder was gone! I had injured the shoulder in a fall during hiking 3 years ago and I have had recurring pain, which in the last year turned to constant pain at a level of 4-5. Not to mention reduced range of motion. I have been to an orthopedist twice and the only solution he offered was surgery. I am so happy with the results. I can now play guitar again with no pain.
