He showed me some of the material he was top of the line. After a great estimate (compared to other roofers) Jimmy's crew came out and started the work with supervisor Dave. The crew was very professional and worked like a well-oiled machine. Every person knew what their exact job was. After completion, the property was cleaned up (even polished my deck railings and spindles) and looked as if nobody was there. FINALLY got someone out and he said he fixed it but they're still leaking. Waiting for them to return our call (again) because the gutters are still leaking. I wanted to go with a local contractor with a good solid reputation. I know people that had work done by them in the past and recommended Tortorice. They are a well established contractor in the area for over 30 years. So I called them to come out and look at it to see about either a repair or a reroof. Some of the wood on the back of the roof needed to be replaced. We decided on having the whole roof done even though the roof was only 5 years old. I just wanted it done right. We went with 30 year warranty shingles. They even provide financing through a local bank but I opted to get a home improvement loan through my credit union to pay for it. They took care of the permits, yard clean up, and dumpster removal. Work was done in 1 full day. The foreman and the crew were friendly and professional. While the price was higher than I expected, I would rather pay a bit more for higher quality work than pay less for shoddy work. Been there, done that.

Taking the old gutters…read moreoff 5 Putting the continuous gutters on and asking where we want downspouts 5 Coming back to pick up all the nails and screws that they dropped removing the old gutters NOPE! Even after we called and asked them to bring out one of their large magnets brooms that all roofing and contractors have Nope, no show. I personally picked up 10 nails the day after installing the gutters The next day my husband picked up another dozen. We got the gutters put on the first week of March and today (4/1/26) my hubby pulled his truck into a different section of the drive and lo and behold he went out to get milk just now and has a flat tire. The screw is an exact match to the ones in our gutters! So they do a great job installing but they are lax on the clean up. Just be careful before giving final payment. Because that is too too many nails / screws to accidentally miss.
