Poor stock, low quality, lack of variety but my strongest recommendation against this place is the fact that not a single person in the store, customers and staff alike, were wearing a mask during a pandemic. Staff person at front counter wasn't wearing a mask. I left without even looking around...don't really need souvenirs that badly!

None of the staff were wearing masks so we left to find somewhere that prioritized customer and employees safety.

No mask worn by the counter attendant, although she was kind. Avoid until they get their act together!

I usually avoid these type of places because they are simply too cliche for any beach vacation. However, I stopped in and was really surprised. Generally the "beach souvenir" stores are overpriced garbage. However, this was not the case with Wings. They offered numerous tables of t-shirts priced at "2 for $15" - very reasonable. They also carry a large selection of swim-ware, beach towels, and all of the little trinkets you would expect...including what appeared to be genuine "sharks in a bottle' for $16. They sure looked real to me.... Certainly worth a stop! read more

I purchased a few items including a shirt with matching shorts. As she handed me my card back I noticed a hole in the shorts and asked if I can just get a new pair. The cashier said yes. I go to look and they did not have the color or size in the same shorts. I went back up to ask if they had any more in that color and she said no. I went back trying to find a pair to match but just did not like anything as much as the original shorts. I went back up to ask to return them as I did not like any other shorts to match the shirt and they did not have the same item. The cashier called someone over, I'm assuming possibly a manager. She VERY rudely just kept saying "we do not return." A young girl who clearly cared less about customer service. They should have returned the defective item considering I had not even walked out of the store with it. I didn't even leave the counter with the item. I can understand if I changed my mind but the item was defective and they did not have the same to exchange them. I will never purchase from another wings store again. read more

Even if shopping, they'll still tow you if you exceed their 30 minutes. Trust me. They'll tow you if you go to the beach too. No manners. Nothing in there is even worth anything, specially the $200 impound fine. Go get quality souvenirs worth something from a local surf shop rather than a chain like this. They must get a cut from the cars they tow. They will also take pictures of your vehicle and license plates which is then traded between multiple people. Not ok. read more

I just got home from my vacation to Emerald Isle, where I bought a spirit jersey style shirt from this store. I washed it once and 2 letter came off and the rest are falling off. Very disappointed. read more

I purchased several items including a $100.00 Beater Board (Body Board) with fins and 2 of the "screws" that hold the fins in were too small for the hole that was made during manufacturing. We took the board into the water and one fell out immediately. I took it out of the water and returned it the next day with the receipt. when I tried to show the manager "Carla" the problem and told her I would like a refund, she said they don't give refunds and refused to look at what the problem was. I asked what she could do for me if they don't give refunds and she walked away ( I think to help me in some way). I finally went over to her and she yelled at me for putting my hand on the glass counter and said that she was not helping me. I have been a customer for 20 years when coming here in the summers. I was treated so badly I really can't believe how rude she was. .... Really put a damper on the vacation. read more

You can literally buy seashells playing poker! Wings had something for everyone. It's also the cheapest and best place to buy t-shirts and any trinket you can imagine with a beach theme. I love this place! read more

Usually like Wings' prices and their wide selection of marginal merchandise. We got three VERY simple henna tattoos here tonight and they had wildly different prices ($19-33) despite taking about the same amount of time and using the same amount of ink. Hit me up for $75 and blew my mind. Bottom line: ASK before you get inked. Shameful ripoff. I know this isn't technically Wings' business, but they do sanction it by having it inside their store, so I hold them accountable. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Because of this location I will NEVER shop at Wings again. My husband and I used to live in San Diego and we and our many visitors have spent hundreds of dollars at Wings as it was our favorite souvenir shop. We took my mom on a vacation to celebrate her beating breast cancer. It was our very FIRST day on vacation and decided to go see the ocean. Wings seems to be anywhere there is a coastal tourist city so we searched and found one. Once we got there we parked at Wings, knowing we would be buying all of our souvenirs here. My mom and daughter were too excited so we went down to the beach first. We were down there long enough to splash in a couple of waves, collect some shells and rocks, rinse off and head to WIngs...to find that our car had been towed. I get that there's a sign there that says no beach parking but what if you are coming to be a patron? Shouldn't there be some form of time frame? Especially since we were coming to back to buy all of our souvenirs. Which, technically we WERE patrons because my husband ended up buying some things. There's a guy who sits across the road and watches the parking lot, he couldn't just come over and give a little warning? It's funny, we were with people who are from North Carolina and conveniently our car was the one that was towed because we had Indiana plates. Not only that, we had to drive almost 20 minutes to some sketchy place to get my moms car and it was the only one there, what a legit business(sarcasm) The guy was completely rude, kept his cigarette in his mouth the whole time blowing smoke in my mom's face. To think Wings would do business with a company like this makes me not trust the company anymore and they've lost mine as well as a lot of my family's business because of this mess. To think, instead of spending money at Wings, my mom had to spend every last dime of her spending money on towing charges. Looks like they missed out. I actually emailed customer service and they told me they were sending a gift card that I still have never received. read more
