Do not go to this store. The customer service is awful. My daughter got the incorrect size for her bathing suit (the bottoms fell off her), and they did not allow us to exchange it for the correct size, claiming (falsely) there was a NC law prohibiting it. read more

Emily, the cashier is Phenomenal! She was very kind and helpful in guiding us through multiple purchases during our vacation. The prices, as others have stated, are cheaper than any of the others. The customer service is also lacking elsewhere, ESPECIALLY at Pacific on Loon St. (Perfect name BTW!) Because, those people are nut cases; complete jerks, RUDE, Mean and Nasty! I would give negative stars if I could. My daughter was on vacation and bought a personalized coffee mug for me. I contacted the place through Facebook Messenger which is the only way to contact them. I had a fine line crack in the handle which can barely be seen unless you really focus on the crack. I used it the first day it was given to me and went to shake out the cup after I washed it and I could here a squeaking. That is when I realized it had a fine line crack on the handle. I don't fault any party because of the crack because it is difficult to see. I included a picture, but it would have to be expanded on the computer to barely see the crack. However, I asked if they would consider replacing the cup and I would even pay for shipping, because this is a sentimental gift. The first reply was all exchanges are done in the first 24 hours with receipt; kind of hard to do when you are 4 hours away. Not even a hello or sorry to hear about what happened. Their second and fourth reply was that it was not broke when they sold it; well apparently it was broke. The person behind their messages was very rude and claimed he or she was the owner. I would not recommended this place at all!! Good customer service would have done something to remedy this situation. read more

Disappointing! I just posted a negative review on this business and I'm posting another one due to you can't even call and speak with anyone here! Owner is obviously very disconnected, they're phone is out of service. Again.... shabby! Very disappointing, won't be returning here. When they can't even keep their phones on you know there is a problem! They are displaying merchandise they don't sell and will not sell the display. What we tried to purchase hasn't been sold here in over a year. That being said..... why are they displaying it?!?!?!? Wouldn't recommend bringing your kids here. If they see something they want you likely won't be able to get it!!! read more

Although it is smaller and quieter than nearby Wings, this place has awesome deals that top most of the beachwear stores I've seen. Their rack outside is highly discounted (warning: the side facing the street can be a bit sun bleached, but who cares if it's at $5 swimsuit?). I like the quality of some of the clothes better than other similar places--the styles are much more wearable than the unreasonably skimpy and/or brightly colored items to be found at the larger chains. read more

My family and I came in for the first time the other morning and really liked this beach store! They have lower prices than most stores on EI, especially with the 2 for $14 shirts. We forgot our beach chairs at home and were able to get some new ones for cheap here. My kids and I also got henna tattoos done by Brittany while we were there and they looked great. We've had some before that turned out badly, but she made sure we knew how to care for them so that they'd last a while!. The staff was really friendly towards us, as well! Will be coming back to Colors next year when we visit. :) read more

The one star review is for the young girl who claimed to be a manager named Brittany. She glared at me while I was having my shirt printed today. And then again while I was having a bracelet engraved. I asked her if she was in a bad mood and she just walked away without answering or apologizing. I heard other customers in the store talking about how pissed off she looks. She does not greet the customers at all and had a permanent frown on her face at all times. Definitely NOT a welcoming vibe. The other two girls were nice, smiling and helpful. read more

Absolutely horrible experience at Colors in Emerald Isle and will NOT be shopping there again! I went in there at 7 o'clock tonight with a friend of mine. We were walking around the shop, trying to look at everything, because I had never been there before. Around 5 minutes of looking around, a young brunette came up to me and said with the biggest attitude "are you guys trying to steal because you are just standing around." I said "Excuse me? No, I am just looking around." and she huffed off to the other side of the store. Because I decided my boyfriend would really like the item I had picked out for him i went to the register to purchase it. I made my purchase and then looked at the same girl and said "mam, no disrespect, but just because I am looking around before I make a purchase, doesn't mean I am attempting to steal something." I was responded with "It was extremely sketchy but whatever. Ok." And then the "manager" came over to me and asked if something was wrong and she looked at him and said "this bitch was trying to steal something." I almost lost it. THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service i have EVER received! Tried to call them multiple times to speak to a higher up and nobody answered the phone. Eventually found out from another store that calling the owner of the store wouldn't do anything because he doesn't deal with customer complaints. Absolutely horrible service, and I ended up leaving mad as hell. read more

The henna tatoo guy basically lied to us about the price and tried to sneak it by us. Once I called him out on it, he got rude but then later calmed down. Anyways, the shop overall has the same stuff as any other, but I will never go back there again. read more

Best place to go for a clothing souvenir! They have blank tshirts, tanks, sweaters, etc. and a large selection of prints to place upon them. I got to completely customize my souvenirs! Good selection of sizes, colors, styles, etc. Customer service is pretty good too. read more
