I would rate this business as 0 stars if I could. I had the misfortune of having my hair cut by…read moreNancy Pittman. Her name certainly is telling- her cut was the pits! I had a photo of my current style, in addition to just wanting my current cut trimmed, due to my stylist moving out of the area. However, Nancy seemed to want to cut my hair how she wanted to, and completely removed all the layers that had previously been present. When I asked her about it, she trimmed it a bit more, but it was nothing like the way that it had been. Additionally, my prior cut was hassle-free. My hair was cut for ease of styling. Now, I have to fight with it to look only a fraction of how it used to. And, the prices are outrageous- $37 for a haircut- and it looks worse than when I went in. I have no issue with paying for quality, but this certainly was far from quality. I was also treated to her conversation with another client prior to my appointment about her sister's legal troubles. Everything about this woman was unprofessional. I should have gotten up and walked out at that point. This individual has absolutely no class. Stay FAR away from Nancy Pitman! Every day, I regret that I ever allowed this individual to touch my hair.

I have always struggled covering up my grey hair, being only 25 I cannot stand any grey showing, but Scott was able to not only match my dark hair color but cover up all my greys! If you are in the Ocala area and are looking for a great hairstylist who will not only deliver on what you want but make the experience fun Scott is the guy for you!

That is NOT SHE PAID FOR. IF YOU THINK THESE LADIES KNOW ABOUT HAIR THEN YOU DEFINITELY DESERVE TO GO THERE. This is not Miami type colorist, these are simple Ocala colorist and that isnt saying much!

This establishment gets one star out of five for clearly lacking in professionalism, courtesy and…read morefor obviously terrible business practices. A customer who did not get a text or phone call about a following appointment was double charged the full amount for services that had been received during a previouls visit. I guess this means that it is this salon's policy to just fraudulently charge whatever was the cost of the previous service on the customer's debit card for a missed appointment, but then run it twice for extra emphasis, mistake by them or not. For me, a sudden charge debited out of my account in the amount of $370 which turns out to be twice the price for services for a previous visit, is finanacially devastating. If the policy is a $50 charge for a missed appointment, then charge only the $50, not $370. But to arbitrarily charge a huge fee for services that were neither actually booked in the first place and never actually planned or performed is plain fraud and just overall terrible business practices. The newly planned services were not the same as the previous services, so how does this make sense? If I could give less than one star for lack of professionalism and courtesy I would. If you are supposed to get a text reminder of any new appointment and the customer did not receive it due to perhaps storm related down cellular service or perhaps because they were attending an unexpected devastating funeral then this salon should at least leave a voicemail to let the customer know that the $50 missed appointment charge would be debited. Stick to your policy of charging $50 for a missed appointment, even when you say you "texted them." Charging $370 for one single missed hair appointment is more charges than my thoracic surgeon, my heart surgeon, my endoscopic neurosurgeon, and my child's pediatric endocrinologist, and finally my dentist if I was a no show to all of these above-listed appoinments each TWICE. Please do not trust these people, they cannot be taking care of the hair of regular people, every customer must be related to the Carnegie's in order to afford the huge charges debited to your account by these irresponsible fraudsters.
