The old management team and doctors were the most amazing people we have ever encountered helping our pets. They were hands-on and genuinely loving and caring to the animals as well as the owners and they didn't overcharge or over bill. During the Covid season, our family had to put down one of our dogs. The vets were the absolute kindest and allowed us and our masks on to be in the room. A new team of doctors and management has taken over I am not at all pleased. They did tests on one of our dogs without talking to us first as to what tests would be done and at what cost. I walked out with an extremely high bill. I was told I could have a free check up in one week and they found something else to charge me for without even asking again and then wanted to throw a shot for $70 for who knows what and then more pills to take. They do tests and they do not tell you how much the tests are. I'm very disappointed in the direction that Blue Spruce animal clinic has gone because we really did trust the previous doctors.

The whole staff is caring, very attentive, someone's always there to answer questions and very honest...the one complaint we have is Dr. Jeff. He should not be allowed to diagnose at all. In 2019 he misdiagnosed our 10 yr old doggie, said his loss of back legs was "hips and age", darn near killed him with the steroids he gave us. We brought him back 24hrs later to Dr. Ivy (she's not there anymore), HE HAD HEART ISSUES - she saved him. Recently, we went against our better judgement and let Dr. Jeff look at our 16yr old kitty. He said her issues were a cause of an infection somewhere in her body and chalked it up to dental issues. When he couldn't nail it down 100%, he suggested we go to a specialist. We did, and within 2 weeks they diagnosed her with Cancer and there was nothing major wrong with her teeth. NO doctor is perfect, but he misdiagnosed two pets in our house. So to end this on a better note, this hospital is probably the only one we'd take our future pets to, we'll just ensure Dr. Jeff doesn't touch them.

I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

The vet told my husband and I to give her a half a tablet a day and if it stops working to give her a full tablet. We recently went up to a full tablet. Her refills have been every 30 days. The vet asked us to call 24 hours in advance to fill her prescription. I have always called 3 to 4 days in advance because it's always a hassle. Every time I call I am told that the vet is not in, the vet didn't show up for her shift or the vet is too busy to talk to me about my pets needs. I called Saturday 1/24/26 to get her medication filled. I was told I would get a call later that day to pick up meds. I never received a call. I called Monday 1/26/26 and was placed on hold and no one picked up. I drove down to Banfield and the receptionist told me the vet was in surgery and I would receive a call that day to pick up meds. I told her I needed them as soon as possible because my dog is almost out. She said it wouldn't be a problem because she could get approval very quickly. I didn't received a call. The receptionist called me back today 1/27/26 and said I could pick up the medication before 5. I asked if she could verify with the vet that it would be ok to continue giving my dog 1 tablet a day. The receptionist called me back and said that the vet said it was ok but to split the pill up in 2 portions. I said ok. I just want to do what's best for my dog. I go in to get the medication and another woman tells me very rudely that it's not ok and if I want to give her a full tablet they need to run more bloodwork. I am told monthly that they need to run bloodwork. Blood work is $300 every time. My dog's blood work isn't due until May, so I asked to speak to the vet. I was told the vet was too busy to speak to me. The last time I spoke to the vet was about 6 months ago. I asked her why they're constantly requesting bloodwork. The vet said they shouldn't because blood work is done once a year. No one is on the same page with policy or procedures and there is someone new running the front desk every time I go in. Most of the receptionists lack professionalism and personal hygiene. I dread every encounter with this place because the staff makes everything harder than it needs to be. They are there to help animals but I get the impression they don't really care to.

After multiple negative experiences at traditional clinics, switching to a mobile vet has been a game-changer -- no stressful car rides, and far better care. Dr. Rahim and her team are exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They take the time to help our cats feel comfortable, gently handle anything stressful, and clearly explain every step of care. I honestly learned more about my cats in one visit than I did in years at other clinics -- and the cost is very comparable to an in-office visit. Dr. Rahim's team quite literally saved one of our cats' lives this last Christmas. When he had stopped eating, grooming, and interacting -- and we thought that it was going to be time to say goodbye -- Dr. Rahim made multiple after-hours visits, coordinated surgery with an on-site clinic, and provided compassionate guidance through an incredibly difficult time. Thanks to her dedication, Meatball now eating, gaining weight, and getting back to himself. I cannot recommend Mobile Pawlyclinic highly enough for anyone looking for truly exceptional, compassionate veterinary care.

Enzo loves it there and I can vouch for him since I can go online and watch him through all of their cameras. This play does NOT have all day play, which I prefer since my dog would be exhausted if they did that. When I board him there for longer than a few days, I always sign him up for some extra play sessions or tennis ball day where they put out a ton of tennis balls and dogs can live their best life playing fetch, etc. I can't recommend them enough!

We texted to check in on them everyday and were told they were great. When we picked them up today though, it was clear they have been having diarrhea, with Rosco having lots of poo matted in his fur. They never let us know they were showing signs of illness, even with our daily check ins. They said nothing at pick up. Additionally, when picking up they informed me I could not go into the cat room to get them but had to wait and have them do it due to "the room being under construction" - that was a first but okay. They come out with my cats in their carrier and a bag with two of my cats toys and another animals medication, handing it to me saying this was theirs. I notified them it wasn't and instructed them we were missing a bag of many toys, a wand, blankets, etc. and their medication and treats. She came back with just the medication, told me I was good to go. Again asked about the bag of toys and blankets. Went back and brought just the bag of toys, said I was good to go. This went on for a total of 5-6 trips to bring us the rest of our stuff. She ended up still missing some wipes and our food scoop, but we didn't realize till we got home. The blanket we left in Rosco's crate also was in the laundry for some reason, they have never washed their bedding before which also tells me he must have had diarrhea bad enough to have to clean his bedding. We are very unsure if another animal's medication was administered to our cats based on this interaction, the diarrhea, and them acting very oddly since being home. Keanu keeps waking up in a panic from his naps like he is having bad dreams. It genuinely seems like they were not taken well care of while there. We are afraid they were administered medication that wasn't theirs and they could be sick from it. And they seem skittish and afraid. I do not know what the people at Tails Up did to them this time for them to react this way. They have been boarded for more than 10 days each time, and never come home like this. I texted their number right when we noticed they had diarrhea caked in their fur to ask if they had been sick, why we hadn't been notified if they had, and whether they had been administered another animals medication -- no response over 12 hours later. I have sent an email as well tonight, no response. Never received a "report card" either, even though their app notified me one should be available, which seems even more suspicious -- we have always received it right after check out. TLDR; I can no longer recommend this facility. They seemed to have misled me when checking in on their well being and his that they were having bad diarrhea, were completely disorganized on pick up (which is a first), lost several of our items, tried to give me another animals medication instead of their own to take home, and may have administered another animals medication to my cats. I cannot trust them to care for my cats and be conscious of their safety while boarding there, and my cats are acting traumatized now that they are home. Spend your money somewhere that you pets will be safe.
