I have complete faith in her capabilities in caring for my high-maintenance dogs. I trust her in my home. I appreciate her as a person and as a professional, and her flexibility and great prompt communication have been a lifesaver for us at times. My dogs adore her and never fail to get super excited when they hear us say her name or see her coming to the door. We joke that she is Maximus' girlfriend. They have a good routine down during her visits, and I really love that she will send a couple pics and a text update of the visit when she's done. Highly recommend, and I'm pretty picky!

Definitely something happened & without open communication & cameras we were told nothing happened. We tried a day care visit afterwards to try and glet past this & instead things worsened. The lack of accountability & transparency (cameras) seems there's just a bad mojo at this place. We're done forever.

Most of the doggy daycare places we knew required a prior evaluation before they would allow the animal to be boarded as well as all of their information (shots, vets ... ). On the way there, we received a call that one of our parishioners was being flown to a hospital in South Bend in serious condition and we were being requested to be with the family. After explaining this to the kind people at The Truth About Dogs, they took the information we had concerning vaccinations and allowed us to leave Finnegan with them while we kept going to South Bend. While they had him, they did their evaluations and took EXTREMELY good care of our little landshark (he's only 8 months old at this point and going through the bratty, everything I find is mine to destroy, stage). * Will we be back? YES!! * Will we use them for anything other than daycare when we are in town? YES! It's about 40 mil;es each way and we have signed up for obedience classes beginning in a few weeks. If you need someone who is trustworthy, kind and respectful of your furbaby, you need look further than these people.

They never were as good as his old groomer and frequently gave him patchy spots, especially around his legs and neck, but it was never enough to complain about. What motivated me to write this review was just today we pick our boy up from the groomer around 4pm and took him for a walk this evening. It was dark, and we were shocked to see when we came home all 4 of his paws were bloody. They trimmed the nails on all 4 paws past the quick. We called to tell them and to make sure the person who did his nail trimming knew they caused all 4 paws to bleed. The person we spoke with told us it is normal to cut to the quick and keep it short. They said this happens when "we don't keep up with his nails". But he had gone for grooming 6wks ago and walks about 2.5 miles every day. So his nails were not long to begin with. They told us to apply some Kwik stop to his nails and he would be good. They did not offer any compensation. They simply told us the who did his nails "usually does keep them short". I am not a groomer, so I cannot say if this is normal or not from a technical standpoint. I can only say in his nearly 5 years of being groomed, we've never experienced this before, and Mutterly Love seemed pretty convinced it was normal.
