Outstanding service! Amber's Pampered Pets is THE service for reliable and excellent care and feeding of your pets. I live in a multiple-cat household, and Amber's Pampered Pets staff member Shelly is usually in charge while I am away. I like it that you can choose between short, medium and long visits, as well as overnight service and a menu of other special services for a traveling person. (See amberspamperedpets.com for the details.) I book a long visit and a medium visit each day I'm away. My kitties are fed and given fresh water during each visit. The cat boxes are scooped daily, and everyone gets attention. During the last visit, Shelly noticed that one of the cats was feeling some separation anxiety. She reported it to me, and together we fashioned a solution that made the cat much more at ease. I highly value that observation, and the willingness to take the time and effort to solve the issue. Lights are rotated on to look like there's someone home. My mail is picked up, and the trash cans are put out when I ask that it be done. Each visit, my sitter takes pictures of everyone (even a video!), so I get the extra assurance that everyone is doing well. My kitties love me, but they are so well cared for by this service that they could be a little disappointed when I return! read more

I don't know what we would do without Amber's Pampered Pets and Sarah in particular. She's been coming over for a few years now and even though our cat is elderly and cranky and does not enjoy being left alone, we always know she's in good hands, which makes traveling so much less stressful. Sarah always does her best to interact with our cat in a way that doesn't rattle her but lets her know someone is there and she even gets a photo (even if it's from our cat's hiding spot) so we can see that she's doing ok. Our cat is a challenging animal when it comes to other people and can't be boarded. She doesn't let others pet her and hides at every opportunity from other people. I just love that Sarah is careful to track her down and check on her without stressing her out further. I think we would travel a lot less if we didn't have APP and Sarah to count on. Making arrangements with Amber is also super fast and efficient, the cost is totally worth it, and Sarah even brings in our packages and mail. This business has been a life-saver! read more

I began using Amber's Pampered Pets service for my 2 indoor cats when my husband and I went out of town for 3 weeks in May 2017. We had never left our cats alone for that long before, and, I was nervous about how they would handle it because they are very used to lots of daily play time and affection. I had the pet sitter come for 1 hour each day. They did an excellent job! My cats did not look stressed at all when we returned. I've used Amber's Pampered Pets service twice since May, for shorter durations. The most recent time was over the Christmas holiday, and, Alyssa was our sitter. She was excellent! We're new to South Bend, and so glad to have found Amber. She was recommended by several people locally, and she's been terrific to work with. Great with our dog and cats, completely trustworthy, and she has responsible people working with her. Two big thumbs up! We had to be out of town during the sub-zero "polar vortex", and not only did she brave the weather to check on our pets, she also kept an eye on our pipes and made sure our house was safe and sound. I contacted Ambers Pampered Pets to look after my two cats for a few days over the holidays, and they did a great job!! Misty has to take some meds and can be a little feisty about it sometimes, but Alyssa was super patient with her and made sure she got them without getting super stressed out about it. She even managed to get my other super shy cat to come out of hiding for a couple pictures! It was fantastic to get pictures and updates on them while I was gone, it really gave me peace of mind. We have used Amber' Pampered Pets multiple times in the past couple months for our four cats. We are extremely happy with the service and the app makes it very easy to book appointments and pay the invoices. Betty, one of the sitters, is wonderful! She sends us pictures and video updates of the cats and is very professional and dependable. Even our shy cats come out for her, which is no easy feat! We just used Amber's Pampered Pets for the first time, and I'm so pleased we did. We were apprehensive about leaving our two senior dogs for ten days, but after our first communication from the sitter, Chynna, we were put at ease and able to enjoy our trip. I felt rather guilty because the 14-year old dog is very often incontinent, and I knew there would be daily accidents to clean up. However, Chynna's communications were upbeat and filled with humor about the situation. I'll be scheduling with Amber's Pampered Pets for all our upcoming trips. Amber's Pampered Pet is the best! My fur babies were calm and happy to see us upon return. No anxiety or stress at all. Michelle went above and beyond attending to their needs, loving them properly, and attending to their entertainment. She ensured the nature TV was in full force by putting out the critter food. We have had nothing but great experiences with Amber's. We moved to the area a couple years ago and needed a reliable pet sitter, so finding Emily was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. She sends detailed updates after every visit with tons of photos of my boys. We love this service! It's a bit pricey for our budget but we just moved here and do not know or trust anyone yet with our dog. Alyssa is our very favorite sitter, she takes the best photos!
