I hired this company in 2017 to upgrade my panel and add more slots and it wasn't a cheap job, but one I had budgeted for. Now in 2024, my electricity has gone completely wonky seemingly out of nowhere. I initially thought my geriatric dryer was the issue and spoke to Bremray to see if they concurred. I was told to give them a call after either fixing or replacing the dryer if the electrical issues continued. After getting my dryer vent cleaned and ruling that out as the issue ($100), I purchased a new dryer ($500) and lo and behold, the electrical issues continued. As directed, I called Bremray back to report the update, and was met with the most hostile, rude and aggravated attitude from the technician. He talked over me, made me feel like a complete burden, and threw out some random solution, telling me that I'd need to replace all the light bulbs in my home to fix the problem. This sounded absurd, and I went so far to tell him I had replaced one light bulb since the new dryer was installed, and that too was flickering. I asked if he would mind coming to check the panel (that they installed themselves), and he said 'I can charge you $150 to come over and tell you all the lightbulbs need to be changed'. I then hired another electrician who checked the panel, found that it's completely overloaded (the issue I hired Bremray to fix in 2017 and paid $2K to fix), and several of the fuses were loose, which happens over time, understandable. He tightened the screws and installed some new fuses and as expected, the lights stopped flickering. I won't ever recommend Bremray again. read more

Reasonably priced, clean, friendly, knowledgeable, on-time, and they stand behind the work. Here's a specific example: I hired them to add some light fixtures and after they left I noticed that our wiring developed this weird buzzing noise in a few locations. They came out several times to chase down the problem. Our house is 150 years old -- It isn't clear to me that the buzzing was their fault or even necessarily related to anything they did wrong. However, they spent hours and hours on the problem and would not give up until it was solved. When they did fix it, they did not charge me for labor as they said they just wanted me to be satisfied with the work. What amazing service! read more

They never ever called back, even after I called twice to follow up. I needed some electrical work doing in my house, and seeing as it was going to cost $700-$800, I wanted at least 2 estimates. The guy from Bremray dropped by and told me he would call back in a few days with an estimate. He did, and I said, okay, let's do this. "I'll call back to schedule a time for maybe next week." He never called back. So I called him and left a message saying, yes, let's do this work. He never called back. I called again and actually spoke to him. He said he needed to call back with his schedule. He never did. Who does business like that? The answer is someone who doesn't feel he needs my business. He was right about that, at least. read more

They saved me! I had scheduled an appliance repair and took the day off work to wait for the repairman (from a different business). When the appliance repairman arrived, he told me I actually needed an electrician to fix the outlet, and the appliance itself was fine. I was bummed because I didn't want to miss more work for another person to come out on a different day. Luckily, Marlon was able to come out same-day and fix my broken outlet!
