We live in Oak Park- which is the Ventura side of Agoura and we have a 38 year old roof. One gutter was not draining properly, but my husband did not want anyone climbing on the roof for fear of causing leaks. One particular gutter was not originally put on correctly, but we did not realize it until we called a different local company. He was unable to take it down and rehang it. He worked alone. But we were grateful that he diagnosed the problem. We forfeited cleaning at that time as he worked alone and we did not want him on the roof. He recommended Bresnahan. Pat, the owner asked for photos ( this is important). As they say- a picture is worth a thousand words. He scheduled the repair and he gave a fair quote. He is very kind and experienced. He scheduled Alonzo, Jamie and Elmer to come to our house. They took down the gutter that was hung incorrectly and nailed it on properly in the correct position. Apparently, they did the same with the gutter above it- as they communicated to me. Gutters were also muddy as it would be following fires, wind storms and rain and many years . It is a miracle that it never came down! These three men came prepared with ladders and equipment. They told me they were able to clean all my gutters by using ladders. There would be nobody going on the roof! They work safely as they work as a team. I chose to have all the gutters cleaned. It took about 2 hours. Pat is a strange and dishonest person. He sent two guys to clean the gutters. they left the rain barrels piled with debris and the hoses disconnected, causing more flooding. They left the garbage cans open so they filled with rain and I couldn't move them and had to get help emptying them, full of water and leaves. making a huge mess that then had to be cleaned up. they left the gutter covers disconnected so now they're all just falling off the roof. I contacted Pat right away and asked for a partial refund for all the trouble, flooding and mess it caused. he said he would mail a check. three months later I'm still asking for it. He says "I'll come by and drop off a check." never does. I finally said please just use PayPal. he said ok. I gave him the info. nothing. he says "I'll come by." for what?? he's just stringing me along, lying. what an absolute creep. do not hire them! read more

Recommend and would use again. In the midst of the LA fires we were concerned about getting our leaf-filled gutters cleared. We texted the owner with our address and he said they could come out the next morning. The crew would give a quote on the spot (no charge) and we could say yes or no then. Our gutters are essentially 3 stories up at the highest point and not for the faint of heart. We asked if they were insured and the owner said "I'm OVER insured" lol. My wife is the early riser and the crew of 3 arrived and gave a quote of $650. I feel this was a fair price, hazard pay alone, and given the urgency the owner could have asked more but didn't take advantage. That said I don't have any idea what others charge, this was our first professional gutter cleaning. They very quickly cleared the gutters and checked downspouts with cleanup. Expect to have them back again regularly and also to clean windows. 5 stars. Only quibble is we didn't see proof of insurance, and went on owner's word, but given the situation didn't want to press.
