J.R. & Sons Rain Gutters did a fantastic job repairing our building's downspouts. We are a 4-story building that needed to repair the downspouts that connects the ground rain drainage pipes. Our HOA plumbers broke the base of the downspouts during pipe jet cleanings that was impossible to assemble nicely together. I found this company via Yelp and requested an estimate. Oscar showed up on time and gave our HOA a reasonable estimate. Our HOA wanted to give it a try and the board was very pleased with the downspouts repairs and replacement. The downspouts, stripes, and nails all came pre-painted and the outcome was esthetically pleasing with color matching very close to our stucco and the rest of the downspouts/gutters. We had J.R. & Sons come out to give us a quote a while back and we decided to wait until we painted our home so the gutters could match the paint. Looked at several firms in the rain gutter cleaning business and selected J.B. & Sons Rain Gutters. Talked and texted to Oscar about the service I needed and included a couple of pictures of the gutter layout of my house. His initial estimate for the gutter cleaning and and check of "drainage to curb" was a bit high, but we agreed on a price that I was happy with. I mentioned that I always tried to keep the first floor gutters as clear as possible and they would require very little debris removal. He keeps you updated on when he will come out and is very timely. They cleaned out my downspouts which were clogged and he gave me a competitive price. They took them apart to make sure there was nothing left inside afterwards. Oscar also went above and beyond by coming out the following week because I was concerned about water pooling on side of my house after the rains and he double checked that the downspout was not the cause and checked the drain into the sewer and then found the problem being a clogged drain in the cement next to my house. His crew completed the job in one day, cleaned up nicely after they left and hauled away the old materials. We had a heavy rain the next week and we noticed leaks in one area so I needed to call him back out for warranty work. Understandably, they were busy because it was after the massive rains, so appointments were a few weeks out. We scheduled an appointment, and he showed up exactly when he said he would.
