I was absolutely clueless about health insurance--Brett literally saved the day...saved me from a ton of stress for my son and I.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Health Net…read more Over the past several weeks, I have encountered ongoing issues related to care coordination, communication, and timely access to services. Despite following the proper channels, there have been repeated delays in getting responses, approvals, and assistance when dealing with time-sensitive medical concerns. What's most concerning is how difficult it has been to get clear answers or timely support when it actually matters. As a patient, you rely on your insurance provider to help facilitate care--not create additional barriers. These delays have caused unnecessary stress and have impacted my ability to receive timely medical attention. When you're already dealing with health issues, the last thing you should have to do is constantly follow up just to get basic information or movement on your case. I strongly encourage Health Net to improve its communication processes, responsiveness, and overall care coordination. Patients deserve a system that works with them--not against them. I will be forwarding a formal complaint to the CA Department of Managed Health Care, BBB, Centers For Medicaid and Medicare services, US Department of Health and Human Rights, and any other regulatory agencies.

Who are they to determine what's necessary and what's not. Not only did they not approve my surgery issues the 1st time, they have denied my pain medication to "manage" my pain. They've denied refills. I'm in excrutiating pain and they don't deem it necessary to help me. I don't know what else to do. I can hardly walk or stand anymore. Insurance is NOT ON OUR SIDE. I will continue to give bad reviews until something changes.

I send fairly expensive custom handmade items from an Etsy store, so I've recently begun insuring…read morethe ones that are worth over $100. Last week I had to file my first claim for a damaged package in which half of the merchandise was missing from a long mail tube. My customer sent me photos, so I gathered those and proof of purchase and shipping and filed a claim. A few days later my claim was approved for half of my insured amount (what I asked for). So at least so far I'm pretty satisfied. Just saved me $125 loss.

I operate a high-volume e-commerce business that ships approximately 50,000 packages per year. We…read moreinsure all high-value shipments through ShipSurance and spend thousands of dollars annually purchasing coverage. ShipSurance is our primary shipping insurance provider. We filed a claim for a shipment valued at $390+ that was mistakenly picked up by the United States Postal Service (USPS) even though it carried a UPS label. USPS has confirmed in writing that they accepted and scanned the package, but determined the label had insufficient postage. USPS has further stated they will not deliver the package, will not allow additional postage to be paid, and will not return the item to us or to UPS. In other words, USPS is in possession of the package and it is effectively lost in transit through no fault of our company. Despite this, ShipSurance denied our claim, stating there is "no record that the package is in the mail stream." This statement is demonstrably false. We provided tracking information showing USPS possession, emails from the USPS Small Business Support team confirming the situation, and all requested documentation, which was uploaded directly into ShipSurance's claim portal at their request. Additionally, ShipSurance provides no meaningful customer support, as their phone lines go unanswered and there is no practical way to resolve disputes. We purchased insurance specifically for situations where a shipment is lost while in carrier possession. That is exactly what occurred here. ShipSurance is refusing to honor the policy we paid for despite clear documentation. We are requesting that ShipSurance immediately review the evidence already submitted and approve payment of the insured value of this shipment. Failure to resolve this matter will force us to reconsider our ongoing business relationship and pursue additional remedies.
