Their son is handles the front desk and his parents are the acupuncturists. Very sweet couple. I wasnt worried about the needles since they don't scare me. The informed me and everything they were going to do and explain what it will do for my body. And they actually listen to you which is awesome. When they put in the needles they will turn down the lights and leave you on the table for 20-30 minutes so I took a power nap since I was so relaxed and soft music was playing. This is an update to say that I still visit Debbie every 4-6 weeks for a "tune up" and it's definitely the most relaxed and comfortable part of my month, hands down. If I wasn't a "starving artist", I'd go even more often, but every penny I've paid for treatment over the past two years has been worth it, and I feel better than I have in years. I specifically sought treatment for depression and anxiety resulting from burnout with my work, and I'm happy to report I love my work again, and I'm feeling more creative and productive than ever. Debbie is a great listener and a kind person, and her undivided attention and concern for how you're doing makes you feel like you're her only patient! I had gone to several doctors, had tests, prescribed pain medication, had some trigger point injections, all which didn't work very well. After a few sessions the pain has subsided and I'm not waking up with intermittent leg cramps on that side anymore. Also had a horrible flare up of plantar fasciitis on same side with excruciating pain on my heel and it's resolved. I also suffer from scoliosis with a rib that has rotated into my fascia for several years now.
