We started with onions, straws, and they were fantastic, great sauce with it little heat to it, but not too much straws were crispy so thin and not greasy. For our meal, I had a ribeye and my husband had a fillet they were both cooked perfectly. I am a medium rare girl. He is a medium to medium well mine was hot red all the way through his was a nice pink all the way through tender juicy delicious. My ribeye had very little fat on it and very little gristle perfect thickness. I had a sweet potato that was nice and caramelized baked perfectly little chard on the bottom, bringing the syrup of the sweet potato out. My husband's baked potato was cooked perfectly great flavor. Salads were delicious. I had Caesar he had HOUSE both fantastic nice cold bowls, fresh lettuce great service you will not be disappointed. The only thing I tell you is for parties under six you may have a way if you go anytime after five when we left, it was standing room only we left about 5:40 and they were packed. My suggestion, skip lunch go for an early dinner.

Second meal at Link's and they have not disappointed us yes. Still the same local rundown bar…read morewhere friends come for food and beverages. Pretty sure they don't have air conditioning, but the long shotgun style space promotes air movement front to back. We learned this time that Link's is pet friendly, say hello to Winston the pug if you see him. I got the grilled bbq pork tenderloin, this is a fantastic version on the traditional Indiana breaded pork tenderloin. Richelle got the smash burger, made from beef coming from Landen Meats, the local butcher shop you can see from the back patio of Links. Very good burger. The fries are delicious too. Service is friendly and brought to your table hot and fresh in a reasonable time.

Overall, service was good. The environment is kind of dark and typical small town bar vibes. So I…read moreordered a breaded tenderloin, told them to add mayonnaise to it. It didn't come with mayonnaise on it when they delivered it out to me. I didn't realize the mayonnaise was already on the table next to the ketchup so I was supposed to put the mayonnaise on myself. Isn't mayonnaise supposed to be refrigerated because it has eggs in it? I guess they don't think so. Anyway, whatever I grabbed the mayonnaise, opened it up right on top of my tenderloin and about 15 live ants fell out the cap of the mayonnaise and onto my tenderloin. Absolutely disgusting I will not be back.
