Staying in the adjacent Premier Inn I booked breakfast on both our days stay. You can't beat a Brewers Fayre brekkie and this was no different and, I would say, gained that extra star on this occasion. The first morning was a buffet style except this was an unusual buffet style. Gone was the dried up eggs and over heated bacon from being under the lamps too long. This chef knew his job. As each tray was depleted he waited until a new clientele walked in and he refilled. A perfect breakfast. The second morning reverted to 'order at the table' as there weren't as many guests staying. My big mistake was that I didn't stipulate what I wanted exactly. I ordered a full English. This plate full of food arrived. Perfectly cooked but way, way too much. Not a complaint but remembering the needy of this world etc etc. Nice bar for the evening nightcap of Guinness (it has to be done). Thanks everyone for a really pleasant stay and we will be seeing you again. read more
