I hate giving out five stars because that's the best, but that's exactly what this place is. We went July 12th it was HOT out but they had plenty of shady places to sit or stand! They have tons more of water bowls, and dog pools for dogs to get in the water. Lots on little obstacles for super active dogs...For the parents they have beer, wine and coffee plus coffee with a kick. The bar can be a little slow but that's ok they only got two people working and it's more concession like. Everyone was super friendly and it was very clean. The ruffrees, the guys making sure dogs play well, they were very attentive! can't wait to go back!!! Our pup loved it and is wore out from all the adventures she had! Really enjoy this place even though we don't have a dog-- we have come with friends recently on a few occasions. Santa was there both times so the kids enjoyed seeing him- we took a group picture with him (donation required for pictures). Most recently, they had holiday trivia with DJ Se7ven. He's a great host for events and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar area had a good selection of draft beer with a lot of local selections. The kids were able to get hot chocolate with it being Xmas season. The kids section it great! BrewHound is awesome! I got a yearly membership and it has been beyond worth it. I started bringing my pup when she was about 10 months old, and now that she's almost a year, I can confidently say this has been one of the best investments for both of us. The ruffarees are amazing, the drinks are great, and the overall vibe is so welcoming. I haven't learned all of the baristas' names yet, but Audrey makes a delicious coffee! The regulars have also been incredibly friendly, which makes it feel like a true community. As long as you keep an eye on your pup and clean up after them, you'll have no problem here. If there was a place in Jax that made me think of the song "I love this bar" by Toby Keith, it's Brewhound. Every time we come here, I just wish we could make it over more often. What an excellent establishment for the community.. dogs get to have a blast with their new best friends cutting loose. And you also find yourself around good people. The events that they have here are so creative and varying from kids crafts, fireside songs, yoga, markets. Love it. What's even more is the vibe just makes me feel happy. I love all the decorations, string lights, random kids toys, the eclectic stickers everywhere and how they've somehow managed to make me feel like I'm hanging out in a rad Colorado joint with the wood details & mountain decor. I'm going to find a place like this in Tampa Bay. What an amazing pet friendly place to have your morning coffee. The play area is clean with sanitary stations, and they have Ruffarees to help watch your furry friends. All pets must be vaccinated, and you can come for the day or get a membership. I don't think I can go back. This park is for "LOCAL" friends and family really. If you go there unknown, you are treated rather distantly. The largest issue was that a dog named Roxy kept backing me into a corner and barking. I said nothing and simply asked for help. Everyone, even some lady named "Lauren" I think simply shrugged me completely off, and said "She's just a baby". BUT - I was scared, the dog owner smiled, the staff smiled, and simply allowed me to say that I don't think I can return. I assure you with 100% clarity - the owner/staff could have cared absolutely zero that I might not return. They would rather keep the regulars (members), so if you are not, and get scared, you should pretty much just shut up and leave. Now my sweet puppy can't even go there, because I am not a friend that they care about. Yes, this sounds personal and upset - because I am. This was about my puppy, not if they like me or not. So I just had to leave. My puppy looked so sad in the car. She cried. It broke my heart. I feel like complete crap taking her for her first time out, and then she gets yanked away because some other owners think it is funny to scare the human that isn't their friend, and the staff did nothing. read more

First time visitor and huge new fan. I came to BrewHound this past week with my family. We don't have a dog, but my daughter loves them. Even though kids are not allowed inside the actual park there is an outdoor area for kids younger than 14 I believe. We found a spot near the fence and had several cute doggies come say hi. Parking looks like it can be a problem as this placed was packed. We got lucky and found a spot immediately but I saw cars parked all over the place. If folks are willing to park in crazy spots you know they love where they are going. There is a cost for folks to enter but it makes sense considering there are Ruff-arees. These are folks that keep the dogs from fighting with each other and other non-cool behavior. There is a big green area for dogs to run around and meet other dogs. The Ruff-arees also walk around spraying down spots where dogs relieve themselves. There was a food van offering treats for dogs. I don't know if they are tasty, but dogs will eat mostly anything right. There is a bar that serves a ton of beer choices. I also saw coffee, but can't recall seeing any other items. The area outside of the actual park has toys for kids to entertain themselves. I saw a pickler, a kitchen, and other toys. This place is definitely family friendly. I may get even more impressed with this place as we look to get a dog in the coming year. I highly suggest a visit if you have a dog or have kids that do. Five stars for hounds and beer (even though I do t drink beer) the rest of this doggy place was drinking beer like it was so delicious. Cleo came and made a bunch of new pawsome friends, butt sniffing was everywhere and no one seemed to be upset about the butt hole intrusion. Large and small dog area and an Airstream camper full of doggy delights. The rufferees we're doing a fantastic job of doggone supervision, but most Pooches were being on pawsitive behavior-fur parents were also being very good. Limited seating so people do bring their own chairs to chill in. This park is party central for pawrents and their furbabies and if I lived down this way I would definitely get a year's membership cause it a great activity place to bring your doggie. Me and partner love coming here because the place is very well maintained. Even though you can even how a dog park would look like, the staff here are very attentive and ready for any situation. Dogs being feisty or spontaneous poops, they're ready for it. The park has a big playing ground and seats everywhere to accommodate the dog owners. The don't offer food but they do offer beer options, kombucha, and coffee to watch your dog have fun. They have a splash pad and obstacles in case you fue baby gets an attack of the zoomies. It's quite hidden so you'll have to find parking during the rush hours but that's when your baby can have the most fun with the other baby. They have a membership plan if you love it and want to go often and have restrooms and merch store. I like this place and the general concept. However, every time I go it smells worse and worse. This last time was really really bad. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs but often they aren't paying attention or they don't sanitize or spray afterward. The ruferees do nothing but talk to each other. I hope they have a day where they thoroughly sanitize that place. Otherwise, it's a breeding ground for bacteria. I'm unsure if this is a place we'll continue to go. No we don't have a dog lol, but we do love coffee and Brewhound Dog Park serves them, and they are excellent! Not to mention they also serve other beverages such as locally sourced craft beers, wine on tap, and specialty canned beers. We were trying to find a coffee shop that we haven't visited and I remember I saw Brewhound in Instagram. I checked Yelp to make sure we can go in despite not having a dog. Thank goodness it was fine! Hubby and I ordered their cold and hot latte. Both were very good. It was a nice place to relax and just watch the cute dogs playing. We come multiple times a week I definitely recommend getting one of their membership passes even if you just go once a week it pays itself off within a couple of months (we go 2-4 times a week) and it paid itself off the first month. Great drink selection from coffee and tea to alcoholic beverages. They do plenty of events and we've made some doggy friends. My favorite dog park in Jacksonville! They have "rufarees" people who are working in the park who can break up dog fights. They always where a leash on them so they can pull the dog off. Well, after hearing this song on the radio this past weekend paired with my inaugural visit to AB's newest dog park, all signs are leading to BrewHound Dog Park + Bar. *THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST PLACES I'VE EVER BEEN TO* Tickled me impressed. I'm blown away with the build out, attention to detail, and the overall efficiency of this operation. There's a lot that can go awry at an ambitious dog park / bar combo, yet everything was perfect. More importantly, our pup LOVED the space! A few takeaways: 1. Annual memberships are available. Don't feel like committing? It's $8 per dog for entry. (Humans are free) Dogs over 11 months old must be spayed or neutered. Vaccinations must obviously be up to date. 2. There's a tiny fenced-in area for small dogs and a massive playground for the more adventurous and larger dogs. Ruffarees are in full force wearing bright red. Dog pads, hoses, toys and the space to run around safely and comfortably. Curry made so many new friends! 3. The bar aspect of BrewHound wasn't half-assed either. Hell, I would've settled for PBR tall boys and cardboard coffee. But no, BrewHound implemented a full on Bold Bean Coffee program and sells the finest local beer in Jax, served in Mason Jars, of course. My final takeaway is this: BrewHound Dog Park + Bar is an incredibly special business that will be supported by the loyal Beaches community. However, they are going to make waves throughout the entire state of Florida if not the entire Southeast region. They spared no expense and the end result is truly magnificent. I love Brewhounds so very much! This is absolutely my favorite place to take my dogs. I have been working with dogs for pretty much my entire life and generally speaking, avoid places with large gatherings of animals. Despite everyone's best intentions, dogs are dogs and it is common for them to not get along. This place is great because they have staff in with the dogs who seem to have a clue and make sure things stay civil before they become an issue. I have also really enjoyed the people I meet there. This is a great group of people who really love dogs! They often have rescue events and other events to support local groups that help animals. I try to make as many of these as I can. This place is CLEAN too! Imagine the amount of dogs doing their "business" there and yet, it doesn't reek like a lot of places. I have the nose of a bloodhound and odor is often the first thing I notice about a place. I appreciate the effort they make to keep the grounds clean and free of stench. I am not the biggest beer fan, but I have found a few things from here that I really like. They alternate the options and there is always something new to try. They also have a coffee bar which is great, especially for early morning visits. The cost is very reasonable. It's quite a ways for me so I don't have a membership but the entry fee is easy to do. This is an awesome dog park! My dog is only 27 pounds but he loves the big dog area. The rufferees keep the yard clean and safe. My only issue with this place is that it is now $10 for a day pass and my dog is usually worn out and tired within 45 min. I wish they gave you a pass to come and go as you pleased for the day, I would take him in the morning and again at night. The memberships seem like a great deal if you go at least once a week. Luckily I live close and the atmosphere makes it worth it alone compared to other dog parks. The place tends to be pretty busy even on week nights and it can stress me out trying to find my dog in the crowd. This is a great place to relax and meet other dog owners which is a huge perk! The drinks are delicious and shockingly there is never much of a line to order. It seems like a lot of people like to bring their own chairs and hang out for hours but I've enjoyed standing and sitting around where I can throughout the yard. BrewHound dog park has been one of our favorite places to go in Jacksonville. I have a corgi who is 25 pounds and he does really well in their small dog area. The small dog area is usually pretty quiet, however, on the weekends there are lots of furry friends to play with! You have to have a membership to go in the yard, which is the area where the dogs can play off leash. The large dog yard can get a little rambunctious but the ruffarees do a great job keeping the peace! Outside food and drink are allowed on the patio, but you cannot take any thing from the outside into the dog yard. You can buy beer, wine, tea, coffee, etc. at their bar and take it into the dog yard. We have a blast at brew hound and wish we lived closer year-round to enjoy the park! read more

Do I come here every day to socialize my dog? Yep. Do I get at least a coffee or beer every day? Sure do. Have I made tons of friends? Of course! I do not have enough great things to say about BrewHound. I feel so lucky that it's just a short few minutes down the road! They also have mimosas and canned wine which have been known to do me dirty. Its nice that the area is fenced in and its all turf so when you bring your dog, they don't get dirty. It's a great place to get your puppy socialized! My dog has been stepping out of his shell to meet new dogs and he plays for a little bit! Afterwards he'll start laying down next to me when he's had enough. The employees regularly break up dogs that are starting to get too aggressive. They also clean too after dogs poop (though that should be the owner's responsibility). Meeting new people is also great. There were a lot of people who came up to meet my puppy and offered some great advice on training and diets. The bar area is great too. It's a rather small selection, so I would like to see that improve in the next few years, but it's good now! When walking up there's a dog food truck that has a great selection of snacks and more to choose from. There are games by the bar area, so those who are staying outside of the dog park can do their own thing as well! Brewhound also holds plenty of events. Last time I went there, they were doing a Smash Bros Tournament for people! I love going here! They should open another one near Bartram in the future! read more
