Popped in for a couple of drinks while a friend was in town for his birthday. Our waitress was great. Everyone's drinks turned out perfect. They were playing some great music too. Definitely recommend Flask & Cannon for some good drinks.

Came here for trivia night on Thursdays and it was packed! Very fun and the drinks were delicious. Good service too for a busy time.

Stopped in with friends for a holiday cocktail and a pizza before an event close by. The bar was vacant upon arrival but quickly filled with other patrons seeking holiday cheer. We each choose different drinks off the holiday menu. We chatted and watched the bartender skillfully mixing our drinks. Our pizza arrived in no time and was delicious! Flask& Cannon has always been one of my favorite craft cocktail stops! Cheers!!

Co-located with V Pizza, this was a great place to stop for a cold one on a hot day in Jax Beach. The pizza looked good but just wanted a drink. Carol went with the Aperol Spritz and I chose the Aardwolf BPA. The bartenders were friendly and this looks like a good place to try later in the day for Happy Hour. The place a a nice feel to it - like a beach bar at the Jersey Shore?

I sure don't get to the beach very often cuz I didn't even know flask and V pizza were here. I'm so glad to stop in and do a meet up with some friends. Enjoyed the bartenders and service was good and they had a holiday spirited menu.. They had coquito, which made me very happy!

Can't go wrong with happy hour all week then happy hour that goes on ALL DAY on Sunday Funday! Sweet cocktail menu. Quite extensive. Awesome deals. And they have V pizza right next door and connected to order food! We came in a Sunday night so we had some delicious $8 painkiller cocktails and a Manhattan. We then ordered and devoured the delle Donne chicken pesto pizza with ricotta. Drinks were bomb. Pizza was also bomb. Great service. Lovely ambiance and location. Will be back the next time we're at the beach.

I can't believe I had never been to Flask N Cannon before! We got to try their drinks at the Yelp High Stakes Soirée and knew we had to check this place out! The bartender was wonderful and very attentive. I loved the tiki vibe at the bar. The Denzel Whale-ing-ton was very refreshing and I loved the fatness of the passionfruit. The flamed absinthe at the end was a nice touch!

Amazing cocktails & Delicious food! I dropped in on a Friday evening after work for a quick work week wind down with a GF and fellow elite. It was as busy as you can expect on a Friday night. Nearly all of the tables were full, but I quickly grabbed a table near the windows, perfect for people-watching. Our server quickly wiped down the table and took our orders. We both ordered the Don, which is a tequila-based cocktail, not too strong or too sweet. The perfect way to wet our palate before our food arrived. I ordered a 5 piece of cryin Hawaiian wings that remind me of a Caribbean jerk with a hint of sweetness. I also ordered a whole Carnivora pizza with leftovers for the next day in mind. Unfortunately, they did not sell the pizza stones at this location, which is the preferred method of reheating this wood-fired pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection, like lick your fingers good. Thank goodness they leave a roll of paper towels on the table. This was a great way to jump off the weekend and an amazing location for beach lovers!

Located on the West side of North 1st Street, is Flask & Cannon. It's a large place with plenty of table seating and seems to be best known locally for its innovative cocktails. For food, the main item seems to be pizza and varying bar foods. However, some seem unique like their Calabrian Chili and Cryin Hawaiian wings. And the fact that they have a very good Bolognese done with a San Marzano tomato sauce, makes it an OK place for lunch or nibblings. As it has no open-air bar or dining, and is not on the beachside of the street, it usually doesn't get overcrowded. But. As it has a lot of four to a table seat, even with a good crowd there is usually plenty of room to be comfortable. I didn't try any of their food but what I saw and smelled seemed good. I did have a couple of cocktails that were nicely made without any skimping on the booze.

Escaping the rain, during Springing the Blues Festival. Grabbing a drink to go with the weather - Dark & Stormy. Hehe I like the fact that we can eat (V's Pizza) and have a lovely adult beverage as we wait. Great place to meet, drink, and eat. Thanks!

While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

In the room right next that one they have more seating and a couple of games and seating area. The vibe was super fresh and super surfy. Should have been plenty of time as the restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday at 5:30 PM. (Feb 25, 2026) We sat at the bar thinking that would be the fastest service especially with three bartenders working and hardly any customers. However, it took 10 minutes for one of them to look up from all the "very important tasks" they were doing and acknowledge us. When the bartender with the backwards cap and Jaguars shirt finally took our beer order and gave us menus, we made it known we had a concert to go to. He served our beers and said "no problem." We ordered immediately when we got our beers. It was "Wing it Wednesday" so we ordered the special. Five wings and fries. Should have been no problem to get our food in a timely manner. We had 45minutes left to eat. Then we waited some more, and waited and waited. Three bartenders and not even a glance our way. Why? Because they were all too busy chatting with this gal and her "date" especially our server. We might as well have been invisible. We finally got the attention of one of the other bartenders as our server had disappeared. (We were now down to 20 minute eat.) He acted confused as to why we were calling him over. I'm guessing it wasn't his "section" . I also am guessing we were the rude ones for interrupting his conversation with the young woman and her date. He checked on our food after we said we got to eat now! He thought that meant we wanted our food to go. Not sure why. We finally got our food with 10 minutes left to wolf down our meal and pay the bill. The wings and fries were good which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. But it's wings and fries. Can get that anywhere. Suffice to say is we will Not be eating at Hoptinger's again. A customer should be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience that cuts into staff's social time. And never make us feel like you're doing us a favor when we patronize your place of work. That's a sure way to a bad review and a loss of a customer.

From the Queso completo, Mexican street corn and the carnitas tamale rojo that was perfectly paired with a pickled flavored jalapeño made the dish alive and tapping with flavor dancing on the taste buds. I asked the server to surprise me between three dishes I couldn't decide from. Dom, you're amazing; kind, courteous and you really know how to make an everlasting impression so effortlessly. The star of the show was the whole grilled yellowtail chef's special with a tamarind ponzu sauce that he chose for me! I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.
