He has always been great and I have nothing bad to say about him. However, he just sold his practice to a big company and like any change of this nature, in my experience, the parent company is focused on maximizing profits. I had a mole removed during my last visit and, as a cash patient, I always pay for services rendered at the time of the appointment, the full bill. I did so as usual at the end of my last appointment, and that was it, or so I thought. Surprise, surprise. I just got a bill, more than two months after my appointment, for "lab services" from the parent company. So now they are going try to bleed their patients by nickel and diming them. I'm not putting up with that crap and they have lost a patient. If you are in need of a dermatologist, do yourself a favor and find a local doctor who hasn't sold out to a big corporation. I came in for a consultation to discuss a full-body scan and possibly Botox for TMJ, but instead of a professional and supportive conversation, I was met with judgment and rudeness. She told me my face looked "messed up" from prior Botox injections, saying it was "too many units." Regardless of her opinion, there is a far more respectful and constructive way to communicate that kind of feedback. She was also very pushy about sunscreen something I'm already aware I need to be better about but again, the delivery felt more lecturing than helpful. To make matters worse, when it came to areas that needed a biopsy, she did not take the time to discuss it with me before pulling out a numbing needle and preparing to proceed without my consent. I expected a consultation where I could openly discuss my concerns and options, but instead I left feeling judged, uncomfortable, and unheard. Respect, communication, and patient consent are basic expectations, and unfortunately, they were not met here.
