May be great for others, but not for autistic patients. I can understand if he is not educated in this area, or does not have experience enough. But he called CPS on us after 2 appointments that were very unhelpful. CPS was better to autistic patient than this doctor! He was clearly unqualified in THIS AREA. He may be great for others, as some reviews suggest. We went to him as CASH patients b/c of reviews here & because he took new patients in person (rather than covid era Zoom appointments). But for autistics specifically. No. No. And NO. We also did not get called into appointments on time. No apology of course, and no overtime in our appointments. Unusual handouts given at first appointment, that hinted at his own bad experiences with patients and/or their insurance. Other therapists and doctors have welcomed questions & calls outside of scheduled appointments, but not Dr. Bello. He also couldn't/wouldn't prescribe med's that would last even one month, or until the next visit with him. My regular physician found this odd & I'm still not sure the reason he did this (or was restricted to this). read more

My teenage daughter had her first consultation with Dr. Bello. He was very calm, understanding, patient, listened to both of our concerns, answered all questions and was very informative about his treatment approach. My daughter and I both felt very comfortable during the visit and I walked out of the appointment feeling confident in our treatment plan and in Dr. Bello's expertise. read more

Horrible. Never go here if you've ever made an error. My son had his first appt and I had his appt down for an hour later than what they had us scheduled for. We arrived and they told us we would have to reschedule, no problem. They called me 30 mins later to tell me they can't reschedule and they doesn't want to see my son because we were an hour late. Dr. Bello is an incredible child and adolescent psychiatrist. He uses excellent clinical judgment and takes time to understand the roots of behavior. He is compassionate and non-judgmental. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Dr. Bello is the best. After long searching for a good psychiatrist, I finally found one who took the time to understand my history. It's so common for doctors to rush through appointments just to get to the next person but Dr. Bello doesn't do that. He's very smart and very good at communicating. His office also does a great job!
