**BEWARE** Do not use this facility unless you have a personal assistant/nurse to stay with you at all times. Our family member was admitted to the Brian Center on a Thursday night and we moved her to another center the following Tuesday (which was not fast enough). Neglect on all scales, ie nursing, personal hygiene, interaction with staff -rude/unprofessional, etc.. We are in the process of filing a report with the State of GA for their neglect, unprofessional, inept $hit hole they run! I wish we could score the review a minus one, but no such options! This facility is considered an Emory collaborative facility -Emory needs to reevaluate and remove their name! BAD, BAD PLACE!!!!! read more

*** THIS PLACE IS A DEATH SENTANCE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE****! I don't normally leave reviews but this place is exceptional. My Father in-law was sent there (the family didn't Choose) for rehab. He was there 9 days (we weren't allowed to visit) before we could rescue him. We found a long term that went to get him. He passed out when they tried to move him to a chair. 911 was called, He is now at Canton Northside. He is severely dehydrated, He has a huge cut on his shoulder, skin and meat hanging off of his heel where it's slashed open, He has blisters on his feet and a thick film inside his mouth and on his teeth and lips. He has lost at least 20 pounds in 8 days. Keep in mind, before he got here he was not able to get up on his on, so there is no way he could injure himself like this. He cannot even speak now. ***This place is a death sentence***! They should not be allowed to operate. We were lie to by the staff , including social worker. ****This is an absolute nightmare***! We will be reporting them to everyone that will take a report, including legal action. **** Do not under any circumstances send your loved one to this hell hole***! read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! This place is seriously the worst ever! If you're not watching their every move or managment isn't there watching their every moves residents will be neglected by the nurses and CNA's! read more

This is a dump!! The stench is beyond pathetic and the food is the worst I've ever seen ! I had a dry chicken breast with canned gravy and instant potatoes for lunch and dinner was inedible crinkle cut fries with rubbery piece of fish that looked and felt like play food ! It was horrible! The best thing on the plate was a plain piece of wheat bread straight out of the loaf! I am appalled at the wretched condition of this place that totally take advantage of people who live here and have no one to speak on their behalf. I am here for rehab & there is no one to speak to until Monday . I am so stressed out at the conditions here that I am actually getting sick to my stomach ! The toilets have tissue paper all over the floor& funky stuff on the walls along with the fact that there are no locks on the doors! This facility is a health hazard ! read more

My mother in law succumbed to stage 4 lung cancer while under Hospice care at the Brian Center. I have nothing by phrase for the staff. Those folks are good at what they do and made her comfortable ( as well as the rest of the family ) till the end. These are special people. I couldn't do it. God bless them. read more

worst place ever!!! do not go here! 1 nurse per the whole building they are horrible and don't care. they left my dad in a diaper for over 24 hours, said they tried to help feed him his food was not touched. i had to call 911 for my dad the nurse said he was fine the emt said no he wasnt. the nurse told me i couldnt call 911 my dad was there 2 days and they did nothing to help him. you push the call button and no one comes they need more staff to help them the company doesnt want to pay for any more staff. horrible place if you love your family member dont send them here they will not get the care they need! and they lie to you on the phone. read more

My Uncle was placed here from the Hospital on Saturday, 9/24/2016. He has a type of cancer that has left him with a gaping wound and exposed bone over most of his left forearm and another over 1/4 of his head. These wounds require powdered antibiotics daily and the dressing on his forearm requires changing daily. As of yesterday evening, 9/27/2016, the bandage had not been changed during his entire stay and no antibiotics applied. He has had this blood and infection soaked bandage on since Saturday morning. He is so weak that he can barely get out of bed and certainly cannot take a shower and he cannot have water beating down onto these open wounds. They tried to make him take a shower on Monday but since he could not, they just have not bathed him. He has not been bathed since Friday, 9/23/2016 at the hospital. I reminded who I thought were two nurses on Sunday night (it turns out that one of the women was actually the Nursing Home Administrator) to change the bandage and it was not done. I reminded a nurse on Monday night to change the bandage and it was not done. I reminded the same nurse on Tuesday night to change the bandage and confronted her about why it had not yet been done and was given the excuse that it was not on "her list of things to do" and therefore not her responsibility. My concern is that if The Brian Center can neglect such basic and medically necessary needs even when they have a family member prodding and reminding them, what are they neglecting with these patients that is not so obvious and who do not have a loved one in there each day to check behind them? We will be moving my Uncle as soon as I have made arrangements for in home care and my advice for anyone looking at this place for a loved one is to keep looking. read more
