He is severely dehydrated, He has a huge cut on his shoulder, skin and meat hanging off of his heel where it's slashed open, He has blisters on his feet and a thick film inside his mouth and on his teeth and lips. He has lost at least 20 pounds in 8 days. Keep in mind, before he got here he was not able to get up on his on, so there is no way he could injure himself like this. After I refused they abruptly deleted me from their platform. They have collected all of my sensitive documents. Here it goes the next day Harrison(owner) texts why didn't you show up for your shift I'm like what shift? Vanessa didn't call me text me or anything like she said if she wanted me to take a shift. I would think if it's an urgent matter, you need someone the next day you would make sure you spoke to the person before you telling anyone I was going to do the shift. Nope! The owner Harrison calls me to talk about the situation then says look like you haven't been on our app is 11 days sir what does that have anything to do with this situation basically after they realized they messed up they tried to say why haven't I looked at the app in 11days lol joke right! You did hire me for PRN? I pick up shifts on the app when I can and if you contact me directly I'll pick it up If I don't have a client that day. Im not sure what he don't understand about PRN or maybe he was just frustrated that he was under staff. Every member of the staff I encountered treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. My room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The Environmental Services staff did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless. On the first morning of my stay, my wife immediately commented on how clean the room looked--something she had never said during any previous hospital stay. The staff thoroughly cleaned and dusted the room, mopped the floor, and even changed the trash bag even though it was barely full. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also noticed a small device under the sink that I later learned was a Synexis air purification system. It operates so quietly that I never heard it, but I was impressed to learn that it continuously helps improve air and surface quality by generating a safe form of hydrogen peroxide. It was reassuring to see Northside Hospital Cherokee investing in technology that helps protect patients from the spread of germs. The food service exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of menu choices, the meals arrived on schedule, the portions were generous, the food was served at the proper temperature, and every meal was exactly what I ordered. Hospital food often gets a bad reputation, but that certainly wasn't my experience here. My discharge process was one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Nurse Brenda made sure my wife and I had everything packed so nothing was left behind. She asked my wife to bring the car around to the entrance, and within just a couple of minutes I was on my way home. The entire process was efficient, organized, and stress-free. The highlight of my stay, however, was the nursing staff. Their compassion, professionalism, and positive attitudes made all the difference. Brenda and Elizabeth cared for me during the day, while Nancy and another night-shift nurse--whose name I unfortunately cannot remember--provided excellent care overnight. Every one of them treated me with respect and kindness, and they always seemed to have a smile on their face. They should be highly commended for their dedication to their patients. If I ever need hospital care again and have a choice, Northside Hospital Cherokee will be my first choice without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made my stay such a positive experience. This is a huge hospital out in the mountains of North Georgia. I had…read more heard good things about it, so I felt comfortable checking in for my outpatient surgery. Staff was friendly at the check in counter, and I did not have to wait too long to get signed in. I had already spent 50 minutes on the phone for the preoperative interview. The preparation for my surgery didn't take too long either. The nursing staff was very friendly and professional. The Anestesia Doctor did his job, but he was not extremely personable. To him, I was just a number. However, my Doctor Karen Buhariwalla was amazing. She explained what would happen in the upcoming procedure, and made small talk to make me feel confident, and relaxed. After the surgery the dismissal process was easy. Noone wants to have anything to do with a hospital, but if I ever have to, I would chose this one.
