I was in contact with their sales department and spoke with a nice woman who explained I had to first make the down payment for the entire wedding before we could even discuss available dates they had for the engagement shoot. I made the down payment approx $1,700. I signed a contract (e-signed) and I was told the contract would be available to view in my client portal (it never was) We then scheduled the engagement shoot and met the photographer at a local park. After the shoot he informed us it would be a few weeks for the pictures to come back. Two weeks later I heard nothing from the company and I reached out. I was told it usually takes 3 weeks. The third week rolled by and I heard nothing so I reached out again. The woman who coordinated everything told me our photos were next in line and to be edited. Another week went by and I heard nothing from the company. I reached out again and the woman apologized repeatedly stating that she had been texting our photographer all week about the issue and he had not been responding. She explained then that she reached out to Brian (the owner) who was shooting a wedding at the time. She explained he was very disappointed that this happened and he was going to edit the photos himself for us the following day and that he was going to "take care of us" by maybe discounting our wedding or tossing in a free service. I want to state our issue was not with the amount of time it was taking to get the photos back, as we know it is a busy season for the company. Our issue is that the company went silent after the shoot and gave no updates whatsoever. If they had said it will take 2 months that is ok, but at least let the paying clients know they haven't been forgotten. My fiancé was very angry with this however I decided to give them another chance. I even inquired about doing another engagement shoot for my sister and I because she is engaged as well. We received the photos the next day. They were nice. Brian emailed me and asked if everything was ok and I said yes because I thought he was going to discount for us like the coordinator stated he would. That never happened. Still willing to give them a chance and then one night on the knot I noticed the other profiles for the company. I saw 2 negative reviews under one profile I hadn't seen prior. Again, negative reviews are not upsetting as no company is 100% perfect. It was the way Brian and his company responded to the reviews that made me completely horrified of trusting these people at my wedding. In one of the responses to the negative review Brian named the husband and wife by their first and last names completely exposing their identities. He also stated in his response some embarrassing moments for the couple on their big day for the public to see. I was horrified a business owner could respond in such a cruel manner. Despite if the review was accurate or not there's a way to handle it. I asked to cancel my booking and they denied a refund. Brian stated the money had already been distributed to the photographers to hold the date. It's a year in advance they have plenty of time to rebook the date. My mother ran into Brian at a wedding expo and she made a comment to him about denying a refund of $1700 that is now drained from my already limited wedding fund. She also mentioned the review responses and he said he's a person that is "eye for an eye" and too bad because I already signed the contract. As a business owner he can refund the money but won't because it's all about money for him. He does not care about people at all. Do you want someone at your wedding with the mindset of "eye for an eye" to justify publicly humiliating clients? Needless to say as much as he stood by what he had done I later went back to those reviews and he has now edified the original responses! How is he going to say he's done nothing wrong but then cover the tracks? I know I won't be seeing my money back but I want to advise you all there are so many wonderful photographers out there, do not settle for anything less! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Brian Delia and Yan, who was the photographer for our wedding at the Madison Hotel on July 1, 2016. I first found Brian through a search on The Knot and decided to go check out his beautiful showroom in Clifton. From the moment you walk inside you know you're going to be dealing with people who have a keen attention to detail and a flare for style. Once we started talking to Brian, we were instantly at ease because of his willingness to listen to our questions and his desire to accommodate our needs. Every meeting and subsequent emails that followed thereafter were always incredibly productive and even fun, since Brian is very honest and funny. Because of my style preference (documentary/candid), he recommended Yan for our actual day, and I could not be happier with the choice. Yan showed up to the hotel early and and did everything he could to get us all the shots we wanted and some really interesting shots we didn't know we wanted. He was not above almost laying on the floor to get the shot, and that kind of dedication did not go unnoticed. He was very present but not intrusive, and it got to the point where I did not even notice he was around, although I still knew he was there. He stayed a little bit later to make sure we got our perfect night picture outside the beautiful hotel, and did not rest for one second. I cannot say enough good things about how personable and professional he was, and how happy we are with Brian and the whole gang and Brian Delia photography. We absolutely LOVED our experience with Brian Delia Photography. We got married this July 2017, and our photographers, Jose and Tomasz, were amazing. Their photos are beyond beautiful! The never ending story with Brian, and not happy one. It started, when he cancelled our contract for photography and dj services 24 hours before the wedding, and 4 months later Brian filled a civil suit against me, claiming I should pay him 60% of the contract value (the contract that he cancelled in the first place). Don't worry, Brian had to dismiss the case because it had no legal grounds, and in fact Brian breached one of the clauses himself. To give some background, under the contract Brian required final payment to be made one week before the event. I sent him check in time and notified him (the check never arrived-thanks to the post office,or maybe Brian lost it himself and claimed never seeing it). In any case, I was willing to pay anytime, but Brian didn't reach out to me until two days before the wedding, demanding the payment same day plus fees. The contract allowed for cash payment on the day of the event, and I asked Brian for that option. But instead, he cancelled the contract next day, even after I asked him not to do that. To say that he totally ruined the wedding, is to say nothing. 30 thousand dollars down the drain. Thank you, Brian. read more

Brian was the very first vendor we booked for our wedding day. He was such a pleasure to work with since the very beginning. He answered all our questions and always addressed any concerns we had. Brain and Gab did our engagement pictures and we created our Save the Dates through them as well. Gab was so helpful during this process and helped me along the way - I immediately loved them and received so many compliments from our family and friends. We booked our wedding day photography and videography through Brian and was so excited to have him on cinema and Gab and Yan doing photos. The morning of the wedding Gab arrived and met my bridesmaids and I. She photographed us all getting ready and then Brian shortly arrived once he left my husband with Yan taking pictures of the groomsmen getting ready. During the wedding ceremony we never even knew Brian and his crew was there. They were so quiet and you never once heard a clicking of a camera. Brian, Gab, and Yan captured beautiful photos and amazing live footage of our wedding ceremony and reception and could not have been happier or more impressed with how everything came out. Brain even worked with my husband to incorporate our engagement day video into our wedding trailer! It was so special to be able to come in and watch the video with my husband and Brian for the first time. Of course I cried when watching it and Brian videotaped my reactions! Many people say they often don't watch their wedding day videos, but I can honestly say I have watched mine at least 5 times already and we have only been married for less than 2 months! We would HIGHLY recommend the wedding video addition - it captures all the moments of your wedding day that you may not even know were happening! It came out absolutely perfect and I cry each time I watch it. Overall, working with Brian Delia Photography for the year leading up to our wedding day and on our wedding day was an absolute pleasure. They made sure to capture all the wedding day poses we wanted and the pictures are a true keepsake. They will even give you all the wedding photos, trailer, and wedding video on a flash drive for easy accessibility and transport. Thank you to Brian, Gab, and Yan!
