I was a patient at Brian Dental Care for several years. I warn you now: save your money. I've spent a significant amount of money there, and every crown is having major problems! I was told it was my fault - it is not!!! All my crowns have thick edges that allow bacteria to get under almost all of them. They put in a new crown that didn't fit right; he said I'm going to have to take it out. It'll take 5 to 10 minutes. It popped off in seconds as soon as he touched it, and it had been in my mouth for less than a month. My new dentist went over every crown and found leakage issues with all of them. The new ones are smooth and don't have that large ledge at the bottom. The office and dentist claims crowns should last five years. What are they doing? They've charged me for everything, saying my insurance doesn't cover anything. But my new dentist billed my insurance, and it covered about 75%. I have the same insurance, by the way, as I did when I was seeing them as a patient. The work done was similar to their work. Why did no one look at my insurance to see what was covered. They are paying and have paid for my new crowns and dental work. When I tried to get reimbursed, I found out they'd put in everything, and I got $1,000 back, but they wouldn't reimburse me for the dental cleanings I wasn't supposed to be charged for because they never checked my insurance. When I commented about not being reimbursed, she said, 'Oh, you've already paid for that.' I know I've already paid for that because you're not reimbursing me, and I'm not supposed to be charged. I should get that money back, but they claim no!! I sat on this for a while because I didn't want to be harsh, but l'm the one paying for all this, and I'm the one in pain. I'm the one whose crowns have popped off after less than a year. Their prices are outrageous. Other dentists charge a lot less and bill your insurance. BEWARE, that's all I can say. Ask them how long they expect their crowns to last. I had one for 26 years with no issues or cavities that I replaced. How is that possible? read more

Brian Dental is great! I actually came in for a second opinion and now I will be a regular here. Dr. Kim is very kind and knowledgeable making sure I understand everything. The front office staff are so welcoming and kind, they really go out of there way to accommodate your schedule for appointments. Dr. Lee is absolutely amazing she is not only a master of her craft but so kind and her soft voice and calm nature is so reassuring. I never felt more than a pinch when having my dental work done. Dr. Brian and his whole staff are so sweet, honest and caring. And I wish that he was my dentist when I started to have cavities, many moons ago. Both locations are very clean. The staff are efficient and most importantly they take my insurance and always give me a clear explanation of how much would be my out-of-pocket expenses. Another visit to the friendly staff of Dr. Brian and crew! They never disappoint.. from the calm welcoming as u enter a stressful environment of getting ur tooth/teeth worked on to actual chair time with very explanatory instructions and guidance of saying 30 seconds or 1 minute longer instead of almost.. almost.. almost.. to the end explanation of what was done and what i need to do specifically to take care of my teeth that was worked on! I wished I took pictures of the clean almost pristine parking area directly in front of the office, the clean and organized waiting room and even the sterile bathroom.. I have always feared Dentist, until I met Dr. Brian and Cliff. From the first visit they had me at Hello! The consultation was great, very informative and it set me at ease. I have had several procedures performed at this location since October. I did my research and checked reviews prior to my visit and I am proud to say I chose the best Dentist in my area. Dr. Brian walks you through the entire process. I love the way he handles the procedure, he keeps an open line of communication through each step. He informs me of the next step and this allows me to remain calm and trusting him through your the procedure. He is caring and shows that by the way he performs. I am very comfortable and can communicate well with him. Cliff is an amazing assistant and we have built a trust and that makes my visits very comfortable and more relaxed. I highly recommend Dr. Brian and can comfortably say he has been doing an amazing job with all of my procedures. Wow! Just wow is all I can say at first! :) From the appointment making, to the service I received myself and to the kindness my daughter receive during my appointment. It was all phenomenal. Brian dental is a wonderful dentist office that I would absolutely recommend. Oddly enough, I only found them through needing an dental implant and through a Groupon. But I am so happy that I have found them. They offer a wonderful first time patient deal for cleaning, which I was able to take advantage of. While getting a two hour cleaning, my daughter was given wonderful little toys and a beautiful playroom to stay in. She has autism, and the women in the front were so Caring and kind to her that it made the experience that much better for me. as a mother, who is not able to take care of herself, because all I do is take care of my daughter, these dental tax, secretaries, and dentist themselves were so kind yesterday it made the process absolutely amazing for me. I really enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned and X-rays here. I am a university student and my insurance covers the cleaning and the office is on my way home so it was very convenient for me. My fiancée and I recently went to Brian Dental for exams. I used my insurance my wife had to pay cash for the exam. She actually works in the dental field and asked to have her dental x rays that she already paid for and has the legal right and the HIPAA and privacy rights for these records. She paid her hard earned cash and for the creation of these records. When she requested a copy this practice wants to charge another $50 just to have a copy. This is not a common practice and if you read California law records are typically .25 to .50 per page of records. Please please there are so many dental offices that are honest and don't hold records for ransom so do not let this office get away with treating us in this manner. I would give negative stars if possible. read more

Another dental office told my husband that he needed deep cleaning and some other unnecessary procedures, and he went to Dr Brian for second opinion. Dr. Brian said its not necessary and saved $$$ from another dentist. We feel Dr. Brian is honest and sincere with good bed side manner. Cliff, the hygienist is also very good too.
