Mr. Abate was very prompt in getting back to me for an estimate. I took off the day from work to let him see what needs to be done and he arrived on time. After the initial visit, I thought I would get an estimate in a few days, a week at the latest. However, I got no estimate. After a week, I emailed Mr. Abate after the holiday, thinking that it's a busy time for families and to take that into consideration. He replied, stating that he would get the estimate to me the following day. I told him to take his time, thinking that another week would be the maximum time that I would have to wait. Unfortunately, it's been about a month, and I still haven't received an estimate. I didn't bother reminding him again because I can take a hint. That's fine, if you don't want to do a job, just let the potential client know, so we can find someone else. I wanted to get the paint job done before some medical considerations and even getting to this point was a big deal for me due to some health issues, but I will have to delay a new paint job for a few months now because of the delay in getting the estimate back.

Anthony sent Eddie, who showed up exactly when he was supposed to, was incredibly nice (even to our overly-friendly dog) and got the job done perfectly and within record time. We had friends over for drinks the other night and my husband kept wanting to show them his beautiful new bathroom. Oh yes, and the pricing on this job was extremely competitive. I told Anthony I would happily be a reference for his company. We'll be sure to contact him the next time our entire place needs repainting.

I hired Jorge to put in vinyl/PVC porch railings for my front porch and my side porch. The…read morerailings had to match existing side rails on the front porch (these were the rails going down the stairs). The side porch was made of pavers, had no railings and looked trickier. Additionally, I wanted a shelf on/near the railing - this is the porch to go to the patio and BBQ grill. Jorge did fantastic work! It looks terrific. There were many tricky aspects to it and he conquered all difficulties. I felt the price was fair - he was definitely not the cheapest quote I got, but I had followed up with references who raved about him - and I can see why - he did very good work. That said, he could have been a better communicator - I would have liked a written proposal and I wish it had not been me to follow up with him on "are you coming today" - however, he had had an emergency in his family so it may have been just that. I very much recommend Jorge for porch railings. Plus - added bonus - he's a really nice guy!

They also did a great job in repairing some subpar drywall work that was done by the original contractors. While in the process of painting the walls, we had casually asked Jorge if his team also did trim work. We had been contemplating doing the trim work ourselves but Jorge's price quote was extremely fair and competitive, and the work was done very well. Jorge was easy to work with and accommodating of our schedule. We will be definitely be using Jorge and his team for future projects.

They showed up a day later then planned (which they said might happen when they scheduled us, but like I say, good communication - I didn't mind!), and each day they arrived exactly when they said they would. Our painters were Matt, JD and Mark. Really nice guys, very courteous. Then it slipped that I like noisy rock music and we jammed for three days - I even burned Matt a couple CDs, he was that cool. The guys had great concentration and went over their work to look for flaws, and believe me, when they left it was FLAWLESS! I also appreciated that Phil the owner dropped by to inspect the work. We had them do five rooms and the price was quite favorable compared to other contractors we called. We found them on angieslist.com, which we had to pay for. Another reason to get more people yelping.

He quoted me and explained he was very busy for the month of May. This was fine. He told me that if he could not do the month of May 2023, he would do the first weekend of June. This was a standard conversation, knowing the demand in Spring. After that conversation in the beginning of May, I got *zero* communication from them. No updates if May would work or even confirming the first weekend as promised by Alex. It was complete radio silence. When I say radio silent, I mean completely ghosted by a contractor. Ultimately, I texted Alex asking if he still wanted the job? He finally texted back stating he was was too busy and could not do the job. I waited weeks holding out for this company when I could have found a painting company that could do the job in a timely manner. This has been a horrible experience with this company.

He was knowledgeable on the subject and he said Kevin would be sending a quote. i did get quotes from other companies and we settled on Naperville. They were very accommodating on the dates that we needed the work done by. The day that they were to start, Kevin asked for a deposit. The company wrote a check to Naperville Painting and Epoxy. Kevin called and stated that the bank bounced the check back because it should have been written to C&C painting. He came back and gave me the original check back and assured me that it was not cashed. Our bank said that it was. he took a picture and it was deposited. Kevin kept assuring me that it was not and that maybe there was a hold on it. The associates that came out did a great job and worked hard. The job was finished and I asked again about the check because the money was not back in the account. He told me he was working with the bank on it. Long story short, i paid the rest of the money without with holding the original deposit. I know, foolish me. Since then he stopped taking calls and emails. it was always one excuse after the other. Kevin knows that the money is owed but now all his voice mail is full and the Naperville phone number always bounces to his cell. I fell for the SCAM and still have not received a response. TOTAL SCAMMER. KEVIN SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.
