They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and have always provided excellent care. They've been a huge part of our family's life, and we're incredibly grateful for them. Unfortunately, something has changed on the administrative side. Over the last several visits, there seem to be new fees for everything, and it's become shockingly expensive just to receive routine medical care. It feels like every appointment comes with another unexpected charge, which is frustrating and disappointing after being loyal patients for so many years. What made our most recent visit even more frustrating was arriving early for our 11:15 appointment to find the office practically empty. Despite that, we were told that although they knew our appointment was at 11:15, my daughter wouldn't be seen until 11:30--even with only one patient ahead of us. It's hard to understand why appointments are running behind when the waiting room is nearly empty. The doctors are still exceptional, and this review is in no way a reflection of the care they provide. My concern is with the administrative side of the practice. I hope management takes a hard look at both the increasing costs and the scheduling because it's becoming much harder for long-time families like ours to continue coming here.

And all the anxieties that come with being a (first time) parent, are welcome. There is seemingly no delineation between staff roles, everyone lends a hand, and does so with such kindness and grace. And their efforts show also in the interactions we've had with other patients and their parents. Everyone seems so kind and accommodating. We are seeing Dr. Jeremy (Shapiro) but have interacted with 3 other doctors when coming in for quick weight checks. I cannot suggest one over the other. Every time my kids got sick and obviously needed antibiotics, they would beat around the bush and give some random unhelpful med to make sure we have to come back and they can bill for another visit. Very aggravating that at the end I just would argue and demand antibiotics. For three years they tried to have pay their BS office membership and I always ignored it. When we called the office asking for an emergency appointment, they were able to fit us in right away, which meant so much to us as worried parents. When we arrived, Dr. Honey was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and reassuring. She cared for our daughter as if she were her own and took the time to thoroughly examine her and explain everything to us. Dr. Honey prescribed medication for our baby, and within the very first day we noticed a huge improvement -- her eczema and heat rash had already started clearing up. We are beyond thankful for Dr. Honey and the care she provided. It's such a relief knowing our daughter is in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!

She was very interactive with my baby, making her laugh throughout the appointment, and I could tell she genuinely connected with her. Not only did she take her time checking on my baby, but she also checked on me as a new mom, which meant so much. She truly comes across as a sweetheart who cares deeply about her patients and families. The office itself is very clean, which is always reassuring. The only thing that left me a little disappointed was the front desk experience. The receptionist didn't seem very friendly or welcoming -- no smile or acknowledgment when we walked in, which feels especially important in a pediatric office. He has been a calming and positive part of our family's life since the day our son was born 4 years ago. Being first time parents, Dr Irwin always takes a moment to ask about us. How are we feeling? How are we getting along? My husband recently had dental surgery and was still recovering when my son came down the flu. While in the office, Dr Irwin noticed my husband's discomfort and took a few extra minutes to talk about what he was going through. A doctor is only as good as the support staff and this one is top notch. Every single interaction we've had with the front desk staff has been 100% positive and helpful. If Dr Irwin isn't available to see our son when he's sick (though, quite often, he is available) the other doctors we've seen in the same office are caring and thorough and put us and our son at ease. The on call nurses who are available to talk to us over the phone have always been very informed and great communicators. We even visited with an in-house lactation consultant here. The office itself is clean and bright and stocked with entertaining items for the kids. The front office is 2-sided - one side for healthy kids and one side with its own entrance for sick kids.
