I will start off by saying my first impression of Dr Smith's office was not ideal. I felt very rushed, very talked over and felt like our questions we asked were annoying him. I was a bit nervous as to how things would go on the actual day of service. I have a teenage daughter that suffers with anxiety bad, she needs to be told what's going on play by play. So as the day arrived for her procedure I was quite concerned based on our treatment at our consultation. Day of surgery was very stressful, on a level of 0-10 her anxiety was a 20, I explained to the nurse that my daughter wasn't going to handle this well because of this. She was amazing and spoke calmly to my daughter and did her best to ease her nerves to no avail, my daughter was disrespectful, rude and I was very embarrassed by her behavior. As it progressed my anxiety grew with worry because of my first impression of Dr Smith when we had our consultation. To my surprise he was patient with her and did his absolute best to assure her this procedure was going to go well. He even called us later in the evening to check on her. Her follow up appointments weren't quite as bad, however she was still pretty anxious, each check up they were patient and kind. I would definitely recommend them for their quality care and work. This is a busy office, it's ran efficiently. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I did feel that the receptionist when she called us the prior to our appointments she talked to me very condescendingly. When we checked in she wasn't much better when she was directing us to fill out the paperwork. She definitely could use some better people skills. If you're not looking for a cozy atmosphere or making friends here then this place will be great. read more

Wow. Terrible experience. Made the appt 3 weeks prior for a wisdom teeth extraction consultation. Took my daughter out of school for the appt. Had XRays and referral form sent over from dentist. Called 3 times to make sure the office had what they needed. Friday before the appt, I called to confirm and was told that their system was down and couldn't verify if they had the XRays or if they were readable. Was told they would call me back and let me know. Never received that call and went to the appt. Woman at the front desk is in desperate need of a new profession. Disrespectful and rude. Especially because they received XRays that they could NOT read and we had the nerve to show up for the appt. Not only that, she questioned our insurance and hammered home the fact that it wasn't covered 100%. Yes, we know. It's called a Consultation to talk about procedure & cost. Wondering if it was the same chick as the review from Kara E from 11/18/2018 or they just can't find a professional receptionist. "She sort of talked over me and claimed to have never heard of my dental insurance company before. What really got me was that she scoffed and laughed like I was making it up?" Yep. Same exact experience. Left the office - didn't even stay to find out how the rest of the "show" went. Unacceptable. read more

I didn't get a chance to find out if this doctor is worth going to because my first impression with the receptionist on the phone was pretty lame. She sort of talked over me and claimed to have never heard of my dental insurance company before. What really got me was that she scoffed and laughed like I was making it up? You could laugh AFTER you've put me on hold. She never asked me to spell it in case she was not hearing correctly either. First impressions go a long way. This was one of the few dentists (oral surgeon) in my area that accepts my sons insurance. He had 3 impacted wisdom teeth, and both the consultation and operation appointments were bumped up to a sooner date, which was extremely appreciated. Nice workers in the office and plenty of plaques and credentials about Dr. Smith, who is s very pleasant and compassionate man, who did a great job on my son. We are pleased we ended up there. read more

Amazing! Dr. Smith and his staff did a fantastic job at keeping me calm and comfortable through the entire process of having my wisdom teeth removed (a procedure that I had been DREADING) I was so surprised at how smoothly everything went. In addition to that, everyone was kind and compassionate in answering all of my questions, and keeping my mind at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend! read more

Very poor attitude towards patients. Staff was nice but Dr. Smith himself was very snotty didn't listen to anything I had to say and doesn't realize I was referred to him, I didn't choose him myself. read more

Dr Smith is very kind and patient. I had a tooth pulled. OUCH! But he made it not nearly as painful or stressful as it could have been. He knew I was pretty nervous, and kept reassuring me and coaching me. His staff is super nice and made the entire experience as positive as I could have ever expected. Dr. Smith also did not add additional unnecessary services--as many other specialists tried to do. I would highly recommend him! read more

I went to Dr. Smith sometime ago as recommended for an extraction of a molar. He came in and I told him that there may be an issue with a tooth next to it, I notice the night before the appointment. He said and I quote, "You waited till now do spring this on me!" He was very heated and he left. He came back with the numbing needle, and I am terrified at this point with due to his lack of control. He administered the medication and it was very little as I didn't feel much numbness, certainly not for a major extraction. He might has well gave me nothing. He comes back in telling me that it didn't need to be extracted after all, apologized for his behavior and I left. I would strongly recommend not teeing this guy off, he just may make you pay for it via your mouth. His unprofessional demeanor and lack of temperament should seriously be considered when choosing this dentist/oral surgeon. read more

My experience was exceptional. Marty one of the clinical assistance call the day prior and answered all my questions plus more. The day of my surgery I met Tracy at the front desk she had a nice warm smile which was great because I was a little scared. They then called my name and that's when I got really nervous Marty the clinical assistant that call me the night before and started prepping me. She did an exceptional job of hooking my RV up just a little pinch she says and it was just a little pinch. I asked more questions and between Marty and dr. Smith's kind words I was a little more relaxed. They were about to start and Cheniqua was now in the room. Cheniqua looked at me with a warm smile and rub my head until I drifted off Chenuqua made me not scared at that point :) All went fast and apparently I like to swear when waking up :( Despite the embarrassment on my end; the staff was still kind and I was able to leave shortly after. I have experienced no pain within the last thirty five hours. I am grateful to have had such a wonderful team, you all are great thank you once again! read more

My dentist referred me to him to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I decided to be put to sleep, knowing I didn't want to be awake for the procedure. Long story short when I woke up in was n a little pain but not much. By the time I got home I was in excruciating pain I called up the dentist office and they told me not to worry about it it was normal but what they fail to tell me after my procedure was that when he wiggled out my tooth that a piece of my jaw bone came through my gum, but he said that was normal. A few days had went by and I still was in a lot of pain. I called his office up and they said he could see me. I explained to him I was in alot of pain, could he up my dose of meds, as well as my jaw really hurt. He told me no to the meds, I was lucky he made time to see me, cause he was so busy. (he only saw me for like 5 min) he gave me a syringe to clean my teeth, and sent me home. I then called up another dentist who saw me the next day (hudec) he upd my medicine, gave me medicine for the swelling of my gums, and a prescription for medicated mouthwash. He also took 5 min out of his busy day to help me. I was actually able to sleep through the night on my new meds, n was actually feeling better the next day. I was very impressed with them, and truly regretted going to Dentist Brian's office after getting such good care from the other place. Also dentist Brian smith office called the next day saying he looked at my x rays, n wanted to c me. I would of thought he would of did that the day I came when I was near tears when he told me I was lucky he saw me. Please check out other places before going to him, go to someone who actually will care about you and your well being, and take the time out to care about your needs. And not rush to get you out of the office. read more
