I contacted Brian initially to ask how much he charges to replace a toilet flapper. He quoted me a reasonable price and assisted me in trying to find the toilet flapper. Unfortunately, nobody makes the flapper and the toilet company went out of business (I called around myself to confirm this). This means I had to replace my whole toilet. Brian quoted me a reasonable price to put in a new toilet, and even worked with me to find a replacement over text messages in the next few days. Brian's supplier, unfortunately, didn't have the toilet I was looking for because I was very particular on the toilet I had to get due to the layout of my bathroom so I had to order the toilet online. Needed Brian's help for the second time in 2 years. Had leaky faucet under my kitchen sink. The leak appeared in a Friday and he was on vacation until Monday. He was able to come Monday afternoon as promised. Took a look under the sink, diagnosed my problem and made a trip to his favorite plumming store for a part that was not usually in stock at big box hardware stores. He came back, replaced the leaky section and my leak was fixed. He also gave me excellent advice about why you should not jam all kinds of products, rags, etc, under your sink where there are pipes, garbage disposal, electrical stuff. Jamming stuff under the sink runs the risk of actually damaging and disrupting any of those connections. Best to keep it clear, with minimum products, sponges and stuff. Brian was a true professional. Called around to get quotes on having my water heater replaced. First few calls seemed to be ridiculously high, $1,400+. Called Brian and got a very reasonable quote over the phone. He was out within 2-hours to assess the situation, and confirmed the price, same as it was on the phone. No gimmicks or run arounds, etc. I thought the water heater was about 10 years old, he showed me the manufacturers plate that it was installed in 1992. I told him then I wanted the same type of water hearer, since the old one lasted 22 years. He had three other jobs that day, but guaranteed he would be back first thing in the morning to do the job. Brian and Bob are amazing troopers! For their initial visit on Monday they spent the better part of the day digging in the front yard to install a clean out and to rotor the main line ($600). After which they determined that we had a broken sewer pipe under our house... which came with a nest (or as Brian said, "palace") of roaches in our crawl space. (Ew.) They returned today (Wednesday) to replace the sewer pipe under our house (which was broken in two places - double ew!!) and spent nearly all day under the house with roaches crawling ALL over them! Flat out, Brian knows his stuff. We started him off with a sink drain which many had tried and failed to fix. Other plumbers provided estimates with hefty price tags and no results. Brian goes under the house, diagnoses the problem accurately and within 30-45 minutes running water with no clog. He did a garbage disposal replacement in under an hour and it's running great. It was Christmas morning, I was taking a shower and all of a sudden I noticed my toilet gurgling and the shower backing up to almost flooding the bathroom. Being Christmas morning, I started to panic because I did not know what a plumber would charge me on Christmas day if at all one would come. I was referred to Brian by a friend. Brian did an amazing, efficient job changing out a toilet in my condo. I'd called a number of other plumbers and not only did he have the best price by a long shot, he also had a great can do attitude that I appreciated.
