Our 6 year old loves doctor Anna and Brian. Everything about this place is great. The dental…read moretechnicians are super friendly. The rooms all have a different theme - Nemo , animals, Disney princesses, etc. They give the kids sunglasses to block out the bright lights, they hand out dental goody bags which includes stickers, floss, paste, lip balm and a toothbrush. Dr Brian has original vintage TMNT all over the office from when his own kids were little. My little guy was sent here because he has a super sensitive gag reflex. The staff finds out what the kids like and they talk about it the whole time. When they have to stick him with a needle Dr Anna shakes and jiggles his cheek so that he's distracted. On his first visit they took a picture of him and we got it about a week later and it was matted on a frame "my first dental visit" and a dental report card. This place sends you appointment confirmations via text and phone and email. I do email and text and its a few clicks to confirm. Super easy! The waiting room has a fish tank, sensory board, egg-shaped lounger chair and about 3 TVs with kid friendly play station games.

I admit it has taken me some time to write this review. We came to this practice in November after…read morebeing referred for a tongue tie. I drove over an hour for the consultation as we live out of state. The office is very nice and up to date and the front office staff were polite and helpful. However the trouble started after we were taken back for our appointment... The girl who took us back first observed my son taking a bottle. She said "Oh, he doesn't look like he has any trouble at all!" I explained that he does do better with the bottle however we were having trouble nursing and had been having trouble since birth and he was clicking as he nursed (not fully latching). I said we were referred for a tongue tie and possible lip tie too. She also commented on his weight that there likely wasn't a problem because he wasn't "low weight." (My son was a big baby but he was born at 9lbs 2oz and had lost over one pound in the hospital and had slow weight gain after. His pediatrician had expressed concern.) I explained the situation and then she took a look in his mouth. She said she did see a lip tie but not a tongue tie. I told her that he clicks when he nurses and asked her if that was caused from the lip tie... She said no that's usually characteristic of a tongue tie... So I said "but he doesn't have a tongue tie....?" and she said no... I said then why is he clicking when he nurses? Her response was "I don't know." I asked her a few more questions about the condition and my son to which her response was "I don't know or I don't really know what to tell you." Then she gets up and states she is going to go and ask the doctor what he would like to do and she'll be back. When she returns she states that she reviewed the information with the doctor and he would want to do the lip tie if we want it's our decision. Note that she did not take any pictures or anything of his mouth and the doctor has NOT evaluated my child. I asked a few more questions to the assistant who "really couldn't answer them" At this point I was all done. She goes "So do you want to do the lip tie today or not?" And of course my response was NOT! 1. The doctor never came in throughout this entire consult and last time I checked only a doctor can diagnose a condition and formulate a treatment plan. 2. Why would I let a doctor that can't be bothered to come in for the consult laser my child's mouth? 3. If I have questions and you don't know the answer to them the correct response is "Let me get the doctor for you since I don't know the answers to your questions in relation to: this condition, your child's diagnosis and the procedure." NOT "I don't know" I left and I was fuming!!! I took him to another provider who identified 5 ties in my son's mouth. Both lips, TONGUE and buccals. He carefully reviewed my son's history with me, examined my child's mouth, took a mouth camera and showed me the ties on the television screen. We discussed everything in detail (as you should when you're talking about putting a laser in a newborn's mouth) We had it done and my son has nursed like a CHAMP since. 100% difference in nursing experience and I am still nursing him at almost 8 months old. So not only was this a bad experience but it was also misdiagnosed here as a doctor never evaluated my son. We will never be back.

I love this dentist! My family and I have been coming to Dr. Greene's practice for many years now…read more I've moved several times and I still make the drive all the way back to Norwich for them -- they are worth it. The office is immaculate and decked-out with the most up-to-date equipment, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, everyone is transparent about prices and insurance coverage, and Dr. Greene himself always seems to be up to date on his research, implementing some sort of new technology or method. I am a bit of a science nerd so I'm always asking questions throughout each procedure and he is always more than happy to discuss and explain! Also, all of the hygienists are superb. I always have Ali when I come in for checkups and honestly, it feels like I'm just coming to hang out with a good friend (who just so happens to know how to clean teeth)! She's super friendly and caring (somehow she always remembers the last things we talked about six months prior), and so gentle when working, which I really appreciate. She is fantastic! I have had some very negative experiences with dentists and hygienists in the past that sort of scarred me for life, and I always dreaded going to my check-ups. I can honestly say that I feel so comfortable at Dr. Greene's I look forward to my regular cleanings (and I could probably fall asleep in the chair). Highly, highly recommend!

After receiving sloppy and subpar dental work from a dentist in another town that left me in pain…read moreand with filling falling the same day they were done, I reached out to Griswold Dental Associates on relatively short notice for a consultation. From the moment I walked in, the ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful--setting the tone for a truly positive experience. Dr. Katzoff saw me quickly, assessed the situation, and immediately offered reassurance that the issues could be fixed--and that I wouldn't have further problems once they were properly addressed. I chose to wait about a week and a half for my new insurance to take effect, and then I returned to have the work done. From the moment the procedure was completed, I could tell it had been done right this time. Fillings that had previously fallen out were replaced and felt completely normal again. A more serious issue with a molar in the back--something that had been causing sharp pain when chewing--was also corrected. The pain is now gone, and the poorly done fillings were fully and properly replaced. We were also on a tight schedule, as my family and I were preparing to leave for vacation, and the office went out of their way to accommodate us. I'm genuinely thankful for the professionalism, skill, and care shown by Dr. Katzoff and his entire team. I look forward to returning regularly for cleanings and continuing my dental care with a practice I trust.

Dr Fontini and her hygienists are amazing with children. Everyone in the office are happy, kind…read moreand gentle. It is obvious that everyone who works here loves children. I brought my son here for his first dentist visit. They couldn't have been sweeter to him. I already made his next dentist appointment with them in six months. My only constructive criticism is that the main lobby looks like an adult dentist office. I actually wasn't sure I was in the right place when I first got there. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

After answering the phone with a kurt "hi" I was promptly asked "do you have insurance". I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. Its a shame, I wonder if the dentist know this is how their patients are being treated.
