Michelle is incredible! Best deep tissue massage ever. She found places in my back that I never knew existed. I became a new customer today.

While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. Melissa was so extremely patient and kind throughout every interaction. I feel like this made such a dramatic difference in the life of my (then) nine year old, that took her from a trembling mess of fear over everything and the worry that terrorists would break into our home at night to a carefree child once again more concerned over turning cartwheels and twirling frilly dresses.

Greeted by Linda she gave me the tour and explained how the session would go. My very own private suite. infrared sauna sessions with contrast therapy (cold plunge) and Vitamin C showers. The sessions are typically 60 minutes in a private suite equipped with a TV, sound system, I opted to watch Tubi customizable lighting, with amenities like towels and toiletries provided. I received 2 cold press towels one with lemongrass and the other with lavender. They had other selections, juniper and eucalyptus. They suggest you bring a water bottle for hydration.. leave it empty because they have a Bevi water dispenser, you can get Get still or sparkling. flavored water and even electrolytes. I filled my bottle with still cucumber lime water.. so Refreshing. I tried the cold plunge it's sooooo cold. But you are only supposed to do it for about 2-3 minutes I could last 5 seconds. The vitamin C showers are refreshing after the Sauna. They provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Linda set the timer and I made sure to keep a eye on it. After session.. I did a infrared session for my face located in the front lobby area. ***My only down.. the area to blow dry hair is in front lobby. I wanted to do my makeup, I was heading to lunch after. I didn't feel comfortable applying makeup while other guests were coming in and waiting to check in. Maybe if they provide a partition to give a little privacy. Plenty of Parking located in Vining's Jubilee plaza. Right next to Orange Theory. I will return.

There is no expiration date listed anywhere on my receipt or email confirmation, and I was never verbally informed at the time of sale that the sessions would expire after six months. The studio was then closed for several months for renovations, which significantly limited my ability to use the package. When I contacted the studio about using the remaining sessions, I was told they had expired and would not be honored. When I asked for documentation showing where the expiration policy was disclosed, or how sessions were extended during the closure, they could not provide anything. Instead, I was repeatedly told "all packages expire" without being shown where that was stated. The only solution offered was that I purchase a new package in order to attach the expired sessions. What made this experience worse was how rude and dismissive the communication was. My questions were met with curt responses, blame was shifted to me, and I was essentially told that if I wanted to leave a negative review, they "could not stop me." There was no effort to explain clearly, take responsibility, or resolve the issue professionally. This was extremely disappointing customer service and poor handling of a legitimate concern. If you buy a package here, get every single term in writing, because if there's a dispute later, you may be met with hostility instead of help.

We signed up for a family acct. One our first visit, we used the pool. The lifeguard informed me…read morethat our children had to take a swim test is they either (1. wanted to swim without an adult/parent in the water with them) or (2. wanted to be allowed to swim outside the arms length of the parent/adult). I was in the water with my 8 & 11 year old children because I feel like it is the responsible thing to do when you take your children to a pool regardless of their swim capabilities. I allow my 11 year to attempt the test for fun. The lifeguard wanted them to swim the length of the pool which my children can do. However, the lifeguard would not pass my child because the swim stroke was not perfect. I have personally been a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim team coach for over 20 years. My children know their strokes but I have not forced them to be on teams or swim long distance. Do I want them to, yes. But I have not forced it. My children have good strokes for more than half the pool distance but get tired toward the end and get sloppy but are not in danger. The strokes just don't look as nice as they did. Our children visit our neighborhood pool just about everyday in the summer and swim unassisted with no issues. It is winter and perhaps the kids are a little out of practice in the 4-5 months since it has been warm enough to attend the neighborhood pool but again, not in danger and swim fine. But not competitive swimmers. We were told that my daughter did not pass the test even though she could swim unassisted the length of the pool. So we just tried to enjoy our time in the pool and planned to try again another day. However, then the lifeguard reprimanded me multiple times because my 8 and 11 year old swimming children were outside of an arms length of distance from me. Again they swim on their own, and I am in the water with them if they need me. The swim test expectations are too high and I now understand why there were no other families there on a Saturday afternoon. The swim test expectations are too high and the lifeguards to strict on their arms length rule for families to enjoy this pool. Again, I have been a lifeguard, instructor, and swim coach for 20 years so I have a solid base of knowledge with which to make this assertion. I attempted to connect with YMCA on this via email. My email was forwarded to the Aquatics Director and I have not received any response. We are planning to cancel this membership as our children cannot go and enjoy the pool because the rules are too strict and I understand this industry better than most. With rules this strict, the lifeguard is really a waste of money as they basically don't allow children in the pool and only adults may swim. I would still love a response but If I do not get one, we will continue with cancelation. Good luck if you have children and planned to use this pool.
