It took us a while to find the place - tucked between Caribou and Verizon, it is practically unnoticeable from the road. We even pulled into the parking lot and left, because we didn't see it from the car. But I'm happy we did another loop and found it- it was absolutely worth it! The scones were fresh and delicious, cookies and absolutely treat (chocolate with sea salt and dates with nuts), and bread was perfect for sandwiches. We also saw them selling at the Saturday market in Northfield park and there was same delicious selection of goods, and lots of locals buying freshly baked goodies. Highly recommend and would go out of my way to stop by here again! read more

A perfect little sunny breakfast nook right by Carleton! We decided the main attraction here is the quiche Lorraine. 10/10! The parfait was also great. We wouldn't order the ham and cheese crossaient again. The banana muffin was pretty good (with some saying it tastes more like banana bread in muffin form). I had a double depth charge to go. They were quick and the coffee was good. Not bitter and sereved at a good temp. The place smelled great and I would love to try some of their baked goods. Northfield is in need of a great bakery. The baked goods are just ok here. Biggest gripe is the actual layout. You never know who is in line. Huge bottle-neck by the door. Always seems to be way too many people barely working. Food is overpriced for what you get. It's difficult to know what kind of bread will be made until you get there. Would be nice to be able to order bread so you are not disappointed after going there. The actual ambiance is pretty dull. Not a place for younger than 70 Ok, I tried this place again and had to leave before buying anything. Slowest service in northfield! Unfortunately covid-19 will test the strength of a lot of companies. We'll see what happens... read more

This was the worst French Toast I have ever eaten. It was dry, hard, tough to cut. It tasted like the cinnamon roll it was made from was days old. We observed another table sawing through theirs as well. I'd never go there again. read more

We are visiting from California and didn't have any idea where to go for a quick meal. BOB id a small place that makes ALL their own baked goods from SCRATCH ! Excellent homemade baked goods especially the PECAN ROLLS, and everything they make is really good. No chemicals, just fresh good old fashioned ingredients. We came here two days in a row to enjoy Quiche, great coffee, turkey sandwiches and to buy baked goods to take home today. For gifts to take home ask about frozen items. We bought several blueberry lemon breads and they suggested taking frozen ones which was a great idea. The interior is new not really cozy but come here for the food and bakery, you will not be disappointed. MUST VISIT! read more

I really like this place and its products in just about every way. I've been a customer for years and even had a standing order for one of their breads. But they have one MAJOR problem that continues to challenge my loyalty: they can't seem to keep from slicing the loaves I always quite clearly ask when ordering to be UNSLICED. I really can't understand the lack of employee control, communication or respect for the customer that is behind this. I stopped my standing order and went to only occasional buying until an employee told me one day that I could order online and specify that the loaf be unsliced - and that this would guarantee that when I came to pick it up, that's how I would receive it. I ordered two loaves online for pickup today and specified in the details area "UNSLICED PLEASE!" They were sliced, once again. Management was apologetic as usual, (for the nth time), and gave me one loaf free to tide me over until the next run on Thursday; but this has become more than just tiresome. Get your act together BOB, Puh-LEASE! read more

Not only the best bakery in Northfield (as others have mentioned, the caramel rolls are excellent, but I also love the toast sampler for Sunday brunch), but the go-to place for coffee and lunch. They always have a local light roast coffee option. Drip and pour overs both fantastic. Service is great, and it's a nice clean, sunny place to hang out. read more

It's been a year and I still dream about these pecan rolls. Nowhere I've been since has remotely come close to the way the bread part of the roll has enough texture and bite to hold up to the thick gooey pecan-caramel topping. Many of the other breads and cakes they make are also delicious with great texture, and everything always tastes fresh, but those pecan rolls, man. read more
