Bricks and Minifigs is a phenomenal LEGO store in Albuquerque! New and used sets, LOOSE LEGO ELEMENTS (my favorite), and one of only a few ways you can buy minifigs and animals on their own! Locals and visitors LOVE this place! They host birthday parties, they've hosted our adult fan of LEGO club's Christmas parties for years, they've done brick built lego car races (in June). Looks like a great place to buy and go for birthdays but DO NOT sell your legos here. I had multiple sets of original Lego sets before a revamp and they said they would give me 30% of each sets original value. They offered me $40. 20% of one of the sets was around $50. It's cool to know we live in an era where the Geek isn't just accepted in common culture, Geek is celebrated, marketed to, and plundered for every red cent they can shake out of their piggy banks. Geeks virtually own the box office; Hollywood would go broke without a smattering of summer superhero blockbusters. Harry Potter tats are acceptable hipster currency and c'mon, who isn't psyched about another Star Wars movie? Geeks storm local pubs for trivia night and hey, they might even drink. Some of 'em, anyway. If you got a problem with this, just remember that without Geeks, that there cell phone you're holding wouldn't exist. My inner Geek was founded on the Thundercats, I discovered my heterosexuality when Jabba the Hutt did the pre-pubescent population a huge favor and enslaved Princess Leia, and my favorite four-letter word, even as a grown-up, remains L-E-G-O. Bricks & Minifigs knows that a five o'clock shadow and a Prius doesn't make me any less of a child; if anything, I'm desperately trying to recapture that inner kiddo, which in my case means indoctrinating my offspring in the art of little plastic blocks. Forget a baseball game; give me a few hours building spaceships and castles with my daughter, and my work is done. This awesome little shop devotes half the real estate to builders. Huge trays of pieces await the inner-architect; Thursdays are devoted building sessions, and you can rent the place out for birthdays and special events. On top of that they offer some kewl sets, specialty figs and collectors pieces, everything a Geek like me could want for pure Lego ecstasy. So go on with your bad self, hop in your TARDIS and transport yourself to this rockin' little strip mall shop. Everything is, indeed, awesome. read more

Our city is better because of this business! I'd love to have an official LEGO brand retail store, but this store buys and sells new and used LEGO sets, often getting amazing deals or amazingly rare sets. You can buy loose LEGO elements, and a big plus for parents, kids and collectors is that you can buy individual Minifigs! They also do great birthday parties. They have hosted our adult fan of LEGO group, NMLUG - the New Mexico Lego User Group tons of times. This is a great place to visit, especially if you or your guests are from out of town! read more

I love this store! The staff are so helpful! There are complete LEGO sets for sale and individual Minifigs, but the thing that impressed me most was the endless containers of speciality LEGO pieces- we had a LEGO ship missing various specific pieces, compasses and a mini dragon and even sails, all of which they found in their various boxes! And all really reasonably priced compared to online prices. A must visit! read more

LEGO overload! What a fun and cool concept for kids and adults! Bricks and Minifigs is a franchise that sells and purchases LEGOs. There are tables filled with hundreds of LEGO's people parts, kits and collectibles (they have all the Simpson's, Sponge Bob and Star Wars characters). Also, they offer really affordable able and unique idea for a Birthday party (5 years+)! I had my son's birthday party and we could choose from various characters, we asked for Pokémon theme. In the private birthday room, there are three tables, one for food, the kids to play and for the adults table. There is a lego making wall where the kids can create their LEGO imaginations, then they built their own Pokémon Go Gyms, then race car time! They have a cool track that the kids could build LEGO cars and race them! The tracks have a timer to see who came in first, second and third. We recorded it in slow-mo, so much fun! They gave us about 45 mins for food, cake and presents (you have to bring your own food, plates/cutlery, napkins, decorations, etc). All the detailed info is on their website. Only thing is that the party host (has a lm eye brow piercing short brown hair) was very rude and obviously did not want to host. She didn't even know my sons name and made one up three different times as it was amusing to her. At the end of the party she yelled out "Yeah! I get to go home!" She was rude and unprofessional for sure. So, please ask for who your party host is so you don't have to experience that. I've been to other parties with different hosts and it was incredible! read more

We are on vacation in Albuquerque, NM when our son saw Bricks and Minifigs on a tourist map. He was so excited to find a place full of his favorite toys including hard-to-find sets and mini figures. Right away he found his favorite minifigs and bought them with his own money. The store is well-organized and prices are fair. This was definitely a hit! read more

5/5! Friendly and helpful I bought a UCS Star Destroyer from these guys in October. The owner was really awesome for letting me put it in on lay-a-way. When I purchased it in October, I found out that about 20% of it was glued. I called and told the owner the whole story and he was more then willing to replace the parts. He was even willing to replace parts that didn't belong on the set. It took a while, but the owner came through and got all the parts replaced! Everyone at the store is so nice and willing to help you. I can't wait to go back for parts and sets! thanks a lot Bricks and Minifigs! You Guys are the BEST!!! read more

My grandson's favorite store !! Who would ever have imagined you could have a store that specialized in new and used legos? When he gets birthday money that is where he goes. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys or collects legos. Great selection, a 'make your own' lego character, and a facility to hold parties. Albuquerque is lucky to have such a store !!! read more
