The store is set up perfectly for young LEGO fans: lots to browse, plenty to explore, and a layout that keeps them entertained while they dig through parts or admire the displays. I'm a big Lego fan and so are the kids. We're normally spending the weekend sitting down to a bucket or two of Legos and building or building a set we just picked up so this place has been on the list to visit for a while! It's tucked away in the corner of the shopping area so you might miss it...but it's worth looking for and going in. So much Lego goodness. First off, the store is clean and laid out so well! I love the loose Lego and minifig bins to buy extra stuff or build your own. That alone could be hopes and hours. Then there's the fact that the store is grouped out by Lego subject (ie the Star Wars area, where I spent most of my time!) so it's easy to go and see your faves from what you collect. Or in my case, just see and learn what's even out there. I love that they have TONS of minifigs to buy from each subject. You can buy prebuilt Lego sets and items and they have new in box stuff to buy too. And the prices are really great. Last but not least the staff was amazing. It was great to be able to talk and nerd out over Legos with them. And their knowledge is out the product is awesome. A great place for kids, and big kids, to go!!! read more

Horrible experience. We went in to use our Get Out Pass (formerly Pogo Pass) and were immediately met with disdain. Every question we asked seemed to bother the staff. It's hard to understand that attitude in a business centered around children; neither worker smiled or engaged with the kids at all. To top it off, we later found out from the pass provider that this location is no longer a vendor, a detail the clerks failed to mention. We will never be back here! read more

Several of my grandchildren enjoy building with Legos. A younger one recently had his birthday party at this location. The store is located in the back of a smaller shopping area not far from Lakeline Mall. Parking can be a bit tight, as the spaces are rather narrow. The birthday room is located at the back right of the store and there's limited space so it's not suitable for larger groups. An attendant monitors and directs the children's activities. During the 90 minute party, the children built and raced cars (up to 8 at a time), built their own little figures as party favors (2 for each child, 3 for the birthday kiddo), and had pizza, beverages, and cake (all brought in from outside). I was told that the party was very reasonably priced. The store has a great selection of Lego kits and lots of assembled figures to look at. It was very busy on a recent Sunday afternoon. If you or your children are into Legos, this is a place not to miss! read more

This is a really cool store to get Lego sets and even get random Lego pieces! The display pierces around the store were spectacular. We came here to get some mini figures to take on our trip to Legoland in a few weeks. We wanted the kids to have some random pieces to trade when at the amusement park. At 3 for $12 you get a full mini figure with hat/hair and something to hold in their hand. I also heard they were setting up for a birthday party in the back which sounded really cool too! read more

I love the big bins of Lego pieces. This is a great place to find Lego pieces missing from any sets you have. Or if you're just looking for some extra building blocks, this is the place to go. They also have boxes of specific colors (blue, grey, black, etc.) of Lego bricks to make it easier to find what you are looking for in the specific color you are looking for it in. They have tons of Lego mini figures and an extremely diverse variety. I'm sure you'll find one, or several if you're me, that you can't walk out of there without. They have new sets too and many used, and sometimes retired, sets. They'll even break down the built used sets they have if you want when you buy them. That way you can have the fun of building it yourself. The customer service here is as epic as their Lego collection. read more

I was aware of the store's strong posted requirements for accepting used sets. I made a $175 purchase for a Super Mario Question Block piece. The NEW item sold in stores at that time (October 2024) for just under/at $200. Because of their posted requirements, I felt confident that what I would buy would be a complete set. It was not. My Super Mario super fan for years was able to point out no less than 10 missing pieces from the set. The "discount" I got from buying this was so minimal, I would never recommend buying any set from this store in the future. The store also has a strict policy of NO RETURNS/NO REFUND for used sets. I should I have been more keen to "pay" attention to THIS policy as a marker/indication of the value of their used sets. They simply cannot be guaranteed. However, the thing is, I would not be issuing a 1 star review if I had been privy to the missing pieces, that while small, are significant to a fan. It also makes me wonder if the store didn't actually re-sell those special pieces (because 8/10 were very special pieces) whether on EBay or elsewhere. They are in the reselling business, so not too hard to make that conclusive jump. Whether or not that is the case, it seems that the store puts the product together piece by piece when they purchase used sets. This is either implied from what I've observed when I have frequented the store or was on their posted policy. (I cannot recall the second, but do recount the first point.) Whatever the case, I do not recommend the store as their resale product did not meet their own policy sell-back. read more

My son took a 20 gallon bucket of legos into this store and they gave him 100 for everything. I was not there and he was trying to do something on his own as a young handicapped teen and they took complete advantage of him. Shame on you! Rare legos, thousands of blocks, books, sets and miniature characters.... Easily $2000+ worth of legos. This store is run by child predators that are ready to take advantage of your children. Had a great experience stopping by on the weekend a few weeks ago. There was a birthday party in the back and several shoppers in the main area and even so, the owner found time to welcome us personally and make sure we had help if we needed. They have a great walk-through setup of bigger Lego builds so you can see all the details up close. If you buy a set, they can break it down for you or leave it together if you choose. We attended the annual Brick Rodeo in Austin, this weekend. A 10% off flyer was included in our Brick Rodeo program; so, we headed over to Bricks & Minifigs to check them out. Our 10-year-old son was in awe. He built a custom minifig for $5.00, which also included an accessory. He was elated their minifig accessories had more variety than the official Lego Shop's offerings for custom minifigs. My husband and I also enjoyed looking at all their Lego sets. I purchased a few collectible Disney minifigs to complete my home collection. If your family is a fan of Lego, we would definitely recommend checking out Bricks & Minifigs. Ok. If you love Lego, you will love this place. Been to two in The Portland, Oregon area and the one in Austin. They are franchisees, so they all vary, but are generally consistent. Fun. Their inventory is constantly changing, so you never know what they will be carrying. Fun place to find out of production sets, individual minifgs or random pieces you need. Bought some recent Minecraft sets that were almost half off regular retail price. They are used, yes, but they clean everything. Some sets have the box and instructions, some don't. If they don't have instructions, just pull it up online. Easy. They will break the sets down for you so that you can build them yourself. They buy sets and give you cash or store credit. Good about mask wearing and they have hand sanitizer available. The owner and employees are super nice. I have bought and sold to them and will continue to do so. Lego has taken off during the pandemic. This retailer has not jacked up prices or ripped anyone off. His prices have stayed fair and consistent. I appreciate that. read more

We come here quite often with the kiddos. Not only can we buy LEGO in bulk, you can also build 3 mini figures for $10. We noticed that birthday parties were also hosted here and recently booked and had an 8 year old party. It was an amazing 1.5 hour block where the kids were entertained and the adults had a blast. The price was amazing compared to other birthday spots! Hassle free and minimal effort on my end. Each kid takes home 2 minifigures as party favors and all I had to bring in was food. We have been regular customers here since they opened, and have consistently had positive experiences. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we have found numerous retired LEGO sets and specific minifigures we'd been looking for at reasonable prices. We've bought loose bricks for specific projects a number of times and have had staff offer to help us find what we were looking for. My son is 5 and just getting in to Legos. We visited Bricks & Minifigs for the first time about a month ago, so he could look at their Star Wars Minifigs and because we wanted to check out the party room for his upcoming birthday. The staff is SO friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There are Lego sets (new and used) and you can also buy in bulk. It was so fun looking at all of the sets and Minifigs! We had my son's birthday party there and it was fantastic. Very affordable as far as kids' parties go! He and his friends had a blast making and racing cars down the custom ramp. All the kids got to make Minifigs to take home, and there was a staff member helping us with the party the whole time. My preschooler and I recently got into Lego Bricks! I was so excited to learn about this store after realizing how expensive Lego is/can be. We are also fans of second hand toys in general. I read reviews about how strict they are with children being in the store, so was prepared for this, but they were super nice and welcoming. They do ask that when you are looking at their displays of built/used sets for sale, your child stays with you and you don't touch (reasonable). Cassie was so helpful! My child picked out a $70 in box set that I wasn't eager to buy him (too expensive for what I was planning for the day). She helped us find a similar used set that was half the price. I also got some fun plant sets for myself as well as a 3:1 car set from the $20 and under wall. This store is about 25 min from where we live, but we will definitely be back! I also love that they have bins of loose parts, so I can go by myself one day and find any pieces we may be missing. read more

Professional and Courteous Staff - That earned a second star Emailed in with 2 Lego Set numbers that are new in box that I was looking to sell. Was looking for an idea what the offer would be, even a range based on the fact that they couldn't inspect the condition. After two emails they were adament that they have to be brought in first. Drove 20 minutes to the store. After inspecting the sets and talking about the ranges that they were worth (I agreed with this range based on the research I had done) - was offered about 50% of their value. I understand this may be part of their business model. Don't give out quotes via email because maybe the suckers will sell them if they've dragged themselves down in person. However this type of practice to me is a huge waste of my time and energy and I won't be back. read more

Visited for the first time yesterday. Walked through the front door and my first impression was... Shazam!!! :D Their selection of vintage Lego sets is astounding - that's astounding in a good way. The store is clean, well-lighted and nicely set up with plenty of room to walk around and enjoy their Lego marvels. Come on, you know some of these types of stores have a rummage sale, kind of musty-dusty feel to them... not Bricks & Minifigs. My boys and I built Lego sets and original creations endlessly while they were growing up. Even built a ramp one summer and raced numerous original creation cars. My older son still builds the larger sets from time to time. So I found my visit there to be not only ginormous fun but also a tad sentimental. I think I briefly met the owner - very pleasant - and the young man I spoke with for a good while (Ben, I think?) was incredibly friendly, gracious with his time and an endless fountain of knowledge about all things Lego. If you have Legos you want to sell, they buy them - it appears both completed sets and loose bulk. And Minifigs? Yes, umpteen, countless Minifigs. You can buy Lego Minifigs or they have a whole table from which you can choose Minifig parts and build your own. As a bonus, Marble Slab Creamery is just a few doors down. Staff (especially a kid named Ben) and store owner Gary have been rude to me on more than one occasion, especially when asked about any sort of discount, as if it were some sort of blasphemy. Store generally smells bad, the workers don't know what they're talking about, and almost everything there is overpriced. The workers there don't know how to price anything, sometimes they price things way too low and you end up getting a rare 100 dollar or more item for a couple dollars (which I have done many times), and sometimes they try and sell you a 50 dollar mini figure for 100 dollars. I have been to many of this franchises locations, and this was BY FAR the worst run out of all of them, and they can hardly get their cash register to work half o the time. Overall, I recommend skipping this zoo exhibit of a store. read more

Awesome experience! Just got back into legos after...decades away from this wonderful hobby! Wife and I built a set yesterday, and we had to find more so we came to Bricks & Minifigs. Like I said, AWESOME TIME! I could have spent many many hours there beyond the two I did spend. What matters for people reading this is the staff were great, beyond accommodating and helpful. The employee whose name escapes me right now and the owner was very helpful and really put forth the effort to handle their customers and help us find what we needed. The owner never tried to upsell me even though he likely could have pushed me to buy every single figure in his cases, of which there were hundreds. I was looking for "outdoor" foliage pieces and he helped me find what I needed even diving into restock to find stuff for me even though I didn't ask him to do that. My son is to young to enjoy legos besides trying to eat them but they also had a cool event room with a bunch of kids in there having a grand old time and it did not bother me in the retail space. I promise I will be back for more lord of the ring figures and when my son is old enough we will have many an event held here even though it is an hour from our house! read more
