We are in Branson many times a year and are always on the lookout for new places to eat. This came from the parking lot attendant as he was telling us what was new on our shuttle up. We got seated pretty fast, and our waitress was super nice. She heard it was my birthday and couldn't help but be excited about it like we were. We got pretzels to start, they came out fast and were devoured immediately. I'm one who asks what they recommend, so we all ordered based on that. Then, to top it off, I got a surprise apple crisp as my birthday dessert. Ambiance was great. Not too loud or too soft. There is seating on the deck so you can watch the water if you'd like. The Food Was Nothing Short from OUTSTANDING! We started with two appetizers of the Boom Boom Shrimp and the dipping trio. Both were delicious, but BOY o BOY was that shrimp Delicious! From now on we all agreed on ordering Two Boom Boom Shrimp Appetizers because it was that good. I had the fish and chips, hubby had the club, BFF had a veggie pizza and her hubby got the fried chicken sandwich. Every single thing And I Mean EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! We stopped in for a late dinner on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. We requested to sit outside, and they were willing to adjust their servers tables to allow us to sit outside, even though they originally weren't suppose to cover the area. This spot is nice, being able to sit on the water. We got our food order in quickly and our server was fast to get us our waters. The food took some time and we weren't checked on too often. We ordered two pizzas. The combination pizza was great, with a ton of veggies and red sauce. The yard bird was very unique and really good flavors. The style crust was on the thinner side but still had a nice crust. Unfortunately, the center of the pizzas were very soggy and floppy so it made it hard to pick up and eat. We finished off with the apple crisp and it was an amazing combo of hot and cold and very yummy. Didn't think the red really fit the profile of a red and the Hazy was ok but not great. The burgers got good reviews but the Mac n cheese tasted like buttered noodles with a very disappointing chicken on top. The portion was also small for a main dish. The wings were good but not great. Came here to try the outside bar. Really nice set up, seats are a little tight. I started with a blueberry mule and he got a dirty martini. We started with dip trio - this comes with Queso, salsa, and guac. The chips are super crunchy and perfectly salty. For dinner we both had the grilled chicken sandwich which comes on a pretzel bun. I love pretzel buns. The food was delicious. On our second day in the landing, we came here for lunch knowing they wouldn't disappoint. I was excited to try the grill shrimp avocado salad and he had the turkey bacon melt. Both were amazing. The salad looked as good as it tasted. And his sandwich - the bread was probably some of the best I've ever tasted. Sam was our bartender both days - service was great and she makes really good drinks. Bagnel brought us water, the beers we ordered took another 7 minutes (brought by another server), then my quesadilla 10 minutes later (brought by another server), then the cfs 5 minutes after that (another server). Wow, who do we tip? And who is in charge of this place, someone needs a refresher course in Standards of Service! Anyway, I think our original server ought to be a busboy or a dishwasher. I'm sure you've had a hard time getting people to work, but he is hurting your business. For good service, you should have been on a wait, but it wasn't busy that night. Generally, restaurants in tourist areas are lots of money for small portions of so-so food. Not here! We had the BOOM-BOOM SHRIMP and BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH W/SALT & PEPPER HONEY...wow!!! The portions were VERY large, VERY reasonably priced, and VERY good! The staff was excellent, and the manager, Jessie, really knows the meaning of customer service!
