Ok let's review.. my wife and I went to brickyard after months of social media teasing.. they mentioned curry goat and oxtail and I was there.. we went on a Friday at around 4:30 pm ., they advertised a dinner buffet.. $40 per person plus $4 pop.. with free refills.:, The server was good .. she did her thing.. the food was good .. I liked the curry goat and oxtail.. they were good .. my wife had the rest of the buffet.. While there was a decent selection of dishes, the overall taste was disappointing. Many items were under-seasoned and bland, and several of the meat dishes were cold. Mimosas were great. Name a better combo than karaoke and endless wings... I'll wait Endless. Crispy. Saucy. PERFECT. I tried at least five flavors.They kept them coming without even having to ask. It's the kind of place where you forget how many rounds you've had. Staff were chill and quick with the refills (mostly for the wings not so much the drinks). Disappointed. First of all at $ 39.95 over priced for what they offer in the All U Can Eat. Chicken wings over cooked and dry. Ribs were good and sitting in sauce which made it flavourful. Mac N Cheese - Kraft Diner Mac N Cheese, over cooked, cheese dried out. Shredded brisket seemed not fresh and sitting in juice that was too sweet. Went for lunch shortly after they opened for the day. The waitress was very attentive. We ordered a cheeseburger and a banquet burger. Both burgers were very big and delicious. The burgers come with fries (good) and a cup of coleslaw (creamy). The waitress did bring us ketchup with the burgers and asked if we needed anything else, we said we didn't think so. But upon opening the takeout boxes the burger and fries come in we realized we might have liked some salt & vinegar. Oh well, it wasn't the end of the world. I was very excited to try this BBQ spot. I ordered the beef brisket, ribs, and wings with the sauce on the side, rice and peaks, corn bread, and beans on the side. The brisket with some type of jerk sauce had absolutely no Flavor I had to add salt and pepper I thought there would be some type of smoked flavor I don't believe it even sat on the BBQ grill. The wings also no seasoning not even salt. The ribs were also very bland the BBQ sauce was the only flavor on them they definitely did not cook them in a smoker. I spent $103.00 and some cents. Checking out this funky joint in Etobicoke. It's a BBQ joint attached to a Go Kart place? They are currently doing a cool drive thru so you never actually leave your car. So if your afraid of line up in person this is easily avoided. We ordered Ribs, Wings, Pulled Pork and Baked Beans. We used the Pulled Pork on some homemade Nachos. The Ribs were tender sauced and tasty! The sauce is good and the rib isn't overcooked. While tender you get that bite mark effect. I definitely recommend the ribs!! The wings were sauces up in there house BBQ sauce. Tangy sweet and the wings were crispy no breading which is my preference. I would definitely get the wings again. The beans were tasty and full of flavour. The pulled pork was delicious! Especially with some home made Nachos! The pork was tender and sauced up in that house BBQ sauce. I had a dinner for two by Ubereats delivery and it was a mixed impression. I ordered half a jerk chicken and a rack of ribs. The packaging for the fries needs to be seriously fixed, the French fries where absolutely drenched in the box and had to be thrown out. The meats where good but the sides were meh... Beans have no seasoning so they just taste of brown sugar. The coleslaw is bagged slaw mix with Helmans Mayo and no seasoning. The price overall just isn't worth it especially with delivery. Driven by this place and always wanted to try. I finally did and got a full rack of beef ribs. What I got was a bunch of bones and the miniscule amount of meat on it was tough and dry. I could get fall-off-the-bone meaty ribs at most restaurant and for half the price. $40 that is what I paid for the meal. I would not pay $1. What did i pay for? I called the restaurant and was told the manager would contact me promptly. Never heard from them. Who buys from this place? How are they still in business? It was not whether I liked their food or not. There was nothing to like. It was AWFUL. Save your money, aggravation and don't spoil your mood. read more

We always buy from Brick Yard at rib fests because their flavours are awesome. Today, however, was a huge miss. We bought a big platter with ribs, bbq chicken, honey garlic chicken wings, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and corn bread. Most of the flavours were there, but everything so, so, so DRY. Ribs tasted awesome, but they were so dry they were difficult to cut with a knife. Bbq chicken had nice flavour, but it was so dry that some pieces were crumbling apart. Pulled pork was basically jerky. No complaints about the honey garlic wings, but we suspect it's because they're drenched in sauce. The sides were the best part of the whole thing, especially the corn bread. We have to go buy some bbq sauce now to salvage the leftovers tomorrow. I love bbq, however this is all marketing. Ordered the full rack of ribs, half jerk chicken which came with coleslaw, beans and rice. It was disappointing, the best part about the ribs was the sauce. The jerk chicken didn't have any of the flavor you would expect from a jerk chicken. The beans could of been a can of Heinz beans, which it probably was. I got a recommendation from Family to check out these incredibly tasty ribs that apparently are so good they make you do a happy dance. It was a bit out-of-the-way but we came anyway. We checked out the menu in advance but we're looking at the restaurant and not the drive-through. They have a cool little drive-through going. These guys definitely know how to make great bbq. Unfortunately they need to work on their consistency. Over the course of two weeks I ordered the same meal twice, a full rack of pork ribs with slaw and beans. The first time it was fantastic, perfectly cooked, great sauce, a flawless experience. Sadly the second meal couldn't have been more different. The ribs were so badly overcooked the last two ribs on either end were inedible, and the rest were barely chewable. Where the beef/pork? Worst ribs ever, picked a full slab with baked beans and coleslaw. The ribs have no meat just bones and all fat, had to chew and fight to look for any meat. If your charging $25 for a full slab at least have the decency to have decent meat served. The bbq sauce was is watery. Save your money and go to a real rib fest. Part of my full slab included pieces that had no meat just bones? Sauce is way too sweet make me feel sick. Never again. read more
