The first time I brought my son to get fitted, the woman didn't even aknowledge us. She was sitting at the table on a personal phone call. When she finally "helped" us. She was very rude while she took our measurements. She kept making weird comments about my son's physique. She took my $20 deposit and told me to come back today. I came back today to pick up the suit. Same woman sitting at the same table eating with another woman. Told us to take a seat and she'd be right with us. I looked around where to sit....The only seats were 2 chairs at the same table they were eating!!!!!! Wth?!? They finish eating. One of them comes to help us, food still in her mouth, greasy fingers and all...tells us the suits aren't ready and to have a seat. I've been sitting here about 45 min....still no suit! Place is very messy and cluttered and unorganized. Workers are rude and unprofessional. The only reason I came here is because the quinceanera got her dress here. At first, the ladies at this establishment seemed very nice, but then when I had a family emergency they became unreasonable. I came here for my grandfather's memorial and these ladies seemed nice enough to pay in full, so I did. I also paid them with cash because they seemed so trustworthy. A family emergency arose and I came back to cancel my pickup for the suit when they refused to give me my money back. I explained my situation to them, but they didn't want to hear my story. They claimed it was policy which was never mentioned to me upon purchasing the rental and almost broke down in the middle of the store. After almost crying to them that I needed my money back to support my family, I was finally granted HALF my money back. This place definitely unsatisfied me by the way they handled the situation and I cannot be more disgusted by these people. They had no empathy or concern for my situation or my family and I will definitely NOT come back to this business.. If they tell you that their "boss" is out of town, they are LYING! The boss is the eldest lady there. They try to tell you their boss is "on vacation for a few weeks" to make you forget that they owe you! TREAD CAREFULLY!! read more

my Spanish-speaking fiance insisted that I come here and check out the different accoutrements for a wedding party, and I was really surprised to know that they had a wonderful selection of camera, bands, neckties and different floral arrangements that really made the process that is a great little boutique shop. This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST and would advise nobody go here. The rude staff got my mom's wedding suits for us all completely wrong, the only part the was correct was a purple tie which wasn't even the right shade of purple!!! They simply didn't have anything we asked for and instead of letting us know so we could go elsewhere, they kept quiet and just changed it to what they thought was closest and still charged us full price for the suits. The suits were hideous compared to what we requested and it definitely had an effect on the wedding day. Anyone that truly cares about getting their money's worth, NEVER GO HERE!!! I wish I could give this business 0 stars but I have to at least give one. Our rental started out great, they were nice and cooperative in sizing and giving the options they have. Unfortunately my grandfathers funeral that was planned had been canceled due to my grandmother falling ill and needing to be placed in the hospital. We paid $100 total ($80 for the rental and $20 for a deposit) however after explaining the situation to the employees there, they did not care what so ever. We wanted the $80 back because the suit we rented never left their store, we didn't pick it up as the funeral had been canceled. We wanted them to keep the deposit as it used for in situations like this. They argued that it's "policy" for them to keep the money regardless. The people there are completely rude and heartless, I will never do business with this place again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered a maid of honor dress for my sister's wedding. They told me it would be there by the next week on Thursday. I left a deposit and waited for their call. They never did so I ended up calling them and they told me that they didn't know which dress I ordered. They put me on hold and said my dress would arrive the following week. I called again... and again they said the following week (this continued for about 2 more weeks) until finally they said my dress would possibly arrive 2 days before the wedding so I was welcome to go back to the store and order a new one. At that point I went elsewhere. The dress never arrived and when I went to retrieve my deposit they were rude and blamed me for choosing a dress from a company that is in high demand and has back orders for months...funny how they failed to mention that when I left my deposit. Additionally, None of the employees wore masks the entire time. They would come near me and remove their mask to speak (defeats the purpose) so if you're immunocompromised I do not recommend you do business with them. read more

This place is so awful. Lupe is racist and made my dress completely ill-fitting and was totally rude to me throughout the whole process. She purposefully altered my dress wrong, making a strapless dress over a size too large on the day of a black tie event that I had to go to. I was barely able to safety pin it on myself to get it tight enough, and it still barely stayed on the whole night. I almost cried in embarrassment several times. I paid $200 dollars to get a dress that was altered badly, with visibly lumpy seams, and didn't fit. I'm so pissed off. DO NOT SHOP here if you're white. She seems extremely accommodating to anyone who isn't white and last time I checked,my money is the same color as everyone else's. Screw this place. read more

Im writing this review to tell you my experience with this place and it was not good.I had started looking for a prom dress during the month of April because my prom is at the end of may soMind you I was doing it in advance for a reason.it was my first time looking they gave me books to look at and were very nice people.I saw a dress that I liked they ordered it a week later they and they tell me to go in for the fitting they pin the dress to my size and it was good to go.I put a down payment of fifty dollars and still owed on it obviously.days wen On like two weeks I haven't heard a word from them. I call them they say they're still tailoring it i said okay. I go to there store pay the rest of my dress off.2 weeks before prom they tell me they can't find my dress I was so pissed off because i had absolutely no time to be able to look for another dress.they tell me "we'll call You we're still looking for it".so I waited and it's a week before prom they tell me they lost my dress and gave me my money back.so essentially they expected me to wait for them only when it's convenient for them to tell Me last minute.horrible experience.luckily I went to another place in San Fernando and they had way better service.please look at other stores before coming here. read more

My daughter tried on several dresses before finally deciding on one. They said they did free alterations but we didn't need any. Lupe steamed the dress before giving it to us. 1 star for an OK job for my son's suit! but please people do not shop here! I made a deposit for my son's suit which had to be altered, and a flower girl dress which was not in stock. i looked through the catalog and saw what colors the flower girl dress comes with, it didn't say black, BUT i asked the lady (I forgot her name) if they can make it in black (coz my wedding theme was black and white) and she said YES! but i had to wait 1 week, Ok no problem since it was a special order and there are things that had to be done to my son's suit anyways. a week after, I called her at 11 am (2 hours before i pick up) to confirm if the suit and dress are ready, she said the suit is, but the dress still has to be picked up from their supplier,so i said ok and asked her to call me back because the flower girl wants to try it on that same day, after 2 hours there were no phone calls made, so i called her, and guess what??? they couldn't make it in black! and the lady was not apologetic at all, no acknowledgement of wrong doing, She even said the book doesn't say black, ah hello that's why i asked right!?! i was really upset,not hearing any sorry from her! very unprofessional! i told her i am just going to pick up the suit, and that i would like the refund for the dress, when i got there the suit wasn't ready, there we're pieces that was missing, the shirt was not available, they had the wrong size for the vest, clearly she wasn't paying attention to what i was saying when we made our first trip there! I really don't understand the previous bad reviews. May be, we are just very lucky with my daughter's formal dress which needed to be altered. The lady who helped us was very professional. We visited Downtown San Fernando where all formal and wedding dress shops are located. We hit few other stores before we got to "Bridal Center." I noticed right away that they have more selections and displays than others. The dress which my daughter picked was on sale for $35.00 which looked like normally in the $250 to $400 price range. I had to ask the reason for such a deep discount. The lady who helped us told me that the owner decides all the discounts, so she really doesn't know, but it was not second hand item and was a brand new dress. The dress needed an alteration on chest area which took one week. We also ordered a matching colored school which they had to order from the warehouse. Everything was ready by the promised date at the above satisfactory level. I recommend this store not just for wedding, but for formal dress shopping. read more

When one of the girls from my daughter's quinceanera court picked her dress up it still had the pins in place and nothing had been done, one day before the party!!!!What's worse is my daughter's dress was not ready as promised I had to pick it up the night before and when she put it on the next day it was way tooo long,and flat they forgot the hoop underneath! If you can add no stars I would. Seriously this place is ridiculous. I don't know how it's still in business. My cousin got her dress here and the little girls dresses for her quince. Well my daughter got measurements taken in June 2013. Her fitting was December 18. When I arrive at the shop she asked me the name of my cousin as she was looking through her paperwork she's what's your daughters name. Well at the end she didn't find no paper work but also informed me that she didn't have the kids dresses. Told me she would get them in a week and she would call me. A week went by and no call so I decide to call and once again she told me that there was no dress and it will take a couple weeks because of the holidays. Finally she gave me date and when I called to make sure it was there she said it didn't show up so gave me a new date. Well I got no call or anything to make sure the dress was there, so then I called and the lady was sure she would receive it that night and I should come in the next day. I finally went to the shop and guess what no dress!! Again. Now were about a week of the event and she told me to comeback on Tuesday she was gonna call the company to see what was going on why didn't she call before these people look stupid and just want your money. This place doesn't deserve any stars. I'd give a negative star if it was an option. First of all, they messed up the pick up date on my bridesmaid's and reception dresses. They said to pick up date was Sept. 3 but wrote Sept 13 instead. My bridesmaid was so angry because this place was quite a drive from her place and we had to go back another day. Secondly, on my wedding reception, the zipper on my reception dress broke, even before I could actually use it. I was so disappointed that I didn't have a reception dress. My wedding was not as I planned it to be, all because of how poor the quality of this dress was. Not that I saved any money coming here. The dress was $80 +tax. I wasted money, time, gas and I had the worst customer service I've ever had and I mean ever. They didn't want to give me a refund. I had no use of this dress anymore but they didn't care how they ruined my perfectly planned wedding. And to make it worse, since they wouldn't give me a refund, they offered to just fixed it. Said it will only take 40 minutes. I waited 2 hours!!! I will never ever ever ever come back to this place nor refer anyone to buy from this store. The worst experience ever. We went around the corner and grabbed a bite to eat. We took our time getting back to give them time to get everything ready. We made it back to them at 4:20pm and checked in with her. She still had nothing, and was still rude. I would have understood the situation if the shop was full but we were the only people there. We waited another 20 minutes before she decided to go get out suit from another shop down the street. And when we tried it on, it didn't fit. The coat and pants were way to small. When we told her she said that was the way it was supposed to fit. We were lucky we found lupe another employee there and she fixed the suit for us. Brides be careful of this place! If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered my wedding dress from them August 2014 for my wedding March 2015. One day prior to my fitting I called to see what time they would like me there, I was told my dress was not there and they did not know where it was. After calling daily to see where my dress was , I got the excuse that it was on a container at the docks and due to the strike they could not get it. Well two weeks before my wedding they call me and say it is still in China, it never shipped. How could they do this to a bride. They did not care and had no sympathy, that is why they had no issue with giving me my money back and sending me on my way. Now it is two weeks before my wedding and I have no dress, I had to go to another bridal store and pay way more for a dress off the rack and pay even more for alterations. Worst Place EVER! I ordered two dresses, one for my daughter (mini quinceañera), one for myself. We were suppose to have our first fitting on May 31st, when I arrived, they told me they didn't have my daughters dress ready because they had given her wrong color material. Also, they didn't have my dress, they would have it "ready" in July... party was in June?? Asked for my money back and they tried to switch me so much to a more expensive dress, I had to come back the next afternoon to get my money back because she didn't have any money at the register?Fine... The day of the party, I changed my little into her dress, 15 minutes after she started crying like crazy, she wanted to take off her dress, I just thought she was hot plus we were running late. Around 10am before church, she was still fuzzy so her dad picked her up and "BOOM" needle right into his finger. She started checking her dress and found 3 needles!! 3 needles on a 2yr olds dress! No wonder my poor baby was crying she had pinches all over. When we took the needles out the front part of the dress fell apart... but wait that's not it.. all the sequins that are suppose to be sewed on were glued on.. by church time half of them had fallen. When we took the dress back, the main lady that runs the place responded with this "well, we gave her a discount on the dress" ??? Really, you can give me the dress for $5 .. the point here is the damage and pain my 2 year old daughter went through. NEVER AGAIN!!!! This place sucks!!!! read more
