It's a smallish shop, but they have a lot of inventory, including larger sizes. (A bane of most brides' existence, especially if you're over a street size 14.) Although the purchasing and several options were great, the overall experience was NOT appropriate. The owner managed to make inappropriate body comments for not only the bridal party but also the bride. What the heck? In what world is it okay to make comments about a stranger let alone your most important money maker - THE BRIDE. Getting ahold of the owner/having calls answered and returned was stressful and a hassle. We are in Small town PA, not LA or NY you can answer the damn phone, there isn't a line waiting to get in. Alterations that are almost always needed and should not be shouted throughout the store. This group had average size girls and petite girls. No matter what end over or underweight comments are not welcomed. The owners side stories talking down about her other brides/clients were also inappropriate. Talking about how the bride doesn't want to come for her fitting because she doesn't think the girl lost the weight she wanted to. My guess is the bride is trying to find a backup seamstress to get this lady off her back. The dresses looked great at the wedding however you can get great dresses everywhere, but you can't get great customer service everywhere and I can guarantee none of us will be returning. We also have advised other potential brides away from this location. Every body type, age, color is beautiful. Find somewhere who will appreciate your uniqueness and make what is one of the most exciting pieces of planning your wedding day just that - EXCITING!

I found this shop in search of a specific wedding dress brand (Essence of Australia) and MarWin came up as a vendor carrying the brand in my internet search on my area. We set an appointment and I received attentive one on one VIP treatment for the entire appointment. You can bring your entire wedding party group as well. We had more than one phone conversation with them (prior to driving an hour and a half each way for this appointment) in which they stated that they had a large selection of plus size samples. In reality, they had one rack in the back of the store. This store is supposedly the only store in PA (maybe just western PA) to carry the Allure Disney Fairy Tale collection. If that's true that's very sad bc they had a small rack of them, most older, a few new and even fewer in plus size. Actually I don't know if they had any, bc the only ones my daughter liked they didn't have. If you're going to brag and be half snarky on the phone that you're the "only store in PA" to carry that line, then you should have an extensive selection of that line in all sizes. Don't waste your time looking at their "available dresses" on the website bc they didn't have some of them and told us that they don't have time to keep up with that. Ok? Then don't list any. The only positive experience was that our consultant Sue was very nice. She went out of her way to help my daughter and was very knowledgeable. The poor selection and just meh gowns is not her fault. Even tho she had never been told any information about my daughter prior to her appointment, which should ALWAYS be done. Why bother asking questions if you're not going to pass them along to the consultant? If you're are an average size bride that is on the lower end of the budget range (which is perfectly fine!) and you aren't picky at all, then this place might be ok. If you want something different or at all out of the ordinary same old same old, skip this place.
