They say up front that it's $50/visit, require you to pay for 1 week at a time and then send you a bill saying that you still owe money because they didn't tell you they were going to also bill you for the bogus "exercises" they require you to do BY YOURSELF before they'll adjust your back. Attached a photo of my bill for 3 visits. Aside from that, they're insanely pushy. And obviously need good reviews because they hassle you about posting a review. So here you go, here's your review. Where do I begin? Let's start with the initial exam, starts with a mobility test and some x-ray's. From every negative review I have seen for this company it has all been the same. Set you up for 3 times a week for a treatment plan. The company advised I was in really bad shape and needed to get adjusted. I paid hundreds upfront and was advised that paid for 36 visits. The company advised if insurance would cover the rest and if not they would inform me. I got to visit 23 and as I was walking out the front desk asked if I was going to make a payment ? I asked payment? What do you mean I still have 13 more visits from what I paid in the beginning. She advised well from what I see you have a balance of $359.43 , I became upset, but understood she was just the messenger. I never went back for another visit. Spoke with the billing manager and advised I will not pay for a fraudulent charge. So now they sent my account to collections. I will see them in court soon than. Don't go to this company no wonder how this company has built a big new building with top of the line equipment and advertisement. Charging their customers with fraud. Very dishonest! read more

After my initial consultation, I went home and read the Yelp reviews on Bridge Chiropractic. I almost cancelled my follow up appointment based on those reviews. I am SO glad I didn't. Everyone at Bridge is just wonderful. They always have a smile, "hello!", and "have a great day!" for you. I worked primarily with Dr. Morgan. Highly recommend! Everyone is highly knowledgeable and answers all my questions. Physically, I feel great and the frequent appointments keep me motivated to keep working on myself. The exercises before the adjustment feel like they look pretty stupid but they feel good. If you're looking for a quick adjustment and don't want to fix the problem, this place isn't for you. If you actually care about your body and the long term, at least sit in for the consultation. They don't even try to sell you anything. My only concern with Bridge is that they must have forgot to lock up one night in early February because Cupid obviously got in and vomited everywhere. My word, that's a lot of red hearts. read more

The ONLY reason why I still go here is because of Dr. Taylor Owens. This office is absolutely horrible. It's like a mill once you get in, the other doctors don't even listen to what you have to say. They're just there to make a quick buck it feels like. I've struggled with scoliosis my whole life so finding a good chiropractor is big for me. Dr. Taylor really takes time to listen to you and is very thorough, his adjustments are the best I have ever had. He is actually the best chiropractor I have had, and I've been going my whole life. I made an appointment to get my neck adjusted, they said I needed to do tests first. As soon as I got there, they gave me a tour of their brand new facility. The doctor seemed very focus on showing me pictures of "good vs bad spines, health vs arthritis level" while performing the tests. After all of that, he tells me to make another appointment to get adjusted, something they conveniently omit to disclose when I called. I went back the next day and they put me in a room to go over the "financial" part before adjustment. After checking my benefits, they recommended me to go 3x week to use all of my covered visits. As my neck pain was persistent, I went ahead and got adjusted, or at least thought I did. Long story short. After $80 testing plus $40 copay I felt zero relief ( I needed to come more for that) Luckily I went to a reputable chiropractor in Portland and fixed me on the first appointment, without using any cheap car salesman tactics to get my business. Health practitioners like this, chiropractor mills, are the problem with healthcare in this country. They are for profit first, not your health. read more

I feel bad giving a bad review because the gal at the front desk and the Dr. were INCREDIBLY polite and not pushy. They called back to check in after my first adjustment and seemed knowledgable in what they did. It's not like I had a terrible experience, it just simply wasn't my cup of tea. I went in for a massage and ended up with a consultation with a plan to come back for an adjustment after my x-rays were reviewed the following day. This was a surprise to me because I was in an incredible amount of pain and was sent home. Before I even received the adjustment, I was given a review of what my spine looked like and literally felt like I was sitting down to buy a car - you know how they write down your APR/Monthly payment in the boxes? Yeah. The Dr. laid out an entire payment plan and schedule of the appointments I needed and how much they would cost. I was shocked and super uncomfortable. I just wanted my adjustment. They wanted me to come back 3x a week for 12 weeks or something. Even after my insurance covered stuff, I would still owe roughly $800 after that. They weren't pushy about it like others have said, but the fact that it happened was bothersome. The adjustment area is very open and frankly I didn't care much for it because I prefer my privacy when it comes to medical things. Got a groupon for a "relaxation massage" so I scheduled my appointment and went in. The woman who gave me a massage said she could give me a sports massage because she hated relaxation massages... really?, wow... The massage was NOT relaxing which is what I was needing and they were trying to get me to agree to a chiro exam which I didn't want. It was a bit of a marketing-turn-off for me coupled with a massage I wouldn't repeat. I wasn't going to bother puting a review on Yelp, but then I got an email from the Dr. of the office. The subject in the email read, "I need your help. Please open :)" soliciting reviews for Yelp and Google. Got into a car accident a couple of months ago and have tried two other chiropractors before I came here and I am a believer! Here at Bridge, not only is their service great, they educate you on what's happening to your body, walk you through a plan to get better and then follow-up on your progress. I can't say enough great things about Bridge Chiropractic. I started going about 3 months ago because I travel for work. I'm always on an airplane or in a car and that really messes up my back. I decided on this clinic simply because I've driven by it for years and it's close to my house - let me say I am so glad I did. From the moment I made my first appointment, Dr. Paul and his staff has been incredibly friendly and welcoming. Susan at the front desk is so friendly and funny. I really like that she is so on top of the schedule and keeps tabs on me because sometimes I forget. They are very accommodating to my schedule and they don't care if I come in early to my appointments. Dr. Paul and Dr. Courtney are my absolute favorites. They are friendly and caring, and both really take the time to learn their patients and to talk and get to know you. I am always surprised when I'm getting adjusted how the Dr's are just chatting with other patients and seem to really know about everyone's personal lives. It's a nice touch and makes you feel welcome and that your business is really appreciated. My husband and I were in a car accident in September and needed help. From the very beginning, our experience with Dr. Paul and his group has been Awesome! We are both feeling better and on our way to recovery, which is the reason we went in the first place. I am writing this review because I don't feel that the previous negative reviews are a fair representation of what you will experience there. First off...Chiropractic care, or any care for that matter is going to cost you money. Shop around and see what an office visit costs and then compare. If you are getting a package 'deal' then that means you are getting a discount off of the normal price...what is wrong with that? Dr.'s don't work for free. They have package pricing for both their Adjustments and Massages. This SAVES you money. Why would you complain about that? Were they excited to share this information with you? Maybe they can't believe that you would pass up such a great deal? And why would you be there if you couldn't afford it in the first place? That's like taking your car to the shop and complaining that they are going to charge you to fix it! Good Luck finding better pricing for what you receive. There is more to their adjustments than just the adjustment. They have top notch equipment that I can say from experience has made a huge difference in my body and how I feel. Those machines are included in your adjustment package. Do other chiropractors include this in their pricing? Or not? You need to know all the facts while shopping around. The staff at Bridge Chiropractic is awesome-very nice and helpful. I have never had an issue with the care I have been given. The open office is very inviting and I like the fact that I can go in for an adjustment any time and there is a Dr. there to take care of me. My husband and I go 3 times a week for adjustment and massage and I have not experienced a bad situation. If you want a relaxing massage-then ask for one, and if they say they don't do them (which is VERY hard for me to believe since I have seen each therapist there many times) then you get your balls out of your purse and ask for someone else. I have Fibromyalgia and I CAN'T handle a deep massage and all of the therapists have worked well with this. They ask how the pressure is during the massage and adjust accordingly. Agree with many of these and wish I had looked into it closer and trusted my gut before spending $1500. They are very pushy to make the sale and you are lucky if you spend 3 minutes with a chiro for a quick adjustment. They just rush you in and out to make $50 every time you are there. I went to Bridge Chiropractic because I was suffering from a 3 day long migraine and needed relief. I have seen chiropractors in the past and I know that a simple neck adjustment will solve my migraine issue and I will be pain free very shortly after that adjustment. I called to make an appointment and was told that the exam would be $80 or I could bring in a bag of hygiene items for local teens instead. The fee for the adjustment would be on top of that. I thought that was wonderful they contribute to the local teens but it was odd to me that the office girl refused to tell me how much an adjustment would be since I was paying cash for it. She would not even give me a range and beat around the bush a lot. That should have been a red flag but I figured they do not want to quote you a price over the phone and not have it be right for your case. I went in and spent an hour getting x-rays, flexibility tests and health background questioned. Then I am told that I have to come back tomorrow to see the doctor. Apparently the person that was doing all of this is not the chiropractor. So I left in pain but figured that it was just one more night, I could deal with it. The next morning I went into the office and was directed to this little room with a few chairs and a computer. I was told the doctor would be right in. He came in introduced himself and proceeded to explain a poster on the wall and tell me about how the spine works, the nervous system is attached to it and explained a few x-ray pictures on the poster. Then he pulled up my x-rays and went into what I can only liken to a used car salesman trying to sell me on spending a ton of money that I do not have. He used leading questions to make make me say how "bad" my condition was. He used persuasive speech trying to get me to accept his ideas and "realize" how badly I needed this 6 month plan he had laid out. Trust me I have seen the training videos of how to convince someone they "need" something and must have it no matter the cost. He did it all. In the end I walked out of there not signing his contract for 6 months of services for $1800 - oh but if I can't pay that right this second he will finance it for me for low payments and then I can pay more money over 6 or 12 months once you add on the finance fees. Again used car salesman complete with the paper where he writes it all out and explains how great all this stuff is and how badly I need it. I again walked out in pain. He is not interested in helping you get aligned and out of pain, he is only interested in making money and putting more cash in his wallet. I called another chiropractor that was recommended to me and his office girl told me how much the exam and adjustment would be without me even asking. Not only did the doctor do the evaluation himself, he immediately adjusted me so I am finally pain free. He did tell me that he recommends I come back for a few more adjustments but he put NO pressure on me at all (except to adjust my back) and said it was up to me and what I wanted to do and what I could afford. Steer clear of Bridge Chiropractic unless you have several thousand dollars and endless amounts of time to spend. read more

I was visiting the Portland area and was referred to this clinic by my Chiro office in Texas. He said the doc was a presenter at Chiro conferences and should be good. Worst experience of my life!!! Open concept clinic and people were standing around waiting like cattle for slaughter. I had a really bad sense I was in the wrong place and should leave. I did not listen and shook it off. I came in with a stick neck, the kind you awaken with in the morning but by noon it's nearly gone. He didn't introduce himself or question my history/complaint. I had a hand gesturing to my neck and I could see he had not read my intake paperwork as he just went from person to person. He made the adjustment with me lying on my stomach. Red flag there. He tried twice then said "I can't do anything with this" and pushed his weight off me using my shoulders for support. This did something to my neck that made me feel my head was disconnected from my body. I know... it sounds bizarre. I sat for the next two months unable to do anything but bare minimal activities - extreme pain and panic really. I tried calling the clinic but they wouldn't listen to my story. It was nearly impossible to get off their mailing list for over a year. And now, 4 years later and holiday time, I receive another surprise email - which spurred me on to write this review. I went through their consultation (including X-Rays) and receive no treatment. The follow up visit to review X-Rays was a Scam, taking me through what I'm sure everyone else went through. I scheduled an appointment for my husband last week when he hurt his back. Our normal Chiropractor was out of town, so I scheduled with Bridge Chiropractic. Much like the other reviews on this website, my husband experienced the same "cattle-call" routine. They tried hard-sell techniques on a $1500 adjustment package... BUT WAIT! IF YOU PURCHASE IT IN FULL TODAY WE'LL KNOCK OFF $150!! They tried to sell him a $59 orthodic, and had him lay on it for 3 minutes that was supposed to straighten out his neck. Today, 2 days later - we're headed back to our normal Chiropractor to now fix the severe neck pain my husband has been experiencing since his last appointment. "You can either patch it, or fix it." We'll fix it with our normal guy, where there's no car-sales like techniques, no "upselling" and just good practice, and where we walk out feeling much better than when we walked in. read more

I definitely do not recommend this place! It felt like a total scam from the beginning, but because I was new to going to the chiropractor, I thought I was just being too skeptical. The first time you go in, they give you a big spiele and show you your X-ray and lay everything out like you're buying a new car. Then they recommend that you come in three times a week, at least, and give you a list of exercises to do in the office by yourself. The exercises, I don't feel like they do anything. As far as getting adjusted, they have you in an open room next to other people. It's very awkward and not private at all. My husband went in, and they gave him the same exact spiele, the same exact diagnosis, and the same exact treatment plan. Coincidence? I don't think so. We also had a lot of issues with billing. We paid hundreds of dollars up front that should have lasted for 3 months, but then when I check my insurance online, it doesn't match up to what they were billing. This place is a total scam. I am writing this review because I received a message on 10/11/13 from "Dr. Paul" at Bridge Chiropractic saying he would give me a "a special gift (valued at $50)" if I wrote a positive review. So, here's my review (but it's not positive): A few years ago, I had a painful "tweak" in my middle back. I happened to drive by the clinic and saw they offered massage therapy - so I stopped in, hoping to get a massage. The receptionist gave me an information card to read about the importance of the nervous system, and then proceeded to quiz me on what I had just read. She then gave me a very scripted tour of the clinic, including a stop at a wall with written testimonials from people, claiming to have been cured of all kinds of conditions such as asthma and eczema. The whole thing made me uncomfortable, but I was in pain, and would have listened to anything at that point As I waited for the chiropractor, I noticed that there was a lot of Christian symbolism purposely placed around the office. Among other things, the music station, the logo, and even the bible verses being scrolled on the tv monitor seemed a little too much - as if Christianity was being used as a marketing ploy. I found it to be a little offensive (maybe even sacrilegious.) I then met Dr. Paul and he took x-rays and did some kind of nerve scan. He briefly showed me the nerve scan results then said I needed to make a follow up appointment to go over the rest of the results. He gave me a quick adjustment before I left him, but it seemed like it was almost an afterthought. While making the follow-up appointment with the receptionist, I was told that I had to bring my husband with me next time - which I argued because I thought it was a little sexist. I eventually relented and brought my husband to the follow-up appointment. He, too, went through a scripted introduction to the clinic and had to take a quiz. (We both had to laugh at how ridiculous it was.) We then met with Dr. Paul, who started off by showing my husband a nerve scan that looked nothing like the nerve scan I was shown at my prior appointment. (That was the point where I lost all faith in Dr. Paul) Next, he showed us my xrays and told us that my neck was too straight, however, failed to comment on my slight scoliosis. He then showed us an xray of a woman with a "hunched over" neck and told us that he was able to fix her and that he could fix my neck too ....(wait for it)...with multiple weekly appointments over many months! We left the office feeling like we had escaped some kind of scam, and then I promptly went to Massage Envy, where they finally were able to relieve my back pain. The whole episode at Bridges Chiropractic was a frustrating waste of time and cost me about $300, while Massage Envy was only about $60. It's no wonder Bridges Chiropractic has to offer "special gifts" to their customers to get positive reviews. It always com s down to money! Especially in this field. I received a LIFETIME AUTHORIZATION FOR 3 hours a week. I had been arriving on time for months.... My son caught on fire and I forgot another appointment...The third was their miscommunications. I was even flexable enough to arrive early by request due to another person not showing up...And f I came in early..They could go home early...Not a problem...I loved the LMTs.... I said I'd pay for the misses that were my fault..But I couldn't do till after the holidays. (After months on end where they were getting paid on time in full by my insurance for 3TIMES A WEEK! WHO GETS THAT? THEY SAY NO ONE..BUT I GUESS THATS NOTHING!)..They decided that I wasn't worth taking the chance to see if I would infact start paying on the missed appointments AFTER THE HOLIDAY BILLS CAME IN. AFTER ALL I have a lifetime with them! PAID! My insurance made sure they were paid ASAP and apparently my 2 x $60 "misses" weren't worth waiting for. I had my treatment "SUSPENDED" until I paid! In the middle of extensive progress! It took me months to write this trying to be fair. This is as fair as it gets considering they all were aware of my precarious medical situation! I still miss the ppl (LMT's) that ACTUALLY helped me improve...Sadly...They probably have no say about this.The decision made by a non medical professional... A book person...The keeper of the books and making sure they don't lose $100 (maybe) while collecting from my excellent insurance 3 times that amount EVERY WEEK...EVERY MONTH...For as long as I need.. Oh as well as chiropractic...Also up to 3 times a week. I stopped doing chiro pretty much because I felt worse MOST times or at least not any BETTER... but once a month worked for me apparently not for them as I've got to believe that chiro has a huge profit margin compared to massage....Maybe that's the issue.they were no longer getting paid for the higher profit service! After all chiro visits are rarely longer than maybe 3-5 minutes! That's pretty quick money! Yes I know..They had to go to school...They have loans....They do because they can.... Whatever...It's a lot of cash for a few minutes of something that must be repeated for extended periods of time. It's sad. I've going to Bridge Chiro for several years now, at first it was just to maintain my good health, but then I became a online student spending hours at a computer desk, that coupled with not-so-great posture puts a lot of stress on my spine and hips. After my weekly adjustment I always leave feeling relaxed Dr. Paul does such a great job at relieving all the stressed points! If you're looking for someone who truly cares for you as a patient, provides individual approach to treatment and is at least somewhat sympathetic to what you're experiencing - this is not the place for you, keep looking there are good doctors out there. Here everyone is nice and smiling but they care for your money and insurance payouts a whole lot more than they do for your health and providing you treatment. First appointment- no treatment. Second appointment- you come in and sit there in pain watching and listening to them do their sales talk as they try to get you into a contract 4 months worth of visits. After that you are shown all the exercises and than adjusted in an open space with other patients around you. I'm in healthcare and I know good patient care when I see it. First and foremost you take care of your patient and then talk long term plan of care and financials. I felt like I was being scammed, like I'm in some other part of the world where they make money off patients in pain, desperate to get treatment so they sign up for whatever. I had no clue this kind of "patient care" is in town. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time and money. I went off Google reviews when I was looking, big mistake, should have read Yelp. If I could give this place negative reviews I would!!! They are sooooo pushy and they don't stop calling or texting, I felt like I was just another number. More like I was going to buy a car not at a chiropractic office. They made me feel like my spine was completely falling apart and that I was in horrible condition. After insurance coverage and months/weeks later it would be costing me over a thousand dollars. Needless to say my husband and I were not only not comfortable with the office but he wasn't comfortable with me continuing on at the office. Dr Paul is great. He knows his stuff. Appreciate how they have helped me and my kids. Ages 10,8 & 4. They are flexible and love kids. Staff is great. They can be a little pushy but that's his profession. He knows if you see him xxx a week for xxx months you will have relief and less health problems later. Some people see this as pushy. Take it as you will, but I'd rather pay money for an adjustment then a MD bill any day. People complain about MDs so much and that they just give you a pill and be on your way. Your not fixing anything. Chiropractic care is a preventative for a lot of things. We need to change our mindset on healthcare. read more

Several weeks ago I woke up in the morning and completely threw my back out. I could not walk, I could not turn over in bed, I could barely crawl. I had to have help getting dressed. It was very bad. I needed immediate help. I looked up chiropractors in Vancouver and called a few to see if I was able to come in. None of them were able to accommodate my need to come in immediately, except for Bridge Chiropractic. When I got there, I was met by a chiropractor and their front desk person. They were very friendly and accommodating. I filled out the typical paperwork, and given the condition that I was in, they were hesitant to provide an adjustment on me without x-rays. I was very glad that they did the x-rays, because they found that I had advanced level 2 subluxation in my upper spine behind my neck, and in my lower back. For years I have suffered from back and neck problems, and I have had very bad headaches. I have been to several chiropractors, but none of them suggested that I have x-rays done. As noted, I am so glad that Bridge Chiropractic recommended this and was able to do it on site because I would have not known of the condition that I was in. Once I knew the severity of my condition, I was able to understand what needed to be done. They set me up on a plan that function with my insurance and I have been to their office several times since. As they rationally explained it to me, my condition will require several months of Rehabilitation. Every time I have been to their office I have improved. Every time they have been very welcoming, accommodating, and professional. I enjoy the rehabilitation equipment that they have in the office, emphasizing that chiropractic is more than just simply somebody popping your neck and popping your back. If somebody is simply looking for a quick adjustment without any other foresight, this may not be the place for them. But if they are looking for a process to affect their overall health, and they are looking for a knowledgeable and professional staff with excellent facilities, then this is the place to go. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. As an aside, I see that there are two other reviews that gave one star. I read both reviews. To me, given the experience that I have had, it almost feels as if we are talking about completely different companies. I have been going there, but I'm not too sure about the "fast in/out" method they operate on. I used to go to a chiropractor that actually spent time with you in a "private room", heat pads, actually asked you how you were doing and spent about 15 minutes with you. They spend time the first visit to try to oversell service. At Bridge, your lucky if its 5 minutes. They have no private offices, just open tables that you lay on next to someone else, and you never know which chiropractor is going to see you. Yes, they have a computer system where I think they put in notes, but NO privacy whatsoever or time given by the doctor to get to know you and your concerns. Billing rate is not accommodating for lack of time spent. They try to oversell their services which I am not found of either. Think I'll be going back to my original chiropractor even though it is not as convenient. Great massage therapists though. read more
