I really like Bridgeport Village. It reminded me of outdoor southern California malls that I used to go to. I liked that they had free family friendly summer events. My son enjoyed the Saturday morning concerts. Afterwards, we would go to Salt & Straw or Happy Lemon. We also liked going to Crate & Barrel and Barnes & Noble. There are different dining options. We've been to Choza and CPK. I can't wait until Fogo de Chao opens. I like Peet's Coffee, but I wished there was a local coffee shop. There is also an AMC. Tender Loving Empire has great items that are made by various local and small businesses. When we went to the Apple Store during the holidays, it seemed pretty busy. This shopping center offers different experiences if you plan to shop, dine, walk around, or attend an event. read more

We have been going to Bridgeport Santa for the past 4 years and have enjoyed visiting Santa there. You need to make a reservation in advance and they are 10 minute time slots. Parking this time of year is always tricky, but expected. This year they changed companies and it was disappointing to see the new pricing. You need to pay $20.00 for the appointment/down payment towards pictures. This year the cheapest package offered for purchase was $39.99. The Santa was great as always and the team members were nice. They did good on timing and we were in and out in a timely manner. My kids liked the stuffed animals they got as a gift from Santa. My biggest suggestion would be to bring back the one picture and/or digital option and have more affordable package options. read more

I wanted to update my review as they completed the renovations and have a way better center seating section which is pretty amazing. They used to have a lot in the area that seemed pretty impractical down to the way it was arranged. Now it is a lot more open with far more practical seating. There is heating and a fire pit. I am always down to check out a new ice cream location. Salt & Straw has a new location and they are open until 11pm, as is the great sitting area. read more

I LOVE this outdoor shopping mall. It's so nice. There is a good selection of stores, food, ice cream, and a nice theater. The parking could be better, but you can always find something. They also have a play area for the kiddos, which is very popular. read more

Finally having the opportunity to visit this mall I can safely say it does live up to the hype. It's a beautiful mall nestled in a great area in Tigard and is clean, safe and a fun mall for those with families and littles. Lots of open space and beautifully crafted play areas for kids it's a great choice to take the family to whether you're a resident or visiting. When we went in the middle of the week it wasn't crowded and still had a lot of shops to explore as well as a wide array of restaurants and eatery's along with a Regal (also a fav) within the mall as well. We went in the afternoon and stayed into the evening where the magic of lighting up the mall made for amazing family pictures while on vacation. The staff in the shops were friendly and service overall was great. We loved the added fireplaces and lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy a meal or engage in playtime with the kids. Bridgeport mall is an upscale outdoor shopping center. There is a wide selection of different retailers including restaurants, movie theater, mattress stores, home goods, books and numerous clothing stores. During the summer you are able to enjoy outdoor seating and entertainment, however during the cold winter and rainy months there is no reprieve from the elements. In addition, it seems whenever we go to this shopping center there is always construction going on that we have to navigate around. Employees are always helpful. Parking is limited in the main area. If you don't mind a little walk there is a parking structure on the far side of the mall. Overall it is worth the trip to come out to shop, watch movies and grab a bite to eat (I recommend happy lemon tea and pastini Italian). read more

Outdoor style shopping area with several restaurants and food kiosks sprinkled in plus areas to sit, a small area for children to play and a center courtyard where they have outdoor concerts and where a ginormous Christmas Tree stands during the Holiday season. In non-Covid times, it's a great place to meet for dinner and then a movie. ZGallery, the main reason I would come to Bridgeport, has gone out of business at this location. Same with Williams Sonoma. Bummer. Now my main draw is Crate and Barrel and The Container store, since I'm a total organization freak! There are a few women's clothing stores, some pricey like Eileen Fisher, Free People and Anthropology; and others like Francesca's that sell at a much lower price point. If you are here, it's worth taking a stroll though SAK's Off Fifth. While this is their discount store, clothing, jewelry and accessories are still expensive but there are "finds" in each department if you have the patience. PF Chang's, California Kitchen and McCormack & Schmitz are the larger restaurants that are always popular and offer takeout during Covid-19. There is large multi level parking garage back behind the theatre and smaller parking areas scattered around the various stores. Easy access to I-5 and close to 217. read more

I hate shopping. And I especially hate malls. But, if I must go shopping, and it must be to a mall, I want it to be a lovely outdoor mall with beautiful landscaping, adequate parking, and plenty of places to get some delicious food and/or beverages. Bridgeport Village fits the bill and then some! This is more of a high-end mall with lovely boutiques and some popular stores in the mix, a variety of restaurants and food stands, and a movie theater. I don't like shopping but I am a serious organization freak, so this place having The Container Store is an added bonus. They even have a little playground for the tots and some nice outdoor seating areas. They could use a few more directory maps, however, as those are few & far between. read more

Located just off of I-5 and with easy access to both Tualatin and Lake Oswego, this outdoor shopping center is ideally placed to be a scenic place to shop. They have many restaurants, a Barnes and Noble, a movie theater, and a number of clothing stores and other shops. The shopping center is just across the street from REI and a Whole Foods Market, so there are other places to check out a short walk or drive away. You can stop to watch a movie, get a bite to eat, and leave with a few new books and maybe a shirt or pair of shoes that you couldn't live without. Since it's outside it can be a little annoying going from shop to shop when the weather is bad, such as when it's cold or raining. However, the very worst downside is the parking. When it's busy, it's VERY busy, and very few parking spots are available outside of the 2nd or 3rd floors of the parking garage. But, if you don't mind the walk, Bridgeport Village is a great place to get a one stop shopping experience, any day of the week. read more

It is so nice to be able to walk around Bridgeport Village and enjoy so many pleasantries! Located in Tigard off of I-5 across from Lake Oswego, this outdoor shopping center makes you think you are in California rather than Oregon. There are plenty of places to stop and ponder and the center court area has covered, heated areas to contemplate or watch the children playing on the playground equipment. A reminder that you are in Oregon and not California will be the large umbrellas left in the parking areas for you to use while shopping in case the Oregon weather arrives with you. read more

Shopping center is great and super clean, which is awesome. But this new and "improved" play area is a huge let down. My kids are 2.5, so i understand they may not be of the right age group. But the other playground they got rid of was so much better. I'm so bummed. read more

First of all, this isn't a "mall." This is what wCalifornian transplants call a "mall." An "outdoor mall" is virtually unheard of in the PNW. I feel like if this is considered a mall, then Portland itself has hundreds on every major street. Again, not a mall; not here at least. Bridgeport is an example of a culture clash; a pretentious, spendy, unoriginal slice of California trying to be Oregonian like most of Lake Oswego. Come for Koi Fusion and Barnes & Noble's, then leave. But just stay clear if you're a biker or skater - security guards won't let you ride on the very *expansive* definition of sidewalk here. Dogs shaking dander into your food, barking at people, or otherwise bugging you is ok though. What a joke. read more

Those of us who have lived in the area a long time know the score - we knew what was on this site before. Mostly nothing. From I-5, it appeared to be vacant land, and scruffy looking vacant land at that. Then, trucks, barricades, cranes, and construction trailers showed up. And, within a matter of time, Bridgeport Village was born. It's not a place I visit very often, being on the other side of town. However, it is really nicely put together. It's a "village" in that the streets meander through the stores, with parking here and there, not to mention a parking structure. Note that, being a village, it is not enclosed and shielded from the elements. It's also not a conventional shopping mall with anchor stores. There are no anchors like Macy's and Nordstrom. Most of the stores are boutique type stores for clothing, housewares, gifts, and jewelry, along with restaurants, including some of the more upmarket chains, and a multi-screen cinema complex. I don't believe Bridgeport Village took any (foot) traffic away from big Washington Square. Mostly, it seems to have augmented it and provided other choices. Not only that, the southerly and southwesterly growth of the metro area has proven that it can support it quite well. It's nice to visit Bridgeport Village. The center shows good taste, the stores feature good names, even though I primarily visit Barnes and Noble, and people are mannered, be it the employees or those who shop here. You've seen this concept before and these villages have been well received, be they in Pleasant Hill, CA (East Bay), The Woodlands, TX, Atlanta, GA or Bal Harbour/Sunny Isles, FL (Miami). I'm not going for the full 5 stars because of the limited slate of merchants, parking that can be constrained, and because it's not that big. If Bridgeport Village's stores aren't your cup of tea, there's a center across Bridgeport Road, to the south, with less expensive stores and less expensive food. Also, the Village Inn and the Trimet Park and Ride that have been on the opposite corner for decades remain. read more

I was treated horrible in the Apple Store by the manager as the employee didn't know what he was doing. Insisting that I have to buy storage after I told him I would get rid of the stuff like I always did and I wouldn't have any problems losing anything on my cell he wouldn't listen to me and kept saying the same thing over and over for two hours. 84 years old I have my own YouTube channel. I'm very horrified. much with it he treated me like I was a two year old trying to teach me that I was wrong, the manager came over as I asked her to. he had me upset and crying. as he made me feel like there was no hope for me unless I bought storage I even said I would buy a new phone if I won't have problems anymore and he told me I would have the same problems if I bought a new phone. She sat there and said she knew nothing about how to fix it it. I said I will ask one question will I lose everything if I only want my pictures taken off and she said no you won't.she was right and he was wrong. that I was disrespectful to him. I have never in my whole life been treated so horrible ever. I had to run out of there crying as they were treating me bad. he insisted I wasn't only going to lose my photos. I was gonna lose everything on my cell phone and he had me very scared. I ran to a store in the area and the girl there help me with my phone and my phone is perfect now he kept telling me I was gonna lose everything. they said I was talking loud yes I was talking loud I am hard of hearing and I kept telling them that they didn't pay one bit of attention. They just wanted to be nasty to me. Bye-bye Apple I will never ever go back to Apple again I'm going to get rid of it the manager was very nasty stern looking never even smiled when I came in the store. There is no friend friendly attitude whatsoever I retired from Sprint and we would be fired immediately if we had treated our customers even a tiny bit bad. what gods name is wrong with these companies? They don't train their employees at all obviously I knew more than he did and so did the girl in the store that helped me get everything back that he took off of my phone and let me go out the door like that with not putting nothing back and they escorted me out the door like I was a criminal, they made me feel sick. They got my blood pressure up where I almost have a stroke. As I recall, when it first opened Bridgeport was billed as recreating the "small town main street shopping experience." After we went once, I agreed they had - they had a little trouble getting chickens/cattle to run across the street in front of the traffic, probably zoning issues, so they'd just replaced them with hapless pedestrians. Problem solved! Some "genius" decided to route the vehicle traffic through the middle of this stupid little "main street" mall, to teeny-tiny lots that never have enough space. There IS a parking garage but it's at one edge - the one furthest from the freeway - and most people mill around before finding it, or giving up and going to it if they know where it is (it's a LONG walk from many of the restaurants, Crate & Barrel, etc.). As a consequence there is a LOT of traffic (not only do they all drive in, they all drive out again when there's no space). And since, to get to many of the stores from the aforementioned parking garage at the end of nowhere, you have to walk across these "charming little streets" that have no bridged walkways, tada, instant games of pedestrian bowling. Driving through this place is designed to make you flinch. Walking through it is worse. If you MUST go here, head STRAIGHT for the parking garage (if you came from I-5, go all the way to Whole Foods and hang a right at that light, it's the only way to the garage without going through this torture chamber). You'll still be walking in front of traffic and fearing for your life after you park, but you'd be doing that anyway, and at least you won't have wasted time trying to find space in a lot - you're probably going to fail anyway. A lot of the stores and restaurants are generic chains. Pick them up at some other mall, or better yet, go to their competitors to indicate your irritation that they are in this ill-designed slop of a mall. (Seriously, the OUTLET MALLS I have been to are better designed for comfort and safety. Many STRIP MALLS are better designed for customer/pedestrian safety, if not comfort.) Alas, they do have an IMAX theater. Those are relatively rare in the Portland area. If you park in the parking garage and cross at the right point, you can get to it with only one or two street crossings, on relatively little-traveled streets, though. It's not quite as disastrously bad as needing to get into (say) Crate & Barrel which is in the far corner of the place from the parking garage. If you can give this mall a miss, do. If you can't, try the parking garage (and give the pedestrians a miss, if you drive through the lots - we all like living, even if going to this mall doesn't show it!). They do have valet parking (which I've never used), but please skip that (unless you have an Audi or Porsche, I guess, since according to their website you'd get free valet parking then...) - giving them money for setting up such a crappy lot just encourages this kind of idiocy. read more

I love this beautiful outdoor Shopping Centre. It has a lot of major shops as well as popular ones. They also now have the hard to find Brandy Melville which is our L.A area favorite. I haven't been to the movie theater here but it looks very enticing and unique, it's not a typical chain AMC type. I noticed it because we frequent the California Pizza Kitchen next door. One thing that needs improving is possibly parking and traffic flow. It's not too bad, there is a multi level parking garage yet somehow it can be a struggle on crowded days. All in all, this is a beautiful place to do some shopping and dining. read more

Wow, this is one of those incredibly nice malls. They built in plenty of parking, but it still fills up. We got here around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and we felt like we scored just getting a spot on the absolute outer edge of the lot. Packed, even at that hour. They have a bunch of custom architecture that, for a mall, is fairly cool. There's a huge pergola in the middle of one of the pedestrian concourses, and it's actually really pretty. There are tons of bistro tables under it, and rumor has it they roll out space heaters in the wintertime. There are multiple security guards on foot patrol all the time, and everything everywhere you look is sparkling clean. The things that a mall can do as a landlord are rather few in number, at least in terms of what the casual shopper might notice. But this place does them and does them well. The shops are mostly specialty, and mostly high-end. Lots of costly home decorations and the like. There's a Whole Foods, and there are a few of the more-palatable chain restaurants. There's a gimongous 18-screen movie theater. Odds are, even if your inclination is to support small local independent businesses, the work they've done here to sell you stuff will occasionally draw you here for something. And there's no shame in that. It's a very well-run establishment. read more

I convinced my partner that I wanted to check this place out under the deluded notion that it had something to offer. I dunno, something out of the mainstream. I have to say this is a beautiful little outdoor mall. There is covered parking in the Garage,(2 story,I think maybe3). We were on the first floor. Lots of choices for food. We ended up choosing a little Kiosk type place, if you can call it that. It was very good with lovely outdoor seating. Since the weather was so grand in Oregon it was a pleasure to walk around in the outdoors. They had lovely huge baskets of flowers hanging everywhere, as well as statues and plants. Very peaceful and charming. many shops to choose from as well. I love taking advantage of the no sales tax. Tigard is a nice little stop on your adventure, and I would visit this Outdoor mall again. read more

I worked at Bridgeport for 5 months and I loved it! If you don't mind high end shopping that is fo' sho' suburban-aimed. There is a variety of food choices and they have an awesome movie theater. Paradise Bakery & Cafe -- is delish -- the perfect soup, sandwich, salad place. Tutto Bene has out of this world gelato. Pastini has really low priced pasta dishes that are still delish. Blue Tangerine is a Mediterranean restaurant that has the best hummus I've ever eaten. As for shopping if you have the moolah it has a great selection: Nau, Banana Republic, BCBG, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel & Coach. The movie theater also has a 3-D screen. read more

Bridgeport Village offers something that no other shopping locale in Oregon does: a shopping experience Come here for anything: your choice of great restaurants, imax/movie theater, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, the new store NAU, White House Black Market, J.Crew, J.Jill, The Container Store, Cold Water Creek Spa, etc... The list goes on. Sure, some might complain that packs of women are meandering all over and parking is hard to find--but the reason is--it helps turn shopping into a fun day-long excursion, complete with a rest in the court-yard at a cafe table, lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant (Blue Tangerine), and browsing for books at Borders if you get through all the other specialty stores. It's a bit small for a mall and the selection is limited but they have most everything you could need. Froyo shop (with another across the street), some decent food, movie theatre, apple store. The place we go most now it the new Barnes & Nobles. It's huge and they have a great toy section for kids. There is a small playground for the kids and a covered area for eating outdoors with heaters. They have umbrellas placed strategically around for when it rains. The parking can kind of suck sometimes..... especially if you don't go to the parking structure. read more

Great place for date night with the movie theatre and several restaurants. The restaurants here are super mainstream. Wish they would get something a little different, like not a chain. There are a ton of shops here but they are the more upscale stores. I come here for the movie theatre, the book store, and the sushi place(which is the best place to eat while here) Sometimes I need to go to other places like Anthropologie of Sur La Table. This is a nice shopping area without any big department store anchor. There are some nice shops but most of the local shops have left leaving the place to the big chain stores. It is supposed to feel like you are shopping in a town. That isn't necessarily a plus in my book. In Oregon If i'm going to shop at mall stores I would usually rather have a roof to keep dry. That said it is working. Probably because there are no other good malls in the area. Also it does have a few chains that have this for they're only Portland area store, Crate and Barrel, California Pizza, The container store and the Saks version of the Nordstrom Rack come to mind. I do come here some as the location is convenient for family meet ups. Note: Parking here is awful I usually have to drive to the back to park meaning both ways crossing the mall and its pedestrians...who thought of that? And how the old downtown areas of these cities are all drying up and dying off? Let's make a mall that feels like a traditional downtown area. The J.Crew store does not have men's line. Banana Republic is just bananas. Blander than bland. Urban Outfitters have the funkier items but come on! I've never seen an overload on plaids. TONS of western shirts. And a good looking shirt that I thought was flannel. Sadly they are not. They offer umbrellas if its rainy like tonight. But the place is literally a ghost town and most of the stores close early. The restaurants are pretty decent. Parking is not that difficult to find once you know what time of the day to go. *** It is already a given that the location is pretty nice and expensive SO DO NOT EXPECT BIG BARGAINS AND OLD NAVY CRAP here.
