Went here for lunch for the 1st time. Was drawn here from the good reviews. Started with the Bridges Famous Loaded Fries. We loved it. I ordered the Bridges Burger. Jr ordered the Jalapeño Burger. Bridges was recommended to us by the staff at S&B Tubing in Albany. After tubing the Sugar River, it was a 15-minute drive and well worth it! While not much to look at from the outside, the inside was clean, spacious, with plenty of seating. And, the food was AWESOME...one of the best burgers I've ever had. The patty had a nice seared crunch, the toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the beer fries were a great addition. Top it all off with some fun craft beers on tap or an ice cold can of PBR...and you're in Wisconsin heaven. A shout out, too, to the super-friendly, very welcoming, and efficient servers. read more

The food here is very very great quality, excellent and you won't leave hungry. A bit on the high side for pricing, it seems the previous owner set prices to compete with Madison prices. Definitely a clean place definitely great staff, the new owner is fantastic and she even works as a bartender and waitress and does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend the patty melt... And if you want to go all out and have a great meal order the patty melt, add jalapeños if you wish, and order the beer fries with a side of spicy queso to dip them in... Very very tasty read more

Wow did I say Wow imagine having the best hamburger you ever tasted cooked to perfection! A clean, spacious and family friendly neighborhood bar. My patty melt was the best I've ever tasted with crisp marbled rye with grilled sautéed onions and Wisconsin cheddar over the best beef burger I ever tasted. My husbands burger was so succulent, juicy and cooked to perfection. We live an hour away and will be back soon for the Friday night fish fry and Saturday prime rib and steak specials with a salad bar. Just down the street is Decatur dairy which is where their cheese curds come from. Anyone within an hour or two drive should put this on your agenda to stop here and enjoy the perfect burger. We were looking for a place to watch the Badger game before we had to be at Sugar River Raceway last Saturday and stumbled upon Bridges. I think we drove past it a couple of times - not a lot of signage in the front. The inside is a lot bigger than you'd expect and it has a nice layout, very open with lots of table choices. The bar is quite large too and no matter where you chose to sit you can see a TV. The bartender greeted us quickly and was super nice. We both ended up ordering burgers because they were recommended but their menu looked to have a good selection of typical bar food. The burgers were huge and SO good - topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. They had two options for fries; regular or beer-battered. Obviously we went beer-battered and they did not disappoint. There was plenty of them, as well. People started trickling in during the game but I noticed that they had quite a few to-go orders so I'm guessing people around town really enjoy their food as well. Free shots for Badger touch-downs. We ended up coming back after racing with a some of our friends. Again we were quickly greeted and our orders were taken. I believe more fries were ordered along with some mini corn dogs. The drinks and food were both reasonably priced. Atmosphere is nice - not too loud and it's very clean. We were passing through the area and stopped at Bridges for lunch. Their food is amazing!!! We had super-fresh burgers, beer fries, and my husband had homemade turtle cheesecake for dessert. The staff is excellent and very friendly. After raving about the food we were told that they use fresh ground beef and make the patties for burgers by hand, which definitely comes through in the flavor. I called the Bridges to see if they would feed 20 people after a company outing at the Sugar River raceway on a Saturday evening. Not only did they set aside space for us... The service was great, the food was better than everyone's expectation, the staff all had a smile and was kind, and the drinks stayed flowing. The rest of the place was hopping. It's a very classy bar to go to for Brodhead. But I've run into the problem where, generally, the people that go there are jerks. Just don't wear boots and camp there and you're fine I suppose. read more

Was in town today for my daughters basketball tournament. We called them and asked if they could take 20 people and they said yes. Arrived in 10 min and they called in extra people to help. The food was very good. I had 5 star reviews on the prime rib sandwich, chicken sandwich, and turkey club. Good device and good food. read more
