It's really hard to find any kind of place these days these days that has decent service to the public but the office staff (I think they were called counselors?) went above and beyond for us. The grounds are beautiful and you can tell that the outside workers take pride in what they do. The office staff were helpful, and not pushy at all. They listened to us and were mostly concerned with helping us get what we wanted and not on what someone else might think we should have. The prices for the plots were a lot better than the other two places we talked to and we had a lot of nice areas to choose from. Only thing I don't like is that they lock the gate when it gets dark at night so I can't come visit after work. Most people wouldn't care but I work an odd schedule. Wish they would leave it open all the time. Thank you to the staff for guiding our family through what was a very hard time.

I've been lied to by two different employees who both told me that they have ordered the death date marker for my mom's grave marker. She was buried mid July and today I'm told it was never ordered. I spoke with them last week and was told they had it and would have it added to her marker! If you must use this place for burial of your loved one, be prepared for lies and disappointment from the staff.

The first time was for my father, and his wife made all of the arrangements. I was involved primarily as support. It was a nightmare. The funeral home tried every trick in the book to upsell her services, flower arrangements, and caskets/urns. When my mother passed away a few weeks ago, I was referred to Salmon Funeral Home. I called and then went in person, dealing primarily with Kyle Kiser. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was phenomenal. Kyle walked my sister and me through the entire process and explained all of the fees, necessary services, and what to expect, down to the filing of the insurance policy. He was "Johnny on the Spot" the entire time and never missed a beat in keeping us informed. He never once tried to upsell any service or offering and was completely transparent from beginning to end.
