I had been with this Vet for 10 years. With two of my dogs. They want you to feel they are doing something. But William had hip issues. they wanted to do injections. They over injected him 4 times and then 3 times in the wrong knee. They weren't going off anything. He could barely walk was in so much pain. He was dying & they wouldn't do anything. Hope a District Manager talked with the 4 woman who run the call center. There job is to just lie to you & get you to go to another location. Hope called left a very rude voicemail about "I'm never Happy" so just best to "Part Ways" That is a INSANE response. when they admitted to doing it. Then tried to lie about it. Had to get him to another vet who took great care to get him back on track. & tons of real fish. They blocked Me they blocked my partner & then blocked my mother. she couldn't even get her meds for her dog. but her dog started to get better. the food he was prescribed was making him very sick! This company ONLY WANTS MONEY! They DONT care about your animal. They just dont want to be sued! So they block you! Then they tried to send me a whole new piece of paper! that they were suppose to be following. weirdly all in the exact same pen & hand writing! No good try I got the original one first! Do your research a lot of rich older ppl go here & don't have the knowledge and they are taken advantage of. it's truly horrible. I stayed here because my mom doesn't like change. They blocked her for No reason. & me for no reason. They are doing this to people left & right right now. Because ppl are catching on. we aren't as stupid anymore. educate yourself find a vet that you see every time. & will listen to what you want for your dog. They want to trap you here. And they have done so much more but I let it happen because I don't want confrontation! But after that people and the Better business bureau needed to know. But they already know! Had positive experiences at two other Pet Wellness locations so took my dog here when she was sick because they could get her in quickly. We were one of the last appointments on a Saturday and that's exactly how we were treated. I won't go into the details, but there was SO much wrong during our visit. Ultimately, the vet suspected lepto and said she'd start my dog on treatment since the test would take several days to come back. Was going to charge $366 for an antibiotic that is less than 30 at the drugstore so I asked for the script instead. Tech brought me a script for a different antibiotic. When I questioned the discrepancy (as well as why neither antibiotic is the drug of choice for lepto according to a quick google search), I was basically told "sorry, the vets have left for the day." After more than 24 hours on the antibiotic my dog was worse, so I took her to a vet urgent care. Showed them her bloodwork from Bridgeview and was told my dog could NOT recover with those kidney values without being hospitalized. Took her directly to the full service veterinary hospital who agreed (and when they retested, her already sky high kidney values HAD gotten worse.) She spent the next 10 days on IV antibiotics and fluids, and will likely now have permanent kidney damage. We almost lost our dog by trusting her care to Bridgeview. read more

This clinic was recommended to me by my family. One of my cats had badly matted fur due to a poor attempt to bathe her myself and I took her to Bridgeview to have the matted fur removed. When I drove up, there was a huge whiteboard sitting outside with a "welcome" greeting, listing all of the pets' names that they would see that day. That was a personal touch that brought a smile to my face as soon as I arrived. Being my first visit, I had to meet with the doctor, Dr. Amanda Rogers, and she was very sweet and seemed genuinely concerned about my cat's health and my concerns. Everyone there was so nice, professional, and exuded that energy that calms pets in such an environment. I think the staff got more cuddles from my cat than I do at home. Specifically, Chloe, the groomer, was so skilled that my cat turned to putty in her hands, and because the treatment was not an overall grooming, but just a small area on the back, near the tail, that the clinic didn't have to sedate my cat, which saved me money and peace of mind (as sedation comes with it's own risks). The place was busy when I dropped off my cat and when I picked her up. I think this is a sign of a good vet - lots of business. About two days after the service, I actually got a text from the clinic checking up on my cat's condition. I recommend this clinic. Pet Wellness Clinic, the company, has several locations and shares a database, so you can choose different locations for different needs (my cat had to go to the Fischers location for grooming, but my other cats will visit the location near 71st and Binford because it is closer to my house, for regular check-ups). read more

We took our dog in because she was acting lethargic and the vet didn't even bother to take her temperature. 12 hours later on a Saturday evening we ended up at the emergency vet due to our dog getting worse; during the initial exam the ER vet discovered our dog had a fever, and her first question was if the vet at Bridgeview had noted a fever. Because this happened over a weekend, we incurred additional costs at the ER vet due to it being after hours care. I called Bridgeview and all I asked for was my money back from their visit - I didn't even try to ask for the extra costs we had to cover at the ER. I was denied a full refund. read more

As others stated, horrible. Never in my life as a pet owner have I taken a furry family member to a vet and the vet not try to talk to or pet the dog. Yes my 18 pound 8 year old shelter dog I've had 2 months is scared of new people, and I told them he's a go slow dog. That doesn't mean you ignore the dog. Dogs deserve dignity too. Compassion fatigue over the past couple years is real, and as a nurse, I empathize; if you cannot take 2 minutes to try to let a dog get comfortable, you need a day or two off! Never been hard sold things at a vet office- worse than buying a car. What good is a membership when I travel for work, and my home is 5 hours away? Yet I was pressured multiple times. I had to strongly advocate for labs for my dog, because I want to try to find root cause-for that the vet scolded me. Dumping weeks of antibiotics and antifungals in a dog over and over isn't good, especially if you can find the root cause. Ever heard of antibiotic stewardship? Everything felt like a money grab here. I had no problem paying the ridiculous price for labs, but what I was told was to be done wasn't! Tried calling first thing in morning after getting results after closing, to discuss why labs weren't all done, but was told managers were doing check ins. To say I wasn't wowed is a complete understatement. Sorry your clients and their furry family members are a bother, and sorry advocating for your pet is unacceptable. The only positive is Kent was wonderful, and same day new client appointments were available, but I'd have been better waiting to get in somewhere else, with compassionate vets, and prices that aren't 2-3x everywhere else, and you get what you pay for. Update: office manager Emma called me back, said I told them not to do thyroid tests. False, I said allergy labs wouldn't need done if there was a thyroid issue. Told they could run the labs I was told would be done, but I would have to take dog back in and pay again. Vet explicitly said TSH, T3, T4. They did T4. Now want $200 more to do what they messed up. Then said the vet didn't talk to or attempt to have my dog get comfortable with her because she told me to talk to him. Unreal. When you pay for a service, you have every right to receive a service, and receive empathetic care by a provider-epic fail on both parts. read more

This is the worst place to take your pet to. I was willing to give them another shot but they told me I was not allowed to ever take my pet there again. It all stemmed from me asking a receptionist a question. She actually yelled at me and the only excuse from Dr. Graves was that she was going through cancer. Well, I lost my wife and future kids to cancer so that is no excuse. Please keep in mind that I have served. 2 tours. This is what I come back to? I tried to give them another shot and the woman actually raised her voice with me and said "did you not listen to your message?...we don't wan't you..." Who do these people think they are? They can talk to anyone anyway they want. That woman, when I responded actually hung up on me. She was at the Pet Wellness Clinic (317-516-5921) location on Fall Creek Road (May God be aware of this. I don't wish anything bad on anyone as I fought for our rights to free speech. Not to be treated like nothing. So much for my service in the military and even in local law enforcement. So much for my pet, too. They could care less if he dies. Not Christian people and unappreciative of those who have served as well as first responders. One thing I do know. Karma. God. Don't mess with either. I am a good man. Please, don't risk your pets, which are all I have left in this world so they are my kids, to terrible, nasty and the opposite of what God would want you to be, to them. read more

I took my dogs here for a little over a year. The care was fine, nothing to be crazy about. A few months in they started having issues with my acct. they put my dads dog on my acct. along with my 2 dogs. I called to have it moved to his own when I got reminders for his dogs appts. They removed my 2 dogs and put them on his acct leaving my dads dog on my acct. I called again to fix it. They put one dog back on mine and left two on his... then again called until finally I had just my dogs and he had his. Then they would tell me I was due for exams and an appt. So I scheduled only to get in there and be asked what we were being seen for... and at this time I sat for 45 minutes waiting for a tech until being seen just to find out that my dog didn't need to be seen for anything. When their animals came up this year the price had gone up by almost 200$ for my two dogs to get basic shots and exams. I asked what had changed and she said they wanted people to do the membership because it was a better deal. The membership is almost 700$ per pet, I have 2 pets so looking at 1400$ for the membership compared to the new price of 600$ total for them to have their basic shots 1x per year (which is all we go for and the membership doesn't cover anything special). She couldn't give me an answer on where the 200$ jump for the annuals came from and we left. Then when we went to switch vets it took over a month, me calling 3x and the new vet calling 2x to get my dogs records sent over. read more

Even though we bark a lot, (what can we say, we're Dachshunds) we love when it's time to go see the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Bridgeview! Parking is super easy and convenient. We know where we are as soon as mommy pulls up. They treat us like princesses every time. They spoil us with treats and lovings. Today, we even got a pup cup to enjoy while they did our biannual check up!!! They know our names as soon as we walk in and you can even see our names listed on the welcome sign in the lobby area! One time daddy took us and we came back with super nicely trimmed nails and a cool bandana and mommy about melted when she saw us. We always feel so special when we come here and that makes mommy ultra happy and relieved that there are people she can trust to take good care of us! There's hardly ever any wait time but one time we were able to check out the super cool fish tank that they have inside! We found Nemo and Dori and were super entertained by the fishies while mommy made herself a fresh cup of coffee from their Keurig machine. It's always so sanitary and clean and the staff is always in a good mood and don't really show that they are annoyed with our barks hehe. I know we can be a lot to handle sometimes but it's just our way of showing the staff at Bridgeview Pet Wellness Clinic our love and excitement to visit!!! I have been heartbroken the last two months over the death of my dog. My dog had an ear infection and my reg vet was booked. I did not realize my vet and 18 other clinics are owned by same company. I was able to get in the next day at Bridgeview. Dr said our dog we have had for 13 years needed antibiotics, ear spray and steroid shot. WOW, our dog the day before had shook her head and one ear was slightly red. We told Dr we would fill script through Chewy. Dr insisted on the steroid shot because according to her would give her relief. We felt like we would be terrible pet owners if we didn't at least do shot now. We felt pressured. When we got home our dog slept for hours and wasn't interested in eating dinner. She was limping when we wanted her to go out before bed. We didn't know what to do and we never thought about taking her to ER for animals. In the middle of the night she cried out. When we got to her she had passed. I called their main number and someone called me back and said Bridgeview was closed but they could call me back on Monday. We took our beautiful dog to the Humane Society. When Bridgeview did call me back it was to tell me they were sorry my dog died but it was nothing they did. My dog walks 2-4 miles a day and very healthy. Our dog had been to her reg yearly visit a couple months before. Goes to vet for an ear infection and dies hours later. And yes, they did charge the $125 for the appointment and shot they gave her that day. I don't how this could have happened. I feel that if she wouldn't have had that shot she would still be with us. Bridgeview's response to my pet dying hours after giving her a shot and just saying sorry but it was nothing they did was cold and uncaring. Shame on you! read more

I find it very interesting how two of my pets who I choose to take here died. The other three who I took to Parkside are still very much alive. My cat fluffy died about seven years ago when she came in for a routine surgery and didn't wake up. My puppy died a year ago and 4 months prior to her death she was constantly trembling and we told the vets about it and they said it was nothing. I've had two bad experiences here so I definitely wouldn't recommend taking your pets here. I have become very close to the staff over the last three weeks due my dog being attacked by another dog. I was in and out probably 2-3 times a week and they always were friendly, warm, and caring. Never thought we would pay 30-40 percent more for services than we did in Chicago. Don't go here unless you have a lot of money. The vaccine package might be cheap, but they will tell you that you need to buy several joint supplements that cost over $600 a month. And when you can't afford that, they tell you that you aren't the best parent for your pet. It's all about the money here. My dog's knees (CCLs) are actually completely healed, and they tried to say they weren't. I was told they had to recommend things because of their oath, but it's really because they want more money in their pockets. I was told I was a bad pet parent because I didn't have an extra $600. It's a shame I can't reply to their response. I have no reason to lie. Thank God I found a reliable vet elsewhere. Your dog doesn't need $600+ per month of vitamins. And my dog's CCLs are completely fine. They weren't competent when I was there, and I will never go back. read more

We have been using Bridgeview for almost 8 years now and have like it. I believe Dr. Graves saved my dog from a life-threatening infection after we left our dog at a boarding place in Noblesville. The care facility was not forth-coming with what happened to our dog while in their care. However, Dr. Graves was honest with me. He told me his opinions openly for which I was most grateful. I took my dog in for a dental cleaning. The staff was friendly and explained things thoroughly. They were kind and followed up twice after the procedure to make sure my dog was fine. We moved here from Michigan 4 weeks ago and needed a vet as close as possibly last night do to our miniature schnauzer all of a sudden struggling to breath. We googled and found Bridgeview and literally ran into their office and they swooped our baby up and immediately took her and started working on her. I've been to several vet offices around town and Bridgeview is one of the best with the friendliest staff for grooming and the vet office. They give a personal touch with the named welcome sign out front, the animal pic on their records, the get well card after surgery, and check up phone call. I would absolutely recommend them, especiallly Jason for grooming and Lydia at the vet's office! The customer service is great and the attention the patients is exceptional, but the pricing is a little steep. I think it's one of those situations where you get what you pay for. They do pay special attention to let you know how much you've spent along the way for services so you can opt in or out so I really appreciate that rather than being surprised with a big bill at the end. read more

Do NOT get your dog groomer here!! My poor goldendoodle has been ruined by their impatient and unkind staff. Our pup has been coming in to be groomed since a baby and it just kept getting worse. He came home two cuts ago with razor burn so bad in his potty patch and ended up in the vets office with an infection! Fast forward to this last attempted cut and he was so scared he wouldn't let them take his collar off. And I got a phone call to pick him up because he was being "aggressive!" I'm pretty sure they didn't even try because we brought him home and cut his hair ourselves with no problem, other then our untrained hand. I should have left years ago. Be warned! read more

I always had a good experience in the grooming salon. However, I had an unexpected experience and this is something you guys need to take action to avoid this from happening. I took my dogs for grooming yesterday. At the end of the day I got a call from then grooming salon to tell me they made a mistake and actually administered all the vaccines to one of my dogs. But the problem is, he did not need the vaccines at all, they were all up to date from three months before. Plus I never authorize any medical service, and I brought the vaccine record to you when I checked in. I always groom him there, but his vet is a different place. First I got mad, then I got worried. Please review your procedures to avoid these mistakes because there is no good excuse for a mix up like this. read more
