We usually go to a different Pet Palace in Indy, but decided to try this Fishers location because it was on the way to our destination. We (and our doggie) had a great experience! Our dog doesn't usually like being boarded because it can be an overly stimulating experience. But he came back to us happy and relaxed. He got some one-on-one time, walks and a bath before we picked him up. Our dog likes interacting with people more than other dogs, and that's what he got at Pet Palace Fishers. We've gone to them for almost a year now with little to no problems BUT this last boarding session we payed $900 in cash. We didn't get a receipt printed out and that's on us but apparently they didn't record the transaction. They called us saying we hadn't paid. We told them we did and they said they would look into it. We got a call back saying that they figured it out and we didn't have to pay. Now, two weeks later they call us again saying they are going to take us to collections if we don't pay AGAIN. If you don't want to pay for things twice don't go here. read more

I boarded my 2 cats there and was not happy with them at all. When we first looked at the accommodations the Cat Room smelled clean and somewhat fresh. On pick up the room stank to high heaven! Most important issue was them sending back all the food we sent with them. When the cats didn't eat first night(expected), they decided to switch them to all Friskies canned food. My cats have only been fed ultra high quality food, I consider Friskies the McDonalds of cat food. A total switch of foods should never be done abruptly to any animal, pet ownership 101. They said I did agree they could "entice" them with their food if they weren't eating. To me "entice" meant putting a little on top or mixed in, not taking it upon themselves to do a total diet change. They never even tried offering their dry food again, just sent it all home. Luckily they were only their 3 nights. When I checked in on them I was told everything fine, their eating ok, all great. Needless to say my cats won't be back. read more

I was very impressed with Pet Palace. I couldn't get in at my normal kennel, so tried Pet Palace. I got the last spot for the period I was traveling I'm glad I did! I was surprised at the number of people working. They have a large staff...and they are very friendly! We bring my dog,Panda, there a ton i totally appreciate the staff they are so kind and helpful. We had a surprise emergency need for a trip out of state and i immediately thought to call Pet Palace to take our dog to make sure there would be space. Because its around New Years we were very worried that there wouldn't be space and we wouldn't have anyone to take care of our only 3 year old dog, and trust me he doesn't take getting left alone well. My very energetic dog loves going to Pet Palace when we board. We have used them since they opened and they are always warm and welcoming to your pets when they arrive. I have never experienced an unpleasant staff member which is extremely important to me when leaving our furry baby for overnight stays. This was our first boarding experience with our cat, Tommy Boy. I was nervous about it because we hadn't left him since we got him a year and a half ago. I had read good reviews and visited in person to see the cat facilities. He wouldn't leave his crate when we got there and the girls took it apart to lift the top off and he could stay feeling secure in the bottom. I called after a few days to check on him and got a good report. They said he wasn't eating as much as they'd like but they would entice him, and that's normal for a new boarder. Otherwise, he enjoyed his play time and was doing fine. When we picked him up 12 days later, he was comfortably sleeping in the window of his townhome. He seemed his normal self and it was a simple process to get on our way. We will definitely use them again and know we can enjoy our trip without worrying about Tommy. Although we still love our local neighborhood dog hotel & spa, Pet Palace is our go-to for longer stays. (We even drive 30 mins out of the way because it's worth it!) They do whatever they can to make room for your dog even if only a slight chance on a busy weekend. They come across very organized and well managed. My dog is always happy and loves the one on one playtime. They are always asking what else they can do to accommodate our dogs specific needs or wants and I can't compliment them enough. My cat Leo had a wonderful time. He was well cared for,I was told by them he was the sweetest , most well behaved cat they had ever had . They were able to feed him his raw food without problem. This was my first time taking my dog to Pet Palace and I was impressed. Our last experience at a different groomer, she was there for almost 7 hours. It typically takes only 3-4 hours for a full groom because she is a large dog-- 75lbs. She also left anxious and shaking. That's when I knew it was time to look elsewhere. Needless to say, I was a little nervous trusting someone new with my dog, but I am so glad I chose Pet Palace! The staff was so kind to my dog and I. She was there for 3.5 hours for a full groom (bath, cut, nails, and special shedding treatment). When I picked her up, she looked so happy and she wasn't nervous or shaking at all! They even put bows in her hair that say "Birthday Princess" to celebrate her birthday this weekend. I am impressed by Pet Palace in Fishers and will definitely be returning! read more

I called a day after submitting a grooming request for two cats just to see what they had available. The lady on the phone said that their groomers were 'extremely strict' on cats and do not want to risk shaving cats or matting. She referred me to the Indianapolis location who she said is less strict without asking any information on my cats (hair type or otherwise). Being automatically denied a service that I was willing to pay for is extremely unprofessional. Especially without even asking anything about my cats. After explaining that my cats are medium-ish haired cats and don't have any matts and that I only want them brushed/de-shed (they shed a lot for the length of hair they have) she then scheduled an appointment and apologized, which i appreciate, however don't deny business from someone without getting all the facts first. At this point I do not feel confident in the ability of the store to take care of my cats and will be canceling my appointment. read more

We have boarded our dog at Pet Palace Fishers twice now and both times I have been amazed at how happy he is coming home. In the past with other providers, he (and our previous dog) would mope around for days but with Pet Palace he acts like nothing changed at all. He is just as happy as can be! My 16 year old cat did not like being boarded for the first time and was VERY angry for several days. The manager, Jill, called me to see if Belle had a favorite food to make her happy. I said French fries, so Jill and her staff went to McDonalds to get her fries and that made a big difference! My dogs were there for daycare for 1 day. I dropped them off in the morning and picked them up before they close just because I had to make a trip to Chicago. Before I brought my dogs there, I went in to check the facility. It was nice and staff were friendly. I thought my dogs would have time there. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I don't think they actually let my dogs out to potty. After I picked dogs up, I walked them immediately and my girl dog peed on the grass for a minute. This was a sign that she hadn't pee for the whole day. I usually let her out 3 times a day so that she doesn't have to hold for a long time. And this was main reason I sent them to pet palace for daycare. Apparently, they are not gaining my business again. There are so many daycare facilities, I would take them somewhere else. read more

We love Pet Palace! The staff in Fishers is super friendly and accommodating. Only suggestion is to take daily pictures and post them on social media or send them to owners. Our old boarding facility would post daily pictures and videos, including pics of dogs that didn't participate in group play. We loved that added service! Or even just have public webcams throughout the facility online all of the time- that would be AMAZING! We don't have the option to add on a webcam in the larger suites our 2 dogs stay in. When we are gone for weeks at a time, we wish we could see pics of our fur babies. read more

I gave them 3 stars because in spite of everything- my dog looked good. My dog was supposed to be dropped off at 7a. I got there at 650. Both of the girls at the desk were super annoyed and being rude. After the one walked away with a new employee that walked in, I pointed out that my dog was supposed to be dropped off at 7. She said rudely that it was 650. With a little acid in my voice, I said- most places want u to drop off a little early especially if it's ur first visit in case there are questions. She could tell I was getting pissed so then she started trying to be nice. "Oh that's ok- let us get u going." If it wasn't for my dog desperately needing a groom and me being too busy to make an appt with Petsuites- I'd have walked out. Needless to say- this was my first and last visit. I almost forgot- I was also told that the only reason their door was unlocked allowing me to get in at the pointed out time of 650 was so their new employee could get in. NICE! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this facility! I took my dog in to be groomed and the next night, he ran head first into a bush filled with tiny burrs! The burrs were imbedded in his face and ear. I tried to get them out and got bit for my efforts. The following morning I called Pet Palace to see if they could help. They didn't hesitate to tell me to bring him right in. Dixie worked on him and was able to remove all the burrs without stressing my little guy out! Everyone there was so helpful, and my dog just loves Dixie! read more
