This is a must visit on any trip to Portland (or once a week if you live here)! I visited recently,…read moreon a day that was heavy. Lark went above and beyond, listening, really hearing, and making suggestions as I asked for them. I ended up doing a 30 minute session on their sound bed and it was unbelievable. I left with a handful of special crystals, perfectly times written resources from Lark, my new favorite candle, and a much lighter heart and spirit. Whenever you need some love, light, or affirmation...this is your space. Incredible selection of just what you need, unbelievable people, and great value.

Upon stepping inside, you are immediately enveloped in a welcoming atmosphere, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and variety of offerings. As you leisurely explore the store, you can browse through a captivating selection of clothing and crystals. While I personally have a penchant for books, I appreciate that this store caters to a diverse range of interests rather than solely focusing on magick, distinguishing itself from other similar establishments. Although the collection of books is not extensive, each title is intriguing and it's easy to find something that piques your curiosity. Moreover, the customer service here is top-notch, with the staff being exceptionally kind a

I found this place on Atlas Obscura and I felt like visiting with my partner and our dog. To our…read moreluck, our well behaved dog got us 1 free admission! We spent about 15-30 minutes in here just taking it all in and reading as much information as we could. There are plenty of photo ops as well as interactive things to play with. We were lucky to find a parking spot a few steps away and paid about $1-$2 to park for almost an hour. The person behind the front desk was kind and welcoming. The merch selection was vast and interesting. I just wish they had a photo booth because it would tie into the place perfectly. Overall, highly recommend as it is a fun spot to hangout for under an hour.

Lots of odd displays, creepy mannequins, aliens, Bigfoot stuff, and random photo ops. It doesn't take long to go through, but it's entertaining and definitely memorable. The gift shop is actually one of the best parts--tons of strange, funny, and unique items you won't see anywhere else. Staff was chill and friendly, and the whole place feels like it doesn't take itself too seriously. Not a full-on museum experience, but if you're killing time, visiting Portland, or just want something different, it's worth checking out. Great for pictures!!

If I could give it ten stars, I would. So my better half told me about this place and that may have…read morebeen part of why I picked a hotel where I did. So that we would just be around the corner and popping in here would be easy during our stay. Luckily I was able to come in on two different days, and at different times! We got both the night life experience and the day time experience. I think I preferred the day time because it wasn't as busy. Night means cover charge ($4) and bag check. And no kids. You might see some kids during the day. What a cool place, with yummy drinks (no food), and all my favorite arcade games, and then some! They operate on a card system, so no coins needed when you visit. My pinball wizard friend had been traveling arcade ready with coins in her bag, but it turns out they weren't needed. Ground Kontrol supplies free lockers to store your stuff; just follow the instructions and don't forget your code. I learned a lot about pinball during my visits here, and played more pinball than I usually do because of that. I mean, why not? I played one of the newest pinball games, released within weeks of my visit, which was Pokemon themed, and I played one of the more vintage pinball machines, Xenon. And everything in between! It was awesome. $20 loaded onto a card will get you 15ish games, but there is a different cost depending on which game you're playing. I was satisfied with the value and would, and did! come back again. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! Make sure to check out the whole place, as it's bigger than you think and there are more games (mostly pinball) upstairs.

A little smaller than I was expecting. The place is really cool tho…read more It seems like majority of the games were pinball machines or old school classic arcade games. There's a parking lot right across the street for easy parking. I didn't try any food or drinks from the bar this time around but the staff at the entrance were nice and friendly. Overall, this place was a bit underwhelming but if you're into drinking and pinball machines, this is the place! I just wish they had a little more variety with their games.

Great indoor jungle gym designed to look like a castle. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are…read morestanding next to the entrance of the play structure but there is no door/gate. There is parking on the street only. They have a rather large cafe and bar (beef and wine) with more offerings then most places and not just gross fried food. The seating area for parents/cafe is as big as the play structure. It's massive. The open a " garage door " to help keep air circulating. There are also several TVs on for parents. Generally speaking, this is a really wonderful establishment that is suited at catering for adults…read moreand children alike. There is a large indoor play structure and it's big enough to accommodate dozens and dozens of kids. Before you can send your child to play in the structure, you do have to fill out a basic waiver online. It's a flat fee of $15 per kid for the entire day regardless of how long you stay. Kids do have to remove their shoes before they enter so I highly recommend that you bring at least one good pair of socks. For parents, there are plenty of tables out front of the structure, where you can observe your child while they play. The tables don't really allow for unobstructed visualization of your kid, but you can see them every so often as they approach the front of the structure. There is a full snack bar that includes your basic treats and some simple foods like pizza and appetizers. There's also wine by the glass and beers on tap. There is a small dedicated parking lot in the back of the facility, but it fills up very quickly on weekends. Otherwise, you're subject to to street parking which has hourly costs. The bathrooms are mostly clean and they accommodate children, as expected. The food is above average and the prices are fair. The place does feel a little bit chaotic at peak hours, but my child always has a lot of fun and I generally don't have to feel too worried about their safety while they play. They have a few dedicated rooms for birthday parties and events, which I have never used. They also have very large garage door panels on the walls that can be opened when the temperatures are warm to lift and allow for better ventilation from the exterior. I do worry a bit about the cleanliness of the entire place and I wish they had more hand sanitizer stations throughout the business. Otherwise, the service is as good as I would hope and it's generally an above average experience for everyone in my family.
