This is by Far the worst gas station that I have ever encountered and I truly mean this. On 1/1/17 went out with my family to enjoy Sausalito pulled into gas station for fuel and use the bathroom. Go inside to check for bathroom to change my 1yr old no bathroom..ok no problem will change him in the car.. literally the Owner comes out to tell me I cant do that there.. NO starts yelling which i then pull out my phone and begin to record him bc I can't believe what I'm experiencing which ofcourse causes him to become even more irrate. I'm so sorry I didn't take a picture of the gas prices here. Five-ninety-something per gallon? I've never seen gas at that price. No! Nyet! Non! Negative! Cancel my order! I'm in town twice a year for dental care as I have been for the past 14 years. Today I was fuming it and really needed gas. For the first time I noticed the prices and decided I'd rather risk running out of gas, calling AAA and being late to work than give these pirates my business. Owner very rude. Was going by and heard owner yelling at a cyclist with his son, who forgot wallet and requested if he could provide some air to fill his bicycle tire after the firework display. The owner yelled at him ." what are you cheap?! Pay the $0.75! Cheap cheap! " omg what a loser the owner is ... Unfriendly to cyclists, rude to locals, no goodwill, .. I'll never go here ! Recently had a terrific experience here. I was fueling my company van and it would not take the gas card that we usually use. Sandra, the station attendant came out several times to assist me with a professional, upbeat attitude. She even printed out a receipt for me and brought it out to me, advising that the one that comes out of the fueling station wasn't as legible. Definitely go anywhere but here for gas or anything else you need. But if you want some entertainment, go interact with the owner who is a moron...but entertaining. Was there a short time ago when my wife pulled over to answer a call from our son. I was in the back seat and daughter in front of our minivan. We were greeted by captain fabulous telling her to get off the property, to which she immediately apologized and started to leave...which prompted a "go now from captain fabulous". This is when i told the guy to chill out to which we received his middle finger salute. My favorite gas station: the gas is cheap, there's rarely a line, they always play classical music and it's close to the waterfront in lovely Sausalito. The only thing that could make this better is the addition of a Japanese convenience store on the premises (with a bun steaming machine). read more

STAY AWAY!!! This is the worst gas station I've ever been to. If I could give it negative stars I would!! Not only is the price of gas there literally highway robbery, but the man who owns it is extremely rude and that's putting it very very mildly. He actually came up to my car, told me to roll my window down so he could yell at me for taking too long putting gas in my car. Unreal!!! That was my first and absolute last visit to that gas station. The attendant who works there was very nice although his boss threatens to fire him for letting me take so long. I was approached by the gas station owner and he literally told me to get the hell out called me every Bitch in the book and pointed his finger all in my face. Wow. These reviews are right. I'm from Boston, staying here about a 5 minute walk away for a little vacation. Needed some supplies so I walked in. Two cokes and two coffee rolls cost me $15. Stay away if you possibly can. Next time I need almost anything, I'll walk the extra half mile to the 7-11 before I go back to this place. If I could give negative stars, I would. Had to call the police over his attempt to charge me more for an item given I'm a woman. The owner literally tried to swap it for a different/higher priced version. I grabbed another one with a similar price as the one I tried to purchase originally and asked him to honor the price. The result? He cursed at me and screamed at me demanding I leave the store. I called the police who came and put him in place. I have never called the police for anything, ever! They asked me if I had knowledge of this guy's price of gas and that he had been on some scam artist show and had already earned his poor reputation.I assured them I had and was simply making a store purchase (jumper cables). stay away, severely overpriced even for Sausalito. I was rang up for my items, a drink and cigs, the price was like $13. I said the price outloud to myself in confusion, the clerk yelled at me "WELCOME TO SAUSALITO!". I work across the street and told him that and that I am familiar with the area, he asked where I work? so I told him, he said "awe fuck that place is shit". I told the people at work what had happened and I was told he used to come in and cause problems regularly and had been banned. Went here June 2016. The last thing I expected when stopping for gas on vacation was a rant on "local scumbags" lol. My friend and I stopped for gas here before heading back to our campsite. This was the only gas station we'd seen on our trip so far, and as we're not from the area we assumed most things in the bay area were expensive - $4 for gas in Sausalito, where the wealthy live? Seemed probable to us. We parked, went in. Asked for $20 on pump # please. This is when it got interesting. Guy asks if we're from around here, we say "no." He asks if we know how he knew that. He said it's because we were polite, and that everyone in the town were rude scumbags. This turned into an enlightening 5-minute conversation about how locals in Sausalito were "f'd in the head," as he describes. My friend and I just asked questions and laughed the whole time, this dude was crazy haha. Anyways, I'm sure the other reviews here are valid on him actually being the scumbag, but for this instance he was...not rude with us lol. But then again, we did just get scalped like potatoes. The owner called me a bitch yesterday because I didn't have quarters for the air. I parked my bike outside the store and went in. I was going to buy stuff from his snacks store on my credit card and have him just charge the 75¢ extra to use the air to pump my bike tires. He told me the machine was broken last week ( um illegal btw). So I put the stuff back I picked out and walked out of the store. He followed me and pestered me while I was scrambling to leave and put my backpack away. He told me I had attitude and my problems aren't his problems. I shook my head in disbelief. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I had visited the Point Bonita lighthouse and then wanted some Philz coffee...(Philz is across the street from this gas station). Anyways....I realized I was running on fumes and desperately needed a gas station before my car turned off on me. This place charges about $2.00 a gallon MORE than ANYWHERE else. A complete RIP OFF. The owner was nice to me tho. He approached me as I was pumping gas and suggested some good restaurants in the area. I normally don't do review on Yelp, but I take exception to this incredibly rude Bridgeway Gas station in Sausalito. Here's the horrible incident: I finished pumping $65 of gas, went back in my car to type in the GPS and then a heard a rude, hostile voice telling me to "move, and get the hell out!!!". I was taken by surprise and so shock that I thought it was some psycho homeless guy harassing me so I rolled up the window. Until my wife sitting in the back with my one year old told me that was the owner. Furious, I rolled back down the window and told him I'm a paying customer ($65 worth of gas just a minute ago), and that's when he escalated the incident even further and threatening to reach into my window. I have a one year old in my car so I'm not going to risk over some rude and crude lunatic that brought his third world customer service to what should be a nice town in Sausalito. Apparently, this greedy person only want people to hurry up, give him the gas money and get the hell out immediately. God forbid if you stay a minute longer to enter your gps. This is the worst place to fill your gas. My 4 year old wanted to go to the restroom. This gas station has a policy of allowing only customers to use their restroom. Even after showing the payment receipt, the owner refused my son to use the restroom. On asking the reason, this person started misbehaving and threatening, stating, "you don't the type of person I am. You don't know me." With a 4 year old son besides me, I felt very unsafe and threatened. I read several other reviews and felt that this gas station has employees with very bad attitude. The owner of this station seems to delight in being perhaps the most contentious, argumentative and surliest business owner in Sausalito. He blocks off parts of the property like it's a Restricted Area. He drove away the guys who ran a pretty decent repair shop on the property. (I must add that for several months now, there's now a repair shop on the property. I don't know them at all, but I wish them the best... anyhow,) He once gave me the 3rd degree just for going in to buy a lighter. He crabs at you if you just need some air in your tires. AND he gouges tourists with the highest gas ANYWHERE! If I ran out of gas in front of his station, I'd rather walk 1.5 miles north on Bridgeway and buy a gallon from Shell. Normally, I like to patronize the independent guys, but NOT THIS PLACE! My only hope is that he takes some of that extra money he's making off of the unsuspecting marks who get ripped-off here and finds a good therapist. Pulled in to drop something in the FedEx box at his gas station and he came out screaming at me to get the "F" off his property. I had my 12 year old in the car and told him to watch his mouth in front of my child and he continued with his screaming that he didn't give an F who was there and to get the F of his property. Rude customer service that tend to chase people away. They insist that you leave as soon as you pump your gas and not a minute longer.

I was on a road trip with my family, we stopped to pump gas heading back to Vancouver, BC Canada and we locked ourselves out while my dog was still in the car. This happened last week which is very cold in the evenings. We weren't wearing jackets because we thought we'll pump some gas, use the washroom and go back in the car. The owner of the place wouldn't help us,I needed to find the number to AAA he wouldn't help. I asked to use his phone to call AAA he said he has to pay for it. I told him it's a 1800 number and that he won't be billed for long distance but he still refused to help. He also said if I use his phone someone might try to reach him and he would not receive the call. I really think that's horrible, we were in need of help, we paid for gas and were locked out of our car while our dog was freezing and stuck inside. He has no morals, no compassion, no customer service. Thankfully there was a fire station across the street and 4 fire fighters came to the rescue and unlocked the door for us.
