The family lived on the east coast so I volunteered to help get the house resolved since I live in Albuquerque. We had two weeks to sort personal items, pull a few things for the assisted living center, empty and clean the house. I called Barb and told her I only had two weeks to get it done. Without hesitation, Barb said she would do it. Even after I told her the home location (not the best part of town), she was still on board. She managed the expectations of the family by informing them that area of town did not typically produce high dollars at estate sales. She and Keith came in and did an amazing job of sorting, cleaning, and organizing, then making the sale happen. Keith even made multiple trips to the dump with trash. After the sale, Barb had the remaining items removed and the house was clean and ready for the sale to close within the two week time period. The family made some money to help care for my friend and the job got done quickly, efficiently, and expertly. The family was given a cash payout with a spreadsheet within a week of the sale. A lot of estate sale companies would not have taken an estate sale in this area because there just was not enough money in it for them. Barb did it without putting any limits or conditions on her commission.
