It pains me to hear that so many people hate candy corn. Although Zachary's mellowcreme pumpkins are not exactly candy corn, they are nearly identical. Mellowcreme pumpkins are basically a giant chunk of candy corn shaped like a pumpkin. The candy is firm on the outside, but soft and dense once your teeth penetrate its outer layer. It's essentially a giant piece of sugar that has a hint of honey. If you're looking for a sugar rush, then this is the type of pumpkin patch you want to visit. Even if you do not enjoy candy corn you have to admit that the mellowcreme pumpkins look kind of cool. And since I've worked in Food and Beverage, I remember seeing "Mints" being served. :) If you go to any major grocery store (no names mentioned) as we all know, you will pay through the nose for many things. So shop around!!! The other night I was having a friend stop by and I wanted to make it a bit nicer for the supper table. I had been at a discount store earlier and discovered "Zachary Mints". The cost? $1.25. A product like this at major retailers would be a minimum of $3.50 upwards to $4,or $5 dollars. Shop around people, fight inflation.
