After Dr M's surgery I am completely pain free and recovering the strength in my legs. I've been going to Brielle Orthopedics for several years now. I have seen three different doctors and all were very knowledgable and helpful. I've never had a problem making an appointment or getting in touch with office staff. Everyone always seems really friendly. I'm not sure what spurred the bad reviews, but I've never experience anything negative from this office. read more

The staff is wonderful, and I see many doctors that I have referred to all my family and friends. I had a fusion to my cervical spine and I have never felt better, although I dreaded getting it done. Dr. Polowczyk was very attentive to my needs. A good listener. The staff at the front desk was very kind even to a cranky and rude patient that had arrived while I was at the desk. I have been dealing with disc issues for over a year and a half. I first when to Brielle orthopedics for a surgical consult. After the surgeon did not recommend surgery I was transferred over to their pain management physician. We tried three rounds on steroid epidurals that had little last in effect. After that she pretty much washed her hands of me stating I would be able to get prescriptions from her to try and manage my pain. Except when I tried to gain a prescription I have been told but one of her staff that they are referring me to a pain management facility not associated with them. I am discussed by the lack of treatment and options they offer. read more

For the first visit, it was HORRIBLE!! My daughter got hurt at school, I brought the ER xrays in for the visit. I was told there was no fracture to her arm. They tried putting it in a brace while my daughter was in complete pain and crying a lot. I asked for another xray because I knew something was wrong. I was told by Laura Malfitano that it would be too much radiology for her being so young. And that she didn't see any fractures so we were sent home in a sling. My daughter was up all night again in such pain. I tried calling this office back at 830am to ask them what to do. Around 1145am I got a message from them in a rude manor to call them back. I then got an appointment with Seaview who told me she certain there's a fracture and put her in a cast that day!! I will never go back to this practice or tell anyone else to go there! read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else.... they are the best.... as a medical professional, I took care of their post op patients. Their surgical patients did better than any other orthopedic doctor that I encountered. I never experienced any negative attitudes with anyone on the phone or in the office. read more

Dr Samantha Kanarek came highly recommended. After my very first visit, she was able to diagnose and remediate what was becoming a long term debilitating pain in my spine and legs. Unprofessional. The staff seems very disorganized and very nasty. You actually have to be approved to be seen by this medical group. And if you're not, you receive a handwritten note from the staff stating "not approved - bye bye". Very unprofessional. Would not recommend them especially since they're are so many other orthopedics, and very good ones, in the area. Good luck doctors - I hope your reputations exceed your unprofessionalism and the nastiness of your staff. read more

Absolutely no compassion. I've seen three different specialists within this group. They give up on you when you need help the most. Dr. Marscicano could care less about any crisis you're in. He referred me to Dr. Esquieres, the physiatrist, who basically dismissed me because he saw I had gone to another Dr in Ocean orthopedic over a year ago before I met Brielle Orthopaedics during a hospital stay last November. Talk about a major egomaniac. But back in November, I had decided I loved Brielle Orthopaedics because of Ingrid, one of the PAs, who makes rounds in the hospital for the group. I loved her. But the doctors in this group, especially Dr Esquieres, do not care. I wrenched my neck and upper and mid back from violent sneezing and coughing. Esquieres dismissed me with a steroid pack, and I called to speak with him. His assistant called me back. His answer was: go back to the other Doctor in Ocean Orthopedic. ( even after I had already told him that I like this group and see two other doctors here and I decided to remain with the group, not with the other group) . He could give a fuck less. read more

For the first time in my life I pulled my back with pain I have never experienced in my life (and I went through child birth twice). Went to ER and it was recommended I go see an orthopedic. Dr Kanarek was extremely dismissive and passive aggressively rude. She didn't even want to hear what I was saying she just said "physical therapy". When I asked what she thought happened she blamed my fibromyalgia...I'm so sorry I put that down. As she was about to walk out my son stopped her to ask about work bc I drive 45 min and I had told her I cannot sit and she had the nerve to tell us that patients think I can take them out of work permanently...How insulting, how dare her!! My son was horrified at how she treated me that he turned to me and said "what the hell was that" when she left. Both the physical therapist and my new orthopedic said it's a disk issue. I will NEVER EVER go to her again!!! I even called (three times) the office administrator Cathy Moss whose voicemail said she will call you back in 24 hours has not called me back and it's been over a month. They should both be ashamed at themselves for treating anyone like they treated me!! read more

The only reason why I am even giving a one star rating is because Yelp requires it. The staff here are incredibly rude, unorganized, and unprofessional. I went to them because I had injured my knee. I saw Dr. Law, who sent me for an MRI, which showed that I had a torn meniscus and a partially torn ACL. He informed me that I needed surgery. Let me state here that I saw Dr. law for a total of five minutes during my two visits there. The first visit he sent me for an MRI, and the second visit he walks into my room and states that I needed surgery and his surgical coordinator will set it up. Kathy, the surgical coordinator sets up the surgery and at that point in time informs me that all of Dr. law's surgeries are performed at the Surgicare center of Freehold. I was never given a choice of surgery centers, and also never informed that the surgery center is out of network for me. As a matter of fact, I wasn't notified of this until I received the bill. When I questioned the bill I was informed by Kathy that Brielle Orthopedics has nothing to do with the Surgery center - how can that be possible I asked? That's where you operate out of, that's where you sent me. I was told that it was MY responsibility to verify my insurance coverage and then she LAUGHED at me. Needless to say, I am hiring a lawyer. One of my greatest hope in life is to see this place shut down. Do not go there. read more

I'm only giving a two star because of the physical therapists that work on the first floor. If this review was strictly for them, I would've given a perfect five star. They are amazing, talented and very personable. I'm not apposed to saying names, so if you are on a workmans comp case & are told to see doctor nitche, ask for a second opinion. This man has no regard for how you feel. He's condescending and is very disrespectful. On my first visit there, he said that he looked at my mri & said I needed physical therapy. He told me to follow through and meet with him for an appointment the next month. When I met with him again, he asked if I was told to have an mri. I said, yes and X rays. He went outside of the room for maybe two minutes, at max, and said that he didn't see much wrong with me. I don't understand how the first workmans comp doctor said that I have a torn rotary cuff, and doctor n is now sending me to a neurologist because he thinks I have Raynauds disorder. I do not know when I am going back to work because this doctor never told me that I need to have a follow up with him. Even the physical therapists are appalled. Do not see him. read more
