I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Briggs Tree Service! I keep telling my family and friends about how awesome they are. The owner, Mr. Steve, came out to give an estimate on a huge old oak tree in my driveway. The gentleman was very professional, friendly, and thorough. He even had a meeting with us and our neighbors to make sure everyone is in agreement with how the plans would go. The crew came and went at it! Us and our neighbors even watched at how awesome their system was. They were so careful, proficient, and very nice people. They did an excellent job with clean up as well! Then, the owners son, Mr. Cole, came to haul the logs and asked us if we were satisfied or if we needed anything. He was extremely professional and so friendly as well. He was even talking to our son and even showed our son the crane and the horn. Overall, I recommend them 10000%. Briggs tree service is great! They are professional, competent, and polite. Steve, the owner, came and gave me an estimate the same day I called. His estimate was very competitive with another estimate I had gotten. Steve's son Cole came with a crew today and removed a large branch which a storm had taken down and trimmed dead wood from that tree and another. They were so efficient and cleaned up everything nicely. Will use them again if needed. Highly recommend this company. read more

They do good tree cutting and stuff, sure. Also, their estimates were on par with other tree service companies. However, they come unannounced without warning. I actually cancelled their service and they came a couple weeks later anyway, unannounced, to do service. I asked them to leave behind all that was cut, ALL, but because their laborers don't speak English, at least the ones on my job, they didn't understand and only left behind partial of what they cut. They also billed well over estimate. I did pay them for their jobs, which they did do very well, but the lack of communication on their part, and doing service after a cancellation request, is why I'd recommend you maybe finding somebody else for your tree service. read more

These guys were awesome! I saw their ad and messaged them and they were out and taking a look at the tree to be removed within an hour. They did everything they promised. They gave an estimate, we got it scheduled, and they removed the tree today in 99 degree temps. Had them also trim a neighbor's tree that was impacting our roof. Cole and Jose were the best. Their prices were extremely reasonable and kept us informed and made sure myself and my elderly parents (it was their tree/house) were completely satisfied. My neighbor hired these guys to remove a tree. While they made quick work of it, the crew was not very courteous when it came to my property. Mind you, I didn't hire them, my neighbor did. The crew ate lunch in my yard, leaned tools against my fence, and dropped branches into my yard. They even left refuse from their lunch laying in my front yard. Not very professional. Probably did a fine job with the tree, but they need to respect adjacent properties. read more

Called Briggs to take out a row of trees next to our home. Quoted price was written on the back of a business card. Work performed expertly and quickly, with little damage to our lawn and zero damage to the house, which these trees were draped all over. Also trimmed up and thinned a large mature tree. Took a few days and we needed to be flexible with time and day but i would recommend Briggs and would call them again. read more

Is 70% taken off a tree trimming? Well that's what was done to my two red leaf maples. Trim...and 70% was removed, I now have two, over 20 year old trees that look like 2 stalks of broccoli. Had an arborist consultation with confirmation that the trees were not only "trimmed" too much but "trimmed" incorrectly! Be leery when hiring Briggs to trim your trees. read more

I hired Briggs about two years ago, then I hired again a month ago, they trimmed my tree in the yard and also I had to have my neighbors tree cut and trimmed cause it was hanging over my property. Steve was great, and such a nice man, and so was his crew. Came out within 2 weeks did great job and great clean up. Will hire again. read more

I called Steve and a couple of others to cut down a couple of trees and trim a bunch of trees in my yard so I could get some sun on my roof. he had the best price by far and best of all he and his crew did a awesome job. and cut the trees up so I have firewood for the rest of the year. nice. Brigg's is the best out there. I called them and Steve came out the same day to look at the trees that needed to be removed. He called me back right away. He also helped with a structure we needed taken down. He told me how much, what day, and how he was going to accomplish the tasks. Everything was done just as he had said, on the day he said. Arrived unannounced and I was not there. Scared and stressed out the crap out of the people in the house. Started to rain and ,per our neighbors,, workers decided it would be a good idea to stand on our covered porch and have our dogs go nuts and stress out and scare the people in the house even more. I had obtained several quotes decided to use Briggs due to high reviews on a local community FB site. All quotes were within $100-$200 of each other. Verbal quote included tree removal and stump grinding. Now the next part shame on me I should have read the written quote in detail because it did not include stump removal. So in all reality Briggs was quite a bit higher. Never an explanation why verbal quote included stump grinding and written quote did not. Did receive an apology via e-mail. 2 stars work was done and they cleaned up what they did (I believe in being truthful and honest) but poor execution and customer service. Worst experience ever!!! Briggs Tree Services dumped tree clippings/mulch from another work site on our property. We had a 10 foot x 3 foot high bark and mulch pile on our lawn - we had 3 medium sized evergreen bushes removed. The bark in the giant mulch pile did not match our bushes except for perhaps 1/10 of the pile. It was truly unbelievable! My parents used this service when it was owned by the current owner's father - completely different and much better service. Never again and we would not recommend this company at all. read more
