They gave me the best quote of the 4 I sought and when the day came they had all the right equipment and personnel. In what seemed no time, those men had my tree down and all the evidence of its existence in a truck being hauled somewhere. I' once used them to clean up many substantial downed branches and things after a mini-tornado. Not only was the service impeccable, but what I really appreciated was their quote. Other contractors were gouging but they gave me a fair price that was better than everybody else's Another job they did, also the biggest job they did for me included taking out a massive 60-year old Oak, and various bushes and trees that ran along 3 sides of my yard. This large job took the entire day but they cleared every bush, stumped every root well into the evening until the job was done. (before and after pics attached) Through all of this, the business owners have been incredibly easy to deal with. I just called and stated what I needed done and they either came out for a quote or gave me one over them phone. I've also recommended them to two family members that went on to hire them and both were immensely pleased. Before the person could leave our home Mr. Briggs called me back so I told him for calling but we had just made a deal with this other company. We were approached by Economy to remove 2 dying trees in our parkway. The first quote was $1500 and he quickly lowered it to $1,100. When we said we were looking into the town removing them, he lowered the price to $800. We told him to leave his business card and we'd get back to him. We called back and asked if they would remove the 2 trees for $500 cash. We agreed on $580 cash. When the owner came to collect, he told me we got an extremely good deal and asked for $50 more. Then he stated that on the invoice it says "no dirt or mulch removal when grinding stumps" and Economy actually removed everything. Not my problem. I felt the owner was manipulatIve. He quickly left when he realized he wasnt getting anywhere with me.

Make sure it's in writing on the quote. They also accidently damaged part of my neighbors tree when they lost control of their chainsaw and it went swinging over the fence.
